It's a tutorial to root (you can remove some branded app with that, but it's complicated to remove shutdown animation)
The easiest way is to flash a new rom !

Ciao Dariuzzo, la differenza tra root e flash di una nuova rom, è che con il root ti garantisci i diritti di superuser (come amministratore di sistema in windows per fare un esempio), quindi modifichi o cancelli quello che vuoi (tramite appositi programmi) anche nelle aree di sistema (può essere pericoloso). Flashare una nuova rom invece significa riscrivere la memoria interna del sistema interamente, applicando una versione differente, magari no-brand. Ho acquistato il Black per la mia compagna, anche il mio era TIM e andava uno schifo (leeeeento e scattoso). Così ho deciso di flashare la ROM ufficiale Europe, e adesso è una scheggia. Fammi sapere se ti serve una mano, ciao!

se non ti accende il PDA, carica la Batteria, normalmente dopo 50% si potra flashare
e se non si accende piu, trova un altro
usa LVSW o il Dopot 810 ROM....altro non va

Войдите в сервисный режим бутлоадера, подключите кпк по usb к компьютеру, запустите на нем mtty (предварительно запретив usb подключения в activesync) и выполните комманду "info 2". Результат выполнения - в студию.

hi, first of all you need to change your Spl in orther to install I suggest you to put HSpl.
english rom= english language ( but italian t9 is supported)
Installa prima di tutto l Hard Spl sennò non puoi installare nulla, per quanto riguarda la lingua ogni rom ha la sua, in genere puoi usare comunque t9 italiano anche nelle rom inglesi ma tutta l interfaccia è inglese.

Did you change the spl before flashing? This symptom of the phone remaining in flight-mode can be due to having the incorrect spl loaded.
Read the Dummies Guide to Flashing ROMS (link in my signature)

salve a tutti, mi scuso in partenza ma sono un novellino in questo mondo.....allora espongo subito il problema....ho avuto regalato da un amico spagnolo un samsung I9000 brandizzato movistar.... questo telefono monta firmware 2.2 con un kernel 2.6.32.9 [email protected]#1 e versione I9000XXJPK. allora questo mio amico quando si è trasferito in italia (non so cosa ha fatto sinceramente) l'ha utilizzato con una sim H3G e funziona tutto bene (dice che l'ha sbrandizzato)....ora avevo intenzione di installargli qualche rom nuova simile all'aspetto del samsung S4 o giù di lì ... non sapendo se fosse già rootato ho scaricato titanium backup e mi dice che non ho i permessi di root..... ora secondo voi posso aggiornarlo a qualche rom recente continuandolo ad utilizzare con sim italiane (in particolare H3G ) ??????? scusate se ho detto cavolate ma ho letto le vostre guide ma non ci ho capito tantissimo
ps. entrando in recovery c'è scritto android system recovery 3e ..... non sò se vi può essere uitile questa info

this is an english forum, you have to write in english here... btw i'm italian and i understood what you are saying, changing rom does not affect radio behaviour (i mean that part that control the network connection), if he can use his phone with an h3g sim card he can use that even after installing a custom rom.

i can't help you for this because i do not own an i9000, i have a i9001 and despite the name and the appereance they are completely different, i suggest you to ask in the q&a section for i9000
