I'm using an JVQ rom and overall I'm hapoy with it.
But I also would like to have the SGS2 lockscreen because I really like the music controls when the phone is locked.
What are the files I should use to have it?
thanks
PS: Using a rom with lots of sgs2 apps is not an option as I feel they are a little bit slower

Hi people, I'm running latest version of this game... I don't know why, but sometimes when playing the game screen starts flickering, then game becomes soooooo laggy and I even have to reboot the phone... why? I know, this game uses almost 60mb of ram when playing it but I usually have around 100mb of free ram... I'm running GamerzRom 6.2.

I guess that is the rom problem because cut the rope works great for me on teamicssgs rc 4.2. You should try enabling the game mode in gamerzrom or maybe you can install gamerzrom v6.3 hope this helps.

I finally solved it! I was having problems with Plants vs Zombies too. Finally I realised that Google Maps app was causing all the problems. I unistalled it and now all my games run much better!

It is laggy on my phone two, the only way I found to solve it is cleaning all programs on ram, even if I got enough free to run it at first, don't know exactly why it happens, these was proved on stock rom JVS.

try unistalling Google Maps. If not... I recommend you to use Gamerz Rom, gingerbread stock roms suck a lot in gaming (28fps compared to 40 in froyo) but Gamerz Rom has got froyo Gpu drivers so games run smooth

You can also use ICS roms. I have never had problems with any games, I am running TeamICSSGS RC 4.2. CTR, PvZ, WMW?, all these games work smoothly and have no lag whatsoever.
Cut the rope is a low end game shouldn't really have problems.
I would change your Rom
Try trial xtreme that is quite high detail game and it runs ok on my phone.
Hi I'm having some trouble while typing in my ace, it writes random letters that are not even near to the letter in want to type so writing if becoming impossible does anyone have an idea of what could be going on with my phone?

Wrong Thread.
Maybe try a new keyboard? Also go check settings:
settings->Language & Keyboard
maybe it related to "ghost touch" problem?
I've never heard of that problem what happens with this problem?

might be a problem with ur touch screem. in the initial stages of touch problem u ll face these kinda issues..
which ROM are u using ? Which Kernel ?
I have had random touches in touchscreen when using some custom roms, also related to kernel.

to make this possible, i think we would need touchwiz's framework, and if we tried to port it i guess the chance of making it possible is quite low
but you are right its an awesome way to multitask on

That's what I've been thinking, but I remember I saw it with a non-samsung rom but I can't remember. And the possibility to port it from Touchwiz is very low as well

Our device has <400mb usable ram, It can't even handle some apps like chrome and you want it to play a video while browsing while using facebook etc.. I think if you want to do that you should move on to another device with more ram. Sadly the capabilities of our phone are limited by the hardware not only the software.
Its way too dark even in some well lit areas͵ and i am not even talking to low light situations.. any advice/mods?
Im in 4.1.2 v20a

Increase the exposure, no need for mods
Sent from my rooted P880
apparently in CM10.1 you can increase it by +1 only -_- in the stock rom you can increase it by +3 i guess.
Yes but even with that is hideous nothing compared to my brother's Note 2 or a Pantech Burst... with a Vga camera! Here is where LG truly dissapoints..

Is this a question or a complain?

Use your main cam, secondary is called secondary for a reason

More of a question.. i was hoping that a I had a deffective unit or a Mod that could improve a bit but thanks for the replies. I will manage to use the main cam during Skype calls.. a bit awkward to use it in that wat.

I have been using this ROM as a daily driver for quite some time now. I want to get rid of the music visualizations from the lock screen. I use jetaudio as the default player. Visualizations are turned off both in AudioFX and the music player but no change. Any help?

I'm not on the same rom as you, but I know that a lot of roms have an option in the settings for displaying music visualizer. Right now I'm using cyanogenmod and the option for this is in the lockscreen settings. Let me know if you find it.

Looked around a lot but couldn't find anything. Anyone using this ROM find a walk-around for this?
