If you mean the original slide unlock/vibrationion toggle then you can easily change back while in cm7. If you go to settings>cyanogenmod settings>lockscreen you can change the lockscreen to that style.

[Q] Questions about Zeam

Hi all,
How do I get percentage on the Battery icon ?
Is there a way to make a custom shortcut, like in ADW (I want the Alarm, but not the Clock) ?

Percentage on battery is a function of ROM, not the launcher. I know CyanogenMod 6.1.2 will do it.
You can try menu /add / shortcut, then point it at the alarm activity. or you can download an app like "Alarm Launcher".
Neither has anything to do with Zeam.

If I install ADWLauncher, long press the background -> Custom shortcut -> Pick your activity -> Activities -> Clock -> Alarms

You can try Battery Icon Mod, should be here in XDA Developer somewhere. That may help you somewhat.
You can't add the function to the ROM. You have to flash a new ROM.

So you refuse to download another app?

Notification Bar for CM7

after using cm7, I found out that the notification bar is no longer there. I don't use ADW, so there's no setting I can use to 'unhide' it.
basically I am referring to the shortcuts and/or last recent apps bar when I pull down the notification window.
What do u mean? Cm does not have recent apps in notificationbar as sense rom's have.

I know CM7 doesn't have it, I mean what third party can I install to bring back this feature. I actually prefer shortcut than recent apps, so it doesn't have to be recent apps on the notification bar.
It's pretty easy to get used to using long press home to view recent apps. it's so second nature noter I forgot all about that sense feature.
Swyped on transparent XDA app.
Get cape. Wear cape. Fly!
turns out I have to do something different to bring back the power widget in the notification bar. The power widget (if that's what its called) disappeared when I change the theme, and I've to uncheck 'show power widget' in the Cyanogenmod setting, reboot, and then recheck 'show power widget' again to bring back to power widget.
thanks and considered this case close

[Q] WidgetLocker and Phone Locking

Hey guys,
I'm on CM7 and have WidgetLocker. I'm wondering if I am able to still use a sort of phone/screen lock (Pin, PW, Pattern) without having the default Android lock screen first.
What I mean is straight from WidgetLocker --> Enter Password --> Homescreen.
I played around with the settings and the closest I came was I ended up having to go through 2 lockscreens (both the WidgetLocker and the default one) and the code, which is a bit redundant.
Side question: How do I change the statusbar icons? (Signal, Wi-Fi, Battery icons) Do they come along with released themes? Or can I mod them manually?
Thanks, appreciate it.
I believe that you can do this by using the pattern lock screen but the others won't work basically after you unlock it should pull up the pattern lock screen.
Oh and the easiest way to get themes is to search the forums here and the market for CM7 Themes and then just download and use the Theme Chooser App.
CM7.1 includes a setting to disable the system slider before security.
CM Settings > Lockscreen > Disable lockscreen on security
CM7 doesn't, but you can use WL's Root Helper's Autoswipe instead.
Thanks for the help guys, I got it to work using the Root Helper.
One last question: Is there a way to have these WidgetLockers as the screen to answer calls instead of the default Android one? Thanks!
Thanks for your help!

[Q] Locking the homescreen layout

Not sure if I'm overlooking something simple or whether the feature doesn't exist but is there a way to lock all the widgets in place once you have got your homescreen set out the way you want it? I'm sick of keep accidentally moving or deleting stuff when I drop my phone in my pocket before the screen has turned off.
I know there is an option in CM7 to do this but is it something that is a native android function or is it something that ROM devs would need to incorporate? I've tried searching for something that does it on the market but I just get swamped with lockscreen apps, and not screen locking.
Hi!
I'm using CM7 + Go launcher EX. Locking home screen layout can be done by pressing menu button (while you in home screen) -> more -> lock screen.
CM7 default launcher have same functionality, as far as i remember.
regards.
Yeah, I know it's available in CM7 but I prefer the sense interface so that's why I was wondering if this is something unique to CM7 or whether it is hidden somewhere within all android systems.
It's a functionality of the Launcher. CM7 uses ADW Launcher, you could install this on your sense ROM.
Yes is launcher... ADW or Go launcher...
Menu > More > Lock Screen

You have to use 3rd party launchers to lock the screen...Try using Go launcher...
OK, thanks for the replies.

Background wallpaper and lockscreen different

I am using google launcher and when I try and change my background it does not change the lockscreen background too.
When I go to change the lockscreen background in settings it does not offer the same options to choose from as my normal background...
Not Sure why you are posting this in the Galaxy S6 forum since the question is about Google Launcher. It's not a Galaxy s6 question but, a Google questions.
However, it's been a while since I used Google's Launcher. But, when you choose a wallpaper, it should ask if you want to use it for either the Home Screen / Lock Screen or both.

Easiest way to take care of that is to go to your gallery app or whatever you use to view the image, select "More" in the upper corner, then "Set as wallpaper", then select "Home AND Lock Screen". Profit.

i use the google now launcher too, and i have no problems with this. after you choose wallpapers in the home screen. slide all the way to the right and choose wallpapers again, there you can choose where you want to change your wallpaper, home screen, lockscreen or both.
