[BOOT ANIMATION] Droid Bionic Eye - Android Themes

Hello!
Since most of our experience of the droid bionic has been F5ing droid-life and checking @MDB228 every 20 minutes, I thought I'd throw this together yesterday.
The eye was made off of Mr. Blurrycam images of the droid bionic eye which I reconstructed in Blender (the best for free 3D rendering!)
Here is a video of the animation:
And, since it is no fun to find a bootanimation with the wrong resolution, I've included all the resolutions I can think of for android devices. I only have a 854x480 device to test on, but all were made in the same process, so they should all work correctly (I hope!! 0.0 )
ENJOY!

Ive been saving these on my sd so i only have to paste the zip to the data/local folder. The bat1.zip said it was like 33 meg though. Might want to look at that. Bat2 was cool. Im sticking with prime so far though. You have a nack for these boot animations
i cut the animation in half and went with jpeg this time png makes larger size Im going to cut down on the eye animation next ... yeah makes a big difference in boot time being smaller...
Cool..........
Batman one is sweet lol

I guess I'm more of noob than I thought. I used root explorer and placed the file in data/local. now what?

[Bootanimation] Texas Tech University

This is my first boot animation I made. I used some wallpaper and a 3D can to make this animation using mostly photoshop. The text was added onto the wallpaper and then wraped around the can. Then I made the can spin and exported the animation into JPG files. I know everybody has their own favorite American college football team so here is mine.
Do not try to flash this. Use root explorer to place this zip file in your boot animaion folder.
I am not responsible if you break your phone.
Nice one. Man.
Thanks. I'm thinking about doing one with a tumblimg squar that has wallpaper on all all six sides. Like a rolling di.

Now that would be sweet.
Very nice. How did you make the image rotate in photoshop? And save every image of it rotating?

How to wrap can:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7RBQWeNduFY
How to rotate can:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDNYKR7lw1Q
How to export animation:
File>Export>render video>image sequence, rate 30fps. Save in JPG or PNG.
Make sure all images are in RGB from begining to end. If they are not just open and save in RGB. Photoshop tends to want to save everything in sRGB.

[PREVIEW] Mario 64 boot animation

I threw this together and doesn't look too bad, but still much i plan on doing with it.
Youtube video of it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3ApvKE4u_w&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Download link here:http://gunnermike53.com/Themers/dsubs317/mario64.zip
If you want to try it out, download the file, open up a root file explorer, find mario64.zip and copy it. Navigate to \system\media and paste the file. Rename the preexisting bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.zip1. Now rename mario64.zip to bootanimation.zip. Reboot and check it out.
To come: smoother & longer animation, reduced file size, hopefully some sound, and once that is accomplished, i want to get the droid guy in there instead of Mario...
If you like my work check out my website: http://sites.google.com/site/droidbionicdub/ and click that thanks button!

If your looking for custom boot animations, I highly recommend Absolute System Root Tools. It has a ton of custom boot animations that you can install on the Bionic. There are more than a 100 of them to choose from and you can install or download them for further editing.

Yes, absolute root tools is a nice app with tons of boot animations, but very few, if any, are displayed at 540x960. Therefore you are left with a boot animation that plays but doesn't fit the screen like it should.

lol yes I've tried that but many come out to small, but seeing as you ported over many to work with the bionic on your website you should get a little recognition. Saves people like me from having to figure out how to resize them

I haven't had that problem with the ones I've used but your able to also download them, then edit them. All you have to do is extract the images and adjust their dimensions to your liking then add them back to the zip. May not be the perfect solution for everyone, but gives you many more options than we have.

on your site, for which I thank you, you have many boot animations and logo screens but no screenshots. is there a place to see what these things look like, or is it all trial and error?

I've been busy the past week with a few things but plan on getting the site updated shortly. So as of right now, no there's no screenshots but should have them up shortly. I can tell you that I know that at least 95% of them work fine. There are a few that I have not tested. If you feel up to it, test some out for me and let me know your findings.

hi friends here I put the app called "Aniboot", You can download the app free in google play, there You find the bootanimation that You need, also, I put the apk for download.
View attachment com.socaldevs.aniboot-1.apk
and if you want the bootanimation X, this is the link for you to download.

Any luck for one developed for the Xoom?

Doesn't work with xoom ...whatever boot animation I set, an android logo text is only shown at boot
Sent from Motorola Xoom using xda app
I was able to get it to work copying the bootanimation.zip file and pasting it elsewhere, but not by using the app. But, the resolution was not correct, even though I selected the right one.
Sent from my ADR6400L using xda premium
Well, I tried pulling from the recent OTA, as well as the wallpapers, but no luck. I think the files are embedded in the patch files. Anyone have any ideas...maybe someone who installed the OTA can grab from their Xoom? Thanks.

[bootanimation.zip] modified Android 4.3 Google edition bootanimation

Made from HTC One Google edition's Android 4.3 system dump.
This looks like this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=agwSu2jDJt0
Differences between stock Android 4.3 Google edition's bootanimation:
- Initial Google logo will come in with a nice fade-in animation
- The Google logo will stay for about 1 second (so that you can fall in love with clean Google logo )
- Changed 24fps to 30fps for more smoothness
- Removed some frames for smooth movements (stock one has 4 frames that looks weird when played)
- The animation has two loop that switches between two rotation (stock one was one-way only. please check out the video)
- Added end-sequence that Android 4.1+ supports (the 4 circles splits when boot finished)
- Used image_optim --optipng-level 7 for max optimized images
- Uncompressed, zipaligned
- Supports xxhdpi(1080), xhdpi(720), hdpi(480)
Requirements:
- Device with Android 4.1+ (due to end-sequence)
- A rom supporting bootanimation.zip
- Device itself should not be EXTREMELY SLOW since this is 30fps with lots of movements
- Device's width pixels should be equal to 1080, 720 or 480. Else, the animation will be cropped or left over with black borders making it looks weird.
Download:
http://lap.so/csjs
Powered by AchonApp
(yes, this is an URL!)
Find your device's resolution on the link above
put it on /system/media and chown 0.0, chmod 644 it.
Resolution explanation:
xxhdpi - Galaxy S4 like display. 1920x1080
xhdpi - Galaxy S3 like display. 1280x720
hdpi - Galaxy S2 like display. 800x480
Your device should match the width pixels(1080, 720, 480) with above resolutions!!
- Please ask my permission first before including this in your theme or rom.
- Please ask my permission first before modifying and creating a new one based on this bootanimation.

Animation looks great and I want it, but I'm having a hard time trying to figure out your links. I have a 1920x1080 LG Optimus G Pro.
Nevermind I got it.
