Personalize - Lockscreen - Menu - Settings. You can choose the app by clicking on one of the existing apps, then choosing the app that you want from the list.
*If I have helped you, please don't forget to hit the 'thanks' button!*

Click on the homescreen an choose "Widgets" and HTC Widgets. Her you have several watches and other stuff to choose from.
If you want more than 4 icon across you use ADW Lanucher.

In my opinion Use Nova launcher. So much possibility to customize it for your test. You can put up-to 15 apps on scroleble bottom dock. TW is good but i never use it because missing auto rotate feature. In nova launcher you can use your phone in landscape too. try Nova launcher I bet you will never use TW again.
Cheers....
(If you like Nova launcher dont forgate to press thanks button)
.
I could not figure out the instructions that's why I asked again. I press option and then press edit.what next?

I am on the TW launcher(default Samsung note launcher).
It does not allow dragging anything to the bottom(fixed) row.
I tried Nova launcher too, but did not like it. Guess, the only solution is to go try some other launchers.
They require root permission, but no issues, I am already rooted.
Will a launcher slow down the system, or its sort of a replacement to TW launcher?
I tried Launcher Pro, as well as Apex. Did not like them. The widget list available in Touchwiz(like SPlanner) do not show up at all on third party launchers.
Looks like I will stick to my default TW!
I have created video guide will update it when i m in office, just leave a pm to me if i forget.

[Q] Application Shortcuts within Dock

Anyone know how to place an application shortcut like a whatsapp contact into the dock/launcher bar? I was able to do this in stock jelly bean, but can't seem to figure this out in sense 5.

always 2 ways to do this on Android;
press and hold (on home screen and move to dock / on icon from app drawer)
click setting and choose edit
:good:
The problem is that when long pressing shortcuts from the home screen, the dock disappears making it impossible to move the app shortcut into the dock.

I understand an app can be added to the dock from the drawer, but that's not what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to add a app shortcut (i.e. a direct contact) to the dock. For whatever reason, Sense treats these shortcuts like widgets, restricting them from being added to the dock. This is frustrating as I was able to do this in stock jelly bean.
You need to go to the app drawer and then pull the application you wanna replace from the dock to the drawer. Once you have done that you will have an empty space to add the app you want to add to the dock.

I hope they have a fix in the pipeline. I can't be the only person who uses this feature.

Guide
Firstly you need a few apps to do this they are-
-Widget Locker(is a paid app on the play store)
-uccw(you can find from play store)
- my backup file (find here: http://t.co/ttGe5Kl6) (this is a backup file only and not widget locker)
clock jb+(don't need if you are on jellybean!)(again a paid app)
Steps:
1. extract the contents of the folder Ubuntu(from the backup zip) on to the root of our SD card
2.after you have installed all these apps open widget locker >settings>
And click on backups&restores and then restore my backup.
3.after doing this go to advanced settings of widget Locker and disable root helper setting.
4.then enable widget locker
5.your lock screen would be like Ubuntu
6.then for the lockscreen clock, long press on empty part of lockscreen and select widgets and add the clock jb+ widget app that you downloaded.......place it where you want to.
7. there would be a widget in the center of the lockscreen saying 'touch to recover widget', delete that one!
8. voila you have an Ubuntu lockscreen!
The widget you deleted was for showing you your unread messages,...... I will add that part later on some time.As you might have guessed this guide was written in very less time so aloha by then

Nice . . .

Every single time I install WidgetLocker Lockscreen I lose multi-touch privileges... I mean that when you hold a button on the screen then tap anywhere on the screen while still holding down the button gets depressed and the screen goes unresponsive for 2 seconds. It always happens in Super Hexagon, and happens after about 30 minutes of having it installed. I went to dev options and checked "Show pointer location" and when I am moving around the homescreen, when I am scrolling then I tap the screen while still scrolling, the lines reset and start again :crying:
It's a shame because I REALLY LOVE this lockscreen theme, and the app. It's an app I always recommend to everyone. Any alternatives OP?

[Q] tonyp_4 ROM invisible widgets problem

Hi,
I'm having a problem with widgets and app icons on homescreens, after flashing ROM tonyp_4, latest build, had same problem with his build3 aswell...
Why all my widgets and app icons become invisible on main homescreen or any other homescreen when I try to add another widget or app icon on other empty homescreen? I have like 1 clock widget and 6 app icons in my main homescreen, number of homescreens is set to 3, and when I try to add anything on other 2 unused homescreens everything on main screen becomes invisible? It's still there, only invisible, I can still long-press widget for example and drag it around, but when I relise it, it's invisible again...
Any solutions?
