am in trouble. plz help me out - HTC Incredible S

hi guys.
i did a terrible mistake last night nd am stuck.. need ur help.. plz help me.
last night i tried to update my radio from 3805.04.03.22_M to 3805.04.03.27_M.. i renamed 3805.04.03.27_M to PG32IMG.zip nd placed tat on the root of my sd card..
i did this because my gps was not working properly.. i was running android revolution hd 1.02 then.. i flashed the radio successfully nd checked if my gps is working normally.. but no it was'nt. then i thought of flashing cyanogenmod rom.. i downloaded the zip file and placed it on my sd card.. i booted into the recovery took a backup nd wiped the data nd cache.. and yes i forgot to remove the PG32IMG.zip from the sd card. along wid this i accidently pressed on "reboot nw" option on my CWRM.. nw whn i press "volume down button nd power button" it takes me to hboot menu and as PG32IMG.zip is on my sd its trying to flash tat.. nd do not allow me to enter into recovery mode. as there is no data on the phone whn i power up the device am getting a white screen wid htc logo..
guys hw can i get into the recovery or flash any rom nw?? is it possible to manually push any rom via adb or in any other way. am unable to use my incredible s.. plz help me.. thank you

same problem here and another guy is having it too. Used to lock in 3 seconds when I was on stock, not rooted. Installed a RUU without the bootloader and it still didn't work.

I believe there is a problem downgrading back to Froyo once you install a GB Radio. You may be able to flash the ROM, but you won't be able to flash a radio.

Flash non service versions. It should wipe your phone clean. The links above are for the non service versions.
Select any one you want. All work for India. If you want me to choose, select SEA. If you use 3g, you have to set your apn manually.

GOT is a old version. You use GOT if you want to flash other ROMS like CM7, FroyoMOD etc because it has vulnerable recovery injected into it.
If you want stock, then you have to use the official sbf's and then flash VR for rooting and overclocking.
hmm k thnx .. ill get it to stock .. n then root it .. but no custom rom .. i like cm7 except for the slowness tht it brings to the phone ..
is ther ne advantage of having a rooted phone other than puttin a custom rom ?

Just close rsdlite. Dont worry about any warning thrown up. Next you need to flash the VR from here.
Flash using rsdlite. This time when the phone reboots and before it shows the Moto logo, press and hold the "x" button on the keyboard till you see the exclamation mark. Then press volume+camera button and run AOR.
Inside AOR, first thing you need to do is to remove the OTA check.
Choose console and type " rm -f /system/etc/install-recovery.sh ", followed by exit.
Then root your phone and reboot.
i dnt get this each time .. wht do u mean by run AOR .. i get those 4 options each time .. u mean click on tht apply update.zip ?

Yes. Choosing apply update will run AOR if you have it on your sdcard.
u mean doin tht open recovery thing .. placing the zip file on the root of the sd n all ?
ohk .. got it ..

low in call volume on stock rom

So, I'd been using MIUI for some time, and as we all know it has low in call volume when we receive a call and now this problem persists even after switching back to stock ROM ( spice 318B A01 ).
Thats really weird because it was a fresh install of .nb0 and not a nand backup. And I made sure to format /system as well as /data and /cache.
This thing is really bugging me
Any of you guys facing the same problems?
desperate for a fix *sigh*
peace.

Firstly. Wrong area of forum, mods plz move.
Secondly, why did you need a outdated froyo radio? IncS has already received official gingerbread?

Maybe because when your phone is rooted you cant install the system update from HTC. Apparently that CAN brick your phone. But thanks for the input.
Update radio using PG32IMG.zip
Hi,
if U can get to hboot then try to load a different Froyo radio to your sd card using your PC. And later install it via hboot and see what happens. Maybe the radio file you´ve used was corrupted. See which radios were recommended for the ROM you´ve restored. Use radio in PG32IMG.zip form.

[Q] Recovery wont open any ZIP files

So , I have tried every version of TWRP I can find Including PHILZ , and none of them will open zips to flash everything fails,Also my nandroid backups fail to flash as well after i do a factory reset........ md5s are fine.. Ive also made sure they aren't ZIP.ZIP.. Ive done a fairly extensive search to no avail.Has anyone come across this problem? .. frustrating... Im on the hk firmware S-off rooted
In twrp settings did you make sure that Theme testing isn't on.. Even So on that screen press default settings tab and reset twrp flashing settings... Just in case you have a sticky setting..
ya tried that too .. unfortunately it didn't work..... i don't think its a TWRP only problem because PHILZ wont work either .. the recovery just wont open any zips

A while back on a different device i had the same issue. I relocked the bootloader, and then went through the whole process of unlocking again (at htc-dev) reflashed the recovery did fastboot erase cache and reinstalled SU. was kind of a hassle but it worked. Worth a shot maybe.

actually makes a certain amount of sense .. it might be a bootloader problem ,.. I think im going to ruu.. start over and if that doesnt work i will definitely give that a shot... THANKS!!!...

Your welcome, i didnt go as far as an RUU, Just relocked the bootloader and did the unlock process over. but if you want to go all the way back i dont see any harm in it. Glad i was able to help man

Or you can delete your TWRP folder from sdcard and reflash recovery...that has helped me before
Also what are you trying to flash somethings are not meant to be flashed in recovery some are fast boot/bootloader flash setups

Yeah that is because by default the m8 has external sdcard r/w protection I believe. So yeah moving it could work
