[Tutorial] How to use Zoom for Tasker (creating customized icons) - Android Themes

Hi everybody. As I promised, there is a tutorial about using Zoom for Tasker, to create personalized widgets.
In this tuto we are creating a 1x4 widget with an icon which launchs an aplication, a button that launchs battery settings and a text which displays the hour and minutes, and launchs the clock menu
In this tuto, I'm more interested in the potencial of the app than in creating an amazing widget.
First of all, launch Zoom, and create a new template. Name the widget (I'm naming it "New widget". Original, isn't it?),
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
And here we are, in the workspace.
The footprint icon is for change between normal, move and resize mode.
To add an element, just longpress and select, or menu->add element.
You can choose what type of element you want from a menu
Let's add the background. Menu->add image, and choose the source, and then resize it as you want.
Let's add the icon. Again, Menu->add image, and choose the source, and then resize and move.
Now, choose click action -> launch apps, and select the app to be launched.
This way, you can create buttons, texts which displays the battery level, the hour, etc. switchs that realizes alternatively some functions, etc.
After finished, the last thing is to add from the widget menu, and here we go

These are examples of displays based in this app

And dumping some of my stuff, including personalized icons, and backgrounds for vertical widgets
Enjoy!, and sorry for my english

sweeterhome question

Hi guys,
Don't know if this one is popular here but there's a new version of sweeterhome out (beta)
I love my ahome setup but I must admit sweeterhome has some serious potential.
I've created 2 simple screens but I have an issue
center screen:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
left screen:
I noticed that I wasn't able to swipe to another screen anymore because my app tray / widgetblock use the full size of the screen.
If I'm on my center screen (with clock and pure calendar) I can only swipe to my left screen (with apps) when I swipe over the clock widgetblock. Swiping over the pure calendar widget doesn't work.
When I'm on my left screen (apps) I can't swipe to my center screen anymore. On this screen I have one big app tray with 5x4 icons and one small app tray at the bottom with 5 apps. In other words, the complete screen is filled up with app trays (both of them are locked).
Anybody using sweeterhome here which might be able to help? I've posted this on the sweeterhome site as well...
Thx
B
go into edit mode on the left screen, edit the properties of the springboard launcher you made to open up the apps tray (I assume you are using a springboard for that), then in the properties of that springboard should be an option that says "make minimizable"; toggle that to yes. exit out of edit mode now you should be able to toggle that same springboard app launcher to both open and close that tray it controls. give you back your desktop.
alternately, resize the app tray so it doesn't cover up the bottom where your toggles are.

Hello everyone
I am more than happy to present to you ~DevilL-Dante's Anime Icons. Although these icons were originally not meant for Android but for Windows/Mac icons, I was able to find a simple way to add them to Android with the help of "Simple Text-Text Icon Creator".
Steps:
Download icons or complete .zip file
Install Simple Text-Text Icon Creator
Add a Simple Text-Text Icon Creator widget to your home screen (2x2 works best on standard 4x4 or 4x5 grid sizes)
Choose the "Select Icon" option and locate the icon your want from your memory. (If you download the zip file you will need to unzip it, which there are unzip applications on the Play Store or you can do it on your computer)
Choose the "Select Action" which will allow you to choose a application/shortcut/none actions to be taken when widget is tapped.
Press "OK" at the bottom and your DONE!
Hit the "THANKS" button for me if you like them, also feel free to give your thanks to ~DevilL-Dante for these amazing icons and the many more to come.

[App] Lockmix - Change your lockscreen with widgtes: BG, Weather,News, Rss and more

Arrange a great variety of widgets to your lock screen!
Lockmix is a lock screen content provider application that offers a great variety of widgets to be pinned to your lock screen in a way similar to the start screen tiles. It turns your lock screen into a grid where you can pin multiple tiles, which are then updated regularly to display various information. Each widget can be independently moved around, resized or configured just like the tiles pinned to your start screen.
Not enough space on the lock screen? No problem, each widget can be also pinned to the start screen as a live tile.
The widget selection includes common widgets such as weather, news, appointments or battery, uncommon widgets such as countdown, map, currency or RSS, and even fun widgets such as Chuck Norris facts or famous quotes.
As background, you can choose Bing image of the day, solid color fill, custom image, or a collection of custom images that are rotated or shuffled regularly.
The application itself and a lot of the widgets are free. Other widgets can be purchased in-app (with trial).

Question Widget help

Got my phone debloated yesterday and started adapting it to my preferences.
I was very happy with the look and widget functionality on my P30 Pro and ideally would like to replicate it.
Here is a screenshot:

I am using Nova and an icon pack called 7null, but this is no longer available on the appstore - and can't find it on my phone.
Not a big deal.
The widget showing the time is Zooper which unfortunately is not longer available. I love this widget as it's extremly customisable - I chose to have it connected to my google calender so it always shows the next event. Phone temp not important. Tapping the clock takes me to the alarm, tapping calender opens google calendar.
I tried to transfer the app and downloaded it as APK from the web, but nothing happens when I try to install.
Anyone know if it's possible to install or if there is another widget that has a similar look/funtionality?
The next calender event is number 1 for me. The option on the phone right now just showing the entire calendar month.
thanks!
Reinstalled the Vivo store which enabled me to install the APK - now I just need to figure out how to remove the widget name without losing the app names
try this
go to setting->Home screen,lock screen & wallpaper->home screen settings->icon style,size & name->turn off show icon name
tried that but that removes app names which I need. I just want the widget name gone. Never had widget names displayed on other phones
