As long as you haven't deleted the LG keyboard and the LG Launcher you should be fine.

excuses me , my english is poor.
If i understand well, i can do a reset factory now without other preparation ?

i do a little up with another question:
Is it possible to force a re-flash with the same stock ROM ? and how to do this ?

[Q] Question after phone factory reset..

Yesterday, my problem is:
Please help everyone, I messed up with my phone..
I installed SGStools yesterday and just click on TouchwizUI GTG and it went all ok....
About the installation of GTG Touchwiz, I think there is an phrase saying "first, install ..... e.g. launcherpro" which I didn't do. But after that it went ok.
THen this morning, I started to notice that evrything i press the middle button once, it will vibrate and an error will popup, and I need to click it again to relaunch the homescreen..
After that, I went to SGStools again and tried to restore my backup, but the backup wasnt there, so I try to reinstall the Touchwiz GTG then afterwards restart the phone, after which, the homescreen is gone but I can still use the notifications and answer calls and text.
Please help me, I'm on stock ROMs and all things that I installed in my SGS is OCLF and Root and this one. Please help me!!
I'm using stock ROM, and just Root, OCLF and SGSTools.

I was able to make a workaround by installing LauncherPro by sending a text message on my phone, including website to Android Market, and then it went ok, LauncherPro is installed, then I tried to reinstall SGSTools Faster TWGTG then uninstall LauncherPro. Afterwhich I Factory Reset my phone, cause I want to start all over again.
Question is: Since before I reset it, I already rooted/SuperUser/OCLF/SGSTools on it, Do I need to redo all of them again?
I Noticed that there is an icon of SuperUser I guess, maybe, it is still there..
Thanks in Advance!
Anyone Please?
Anyone know how to do this?
okay now my phone is ok

Noob question

So all I want to do is a factory data reset, will this clear my root and should I remove my lag fix first
Its called a factory reset. Did it come rooted from the factory?

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 using XDA App
What about the lag fix should i remove that
Wouldn't hurt to do so, just to make sure no problems do happen.
Instead of not disabling it and then having a problem...
If I accidentally uninstalled twlauncher will a reset reinstall the twlauncher
Dont think it will. Sound like you need to flash to stock (saw your post in the other thread). There are dozens of threads about doing that.
All you need is a little research.
Your system apps stay the same, so if you are on a custom Rom that is pre-rooted it will stay rooted. I have done many factory resets. It clears all your data and installed apps. If you uninstall a system app it will not reappear with a factory reset. You will need to find the apk and put it back in your system.
more of a factory wipe than a reset

From what you posted , i gather that you where having booloops after a restore, this is common, so the fix most times are to flash the kernel.

is that boot loop? because it only stucked in that logo. if i tried to charge it, only the loading "little circle" yes, i already know the process on how to fix that . just flash a kernel again,. so restoring may cause bootloop? like how many %?
After you change ROMs you dont restore your CWM back-up.CWM is a back-up just incase something goes wrong. What it does is makes a copy of the ROM settings your phone was on before the flash so if something goes wrong you can get your phone back atleast. To flash a ROM and then restore CWM over top you will end up with your old ROM again. If you only back-up certain things then you are trying to restore certain apps that have settings from your old ROM that probably are not compatable with the new one. Before a flash make a complete CWM back-up just incase something goes wrong but also make one with Titaniun of all your app, contacts and what ever. When all is good and done replace with Titanium and thats it but dont restore your CWM back-up cos your restoring your old ROM again.

aww.. didn't know that, well after that boot loop problem, then i flashed XXJVS 2.3.5 kernel, and the rom was gone, it's just gone back for a new phone but 2.3.5 though. so the titanium back up is the best app to restore game app+additional data, contacts and other apps? because now i installed some gameloft games, and they requires 500mb+ additional data(depends on game) that's too lot to download again, our connection is just not that fast for it. i download the additional data for like 6hrs (612mb).
sweet. No worries. There are 2 titanium apps on the market.A paid and a free one.For what you want id get the free one as i dont think you need the advanced settings the pro version has.Titanium backs up whatever app you want with or without data so in your case you can save your games and data aswell and flash new ROMs and wont loose anything. It also links them back to the market again incase of updates.Need to be rooted thought.Do a CWM back-up just in case.flash your ROM and dont forget dalvik cache and cache partion wipes before rebooting.Root your phone reinstall titanium, load your google account and then reinstall with titanium. It installs all at once so you dont have to do one at a time.Good app to have.If something ever did go wrong with the flash and your phone was left semi-bummed or whatever and you didnt know what to do or couldnt fix it then you boot to recovery and restore your CWM back-up to get your phone back to the way it was before the flash.that is what its there for.Its a saftey net.

When you flash it with Flashtool, unselect wipe DATA, anyway you can backup your phone with your google profile, that will auto redownload all your apps.

I thought Google only backs up app data, but not the apps themselves? And the order of apps on my launcher would also get lost. I have yet to find a backup solution that really backs up everything, just like iTunes does....

Save all you need & do a Factory Reset. I do with Erase everything.
I advice not to restore a backup because you may restore the proble too.
