OK let me start:

[Q] Battery always show 100%

Deleting batterystats.bin from /data/system doesn't help
what else can I do?
sort of the same problem
even when the battery is down to like 20% it still shows 90% on status
i just ignore it completely and use a third party battery meter like Gauge Battery Widget
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=8124361&postcount=46
it's simply the best!
@op, do you mean the battery indicator in the notification bar always shows full or when you check the status screen? there were quite a few times when i would delete the battery stats on my nexus one and the battery status would show 100% for 5 hrs or so, but eventually it would start to drop. once i fully charged it again it would work normally. one of the few things i hate about the galaxy s is that the battery meter in the notification bar is so out of whack. i hate having to check the settings page all the time and i stopped using battery apps due to battery drain
use the widget/status bar icon i recommended above
Allgamer:
Thank you but my problem was battery showing 100% all the time, it doesn't metter if I use widget or other method.
hondaguy:
Thank you
evantually it started dropping (after few hours)
now it's o.k.
The Galaxy S will show in the notification bar as '100%' untill the 75% mark is reached.

unable to launch application battery low ?

"unable to launch application battery low" > Radio
I get this when my battery is below 10% is there any way to bypass ?

[Q] Battery Icon Shows question mark

I have a strange issue, recently, my nexus (MIUI) shows a question mark on the battery instead of showing percentage, and the phone gives me a warning stating that it is 0% and to recharge along with low battery light warning. Needless to say teh battery is fully charged.
Sometimes, pulling the battery a few times resolves the issue until the next restart. Please help

[Q] Stock rom and battery percentage

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me why stock roms never use battery icons with percentage. Is it because showing the individual percentages, rather than just four or five different fractions of battery, consumes more battery?
And I don't just mean Samsung roms, but all others as well.
Firstly, it drains battery a little more, looks ugly, isn't a accurate indication of how long the battery will last (battery drains faster (upper 50%) and slower when <50%). (noticed how batter icon on stock roms displays half when battery is 40%)?
Secondly, Battery level is measured by how much how much voltage the battery provides. So if a CPU intensive app kicks in, percentage will lower itself by i.e. 20% and go back up once the app is killed.
Thirdly, will concern user too much and don't know when to either charge the phone (depending on usage) and ones who doesn't have a knowledge of physics to understand that "(battery drains faster (upper 50%) and slower when <50%)"
Fourthly, isn't as user friendly has a regular icon

[Q] How to switch of "battery low" pop-ups?

I'm on Android 4.1.2 root.
I want to get rid of these pesky "battery low" pop-ups incl. warning sound (15% battery left as well as 5% battery left).
Btw: there is another notifaction when the battery reaches 100% while being charged. If possible, I'd like to switch this off, too.
