Question Widget help - Vivo X90 Pro Plus

Got my phone debloated yesterday and started adapting it to my preferences.
I was very happy with the look and widget functionality on my P30 Pro and ideally would like to replicate it.
Here is a screenshot:

I am using Nova and an icon pack called 7null, but this is no longer available on the appstore - and can't find it on my phone.
Not a big deal.
The widget showing the time is Zooper which unfortunately is not longer available. I love this widget as it's extremly customisable - I chose to have it connected to my google calender so it always shows the next event. Phone temp not important. Tapping the clock takes me to the alarm, tapping calender opens google calendar.
I tried to transfer the app and downloaded it as APK from the web, but nothing happens when I try to install.
Anyone know if it's possible to install or if there is another widget that has a similar look/funtionality?
The next calender event is number 1 for me. The option on the phone right now just showing the entire calendar month.
thanks!

Reinstalled the Vivo store which enabled me to install the APK - now I just need to figure out how to remove the widget name without losing the app names

try this
go to setting->Home screen,lock screen & wallpaper->home screen settings->icon style,size & name->turn off show icon name

tried that but that removes app names which I need. I just want the widget name gone. Never had widget names displayed on other phones

HTC Home Customizer help???

Hello I'm new to tweaking phones. I just got a AT&T Tilt a few weeks ago. I've been searching through a galley of phone home screens and have deciphered some of it. I've downloaded the HTC home customizer and also downloaded HTC appearances.
First question for HTC appearances. I put the .zip file on my phone and can see all the added themes and extensions but I can't figure out how to use them. Do I unzip it in windows then transfer the unziped files into a specific folder on WM?
Second question. I'd like to know what this dialer skin is if anyone is using it. I like it and would like to put this on my phone.

Next for the HTC home organizer how do I put it at the top of my display. For some reason my calender is above it and I'd like to remove it and have the clock right under the start tray. Basically I want it to look like this home screen below. I'd like the app he has that shows you the battery status, memory and network etc. What app do I need to display this?
Last thing at the bottom of the above home screen it still has the daily schedule task manager thing. I still have that on my phone as well and want to get rid of it so its nice and clean with no text just shortcuts. How do I remove that bottom section that has my appointments and email etc.
Also if it helps could someone hook me up with a good free program to do screen captures that way I could just upload that and show you what mine currently looks like and what I want to change.
Thanks a bunch very nice work guys!

Calendar widget in Android?

One of the main functions of my current smart phone is PIM functionality. I like to have my calendar up front. For example, this is my current home screen (via SPB Mobile Shell for WinMO):
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Just a small amount of calendar, but shows my next two upcoming appointments.
I haven't seen any Android screen shots showing such a screen. Anyone know if there are widgets for any of the Android home screens to havef a calendar showing?
The rest of the items on the screen are links to my most commonly used things.
Agenda Widget
I use Agenda Widget that ties in with google calendar. It provides widgets for a plethora of X by Y sizes.
ByteWrencher
I use Pure Calendar Widget
Hey man, your photobucket image got deleted. However, +1 on the Pure Calendar Widget. It's very nice, and very customizable. Though I wonder why nobody has made a live wallpaper of the calendar with your appointments floating in the background. Sigh, if only I were a developer
Calwidget
simple. no scroll. text and back ground color/transparency configurable.
+1 to Calwidget! Very good app
Wow, Calwidget is Perfect!
I am currently using Pure Calendar, and its great IMO. Also using adw launcher so its scrollable. Really its about fully customizable. I've only used a couple of other calendar apps, when I found this one I stopped looking.

Torch light 1.24 widget runs in background + has lots of permissions

Hi,
I was using the task manager that installs with Go Launcher EX to have a look around and noticed that the torch widget/app that came with the stock GB install was running in the background. When I killed it, it restarted automatically and when I checked its permissions it had pretty much free run of everything (see pic - and that doesn't show the lot).
Now, I may be being paranoid, but this setup looks very suspicious for a simple torch app - anyone with more experience of such things care to comment.

Block those with Droidwall.
I don't understand why stock music player on ICS (and may be on GB too) can read email attachment, sms/mms ?
Yes, weird. I've actually frozen it with Titanium Backup and installed a free widget from the Play Store.

Disabling Lockscreen weather notification possible?

I think its crazy that one cannot take the weather widget off the lockscreen. I mean, you can but then the temperature in the taskbar goes away with it or as do all notifications like texts and emails. I think my lockscreen looks like crap with the big ugly box displaying the weather.
There's no weather widget on my lock screen. Are you running a custom ROM?
Gotta love first posters ....
What phone, what variant (carrier) and what ROM (if at all) and /or third party app are you using?
Handy tip - as they say - "more info works best and gets better answers quickly"
Can't seem to post a screenshot of it here but no matter which weather app i download it puts a weathere widget bar on my lockscreen right under the clock. I have a nonrooted n6 from Motorola with a verizon sim in it. No matter which weather app i use they all work the same as in, if you want to display the temperature in your taskbar, it will have that ugly ass widget with it on the lockscreen. Sucks.
If you mean that you're using a notification to show the weather then yes, it will show up on your lock screen. That's how Lollipop works, it shows notifications on the lock screen.
It's not a widget...

Pretty sure this is what he's talking about. Ya, looks kinda ugly, but like they said, its how LP works.
I am sure as more xposed modules are made and released, someone will figure out a way to remove just the box.

Cannot believe a phone as customizable as an n6, one cannot simply drag that feature into a garbage can or something.

Restore stock android wear stopwatch

See latest update below.
Hi XDA, I need some assistance in finding the APK for the stock android wear stopwatch. Prior to 6.0.1, I had both the Samsung stopwatch and the stock Google stopwatch, after installing the update I could not find the stock stopwatch anywhere on the watch, I have attempted to search thru OTA and system dumps for the APK but so far I have had no luck.
Any help would be appreciated.
P.S. Here is the app I am talking about.

Update
So after finding a pull of the system from July 2014, I have found that the stopwatch is contained within the DeskClockMicroApp.apk and its matching .odex file, now I need some assistance as the apk has a conflicting package name with the clock app currently installed.
Update 2: Progress
So I have decompiled the apk, changed the package name, and recompiled and signed with a debug key. The app works when launched via voice actions and set as default stopwatch HOWEVER it does not show up in either the native app drawer or wear mini launcher (It also does not show up in the app drawer when installed to my phone, however, creating a shortcut within activity launcher allows launching and using the app)
So here I am, the app works but you have to use voice actions, if anyone knows how to fix the icon, please reply.
