Hey,
I recently did a hard reset on a GT-I9000T, and now the home button is not working. I tried to do it again and again still doesnt work.. It still has the original firmware (unflashed/changed).
Anyone have any idea what's going on or how i can fix it? As i cannot continue flashing a new rom without the home key not working..
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a problem with my keys on the phone.. as of right now my home key the green send key and my keyboard shortcuts for apps are not working.
I'm running the apps to sd mod on the jf 1.5 rom... its been running ok for about 2 weeks nowand out of nowhere my hardware keys stopped working.
I have rebooted the phone plenty of times and everytime I reboot it tells me a process name cool.magic has to force close.. could that have something to do with it?
I have also searched the forums and could not find anything relevant.. I have never needed to post a question till now because I'm usually pretty successful at searching the forum.
Please help.. I really don't wanna have to wipe my fone.

Hey i Itried to re-flash the jf 1.5 update and nothing.. the keys still don't work.
I think it has something to do with the coolmagic.app.toggle5 that keeps force closing when I reboot... any other suggestions before I wipe the phone?

I've got a very big problem:
Today I tried to install a new custom ROM to my ADP1.
I've tried a lot but finally got to the step where I wanted to update the bootloader. After running the update the device was starting again but was reset after 2 seconds.
Since that time I'm not able to start my device again. I can press the power button or other button combinations but no vibration or screen that is showing anything.
Guys, I know that it was dump to do that and my fault so please no comments on that.
Has anyone any idea what I can do to get my device started again and get into any menu?

first problem....wrong section
have you tried holding home+power or camera+power when turning on?
if either of these get you anywhere then it can be fixed
there is no reason why you shouldnt be able to if it was just a rom flash gone bad
if it works, SEARCH, if not, sell it or get a doner

A few weeks ago my Captivate lock button stopped working. I am under the impression that it is a software glitch, but I haven't had time to play with it until now. I finally got the phone to show up on my computer (it was stuck booting into ClockworkMOD, but the select button didn't work. So I basically had a useless phone). I used Odin and flashed to 2.3.3 with Master Clear thinking it would fix the glitch and everything would work like normal again, but I was wrong. The lock button still doesn't work, and now I don't have my phone rooted. I want to flash back to stock Eclair, maybe that will fix this glitch, but I can't get into download mode. No button combo, no adb...nothing.
I'm here, because I want to know if anybody else has this problem, or if there is a fix that I can't find searching all over the Internet. Or if anybody knows how to root the Captivate without going into download mode.

the home button also functions as a select button in CWM
How were you able to get into download mode with the power button not working? Just curious, because I am having the same problem. Building a JIG now

thanks for your great works on s6500d. I flashed my s6500d using your rom, cm-10.1-20130920-UNOFFICIAL-jenad.zip. everything works fine except my home button only works on homescreen. when i open an app (facebook for example), and press home button, the home button doesnt work so I must press back multiple times to get back to homescreen.
Please help me.. I can't provide logs for now, but after little research I heard this problem has something to do with hw_config.sh.

This is unique case That's hard to advise the distance ... without logs...
Maybe you have freezed some system app like me. Unfortunately I cannot find which. Just unfreeze them all.
If you also press power menu, and find only power off option, you deleted setup wizard app from system or gapps.zip
This apk is important to config. system. If you don't want to use setup wizard just edit buid.prop
I tested this on stock rom:

Hi everyone, i have a question, i was installing a custom rom called resurrection remix, because it does have soft keys on screen, but i prefer my stock Lollipop, the thing is when i flash my stock kdz, my back button is not working, menu button is working fine but back button doesnt react to anything. I haven't done anything wrong, i never dropped my phone or something like that. Can you help me? Maybe there is a solution to this problem. And btw, when i install resurrection remix, there is that weird thing on the keyboard, when i want to press 0, it presses 9 and i cant press 0 no matter what i do. So guys can u help me?
