Over downloading Mediafire links for the latest version of Tapatalk, I found myself running into an app almost alike.
The app is called Forum Runner.
Two things...
#1. The free version does everything Tapatalk does and more, downfall is you can't post attachments.
#2. The Dev himself told me that in the paid version you'd soon be able to add your favorite unlisted forums.
So should you try? Yes.
I didn't post attachments when I had Tapatalk because the quality had become shot out.
Give a go.

Well it seemed like a really nice app...right up to the part where I hit 'reply' and it told me that was a premium feature...I don't mind paying for an app but that's such a basic function it should really be included in the free version.

I used this app for a while and I swear I remember reply working just fine. Then a couple of days ago I tried it after uploading a new ROM and all of a sudden reply became a premium feature... that's garbage.
Tapatalk looks nice but?
How can I find out if the forums I use regularly work with tapatalk? With no free lite version it is difficult to know if it s a good investment or not. People keep referring to Tapatalk or XDA but surely the XDA app is just for XDA Dev forums and not for multiple forums (fora?) - I think developers would sell a lot more copies of good apps if they made trial versions available.
Are there any other multiple forum readers out there?

Go to the website on your phone and it should pop up a message. If not, then it probably isn't supported.

I would advise you to try the free BuzzBundle version. It has much more to offer
Just wondering if anyone has the link at hand for the battery % display. Came across it the other day. Keen to add it. Thought I subscribed to the thread but didn't and now I can't find it on my search.

I asked a dev in the evo 3d forum about fixing in call mix and he said the audio fix has been implemented into cyanogenmod already. Anybody try building the from again and pulling latest source to see if it works? I would but I'm at work

Vivid lost upstream.support...according to synergy, didn't know what he meant when he originally said that bit I tried compiling again to.find out that the latest updates to cyanogenmods source have made it so that you get a bunch of errors when compiling...when.AMD.if I ever get free time ill try and compile again...nbut I'm in highschool still, school.comes first and I'm already supporting slim bean for the Samsung infuse...so I'm pretty busy

Also that doesn't really say much...just says the directory the fix is located there can be many files (possibly over 100...) So just a directory isn't much help
But thanks for this info anyways like I said if I ever get time ill Gove it a try (unless someone beats me to it ...I have a mini guide on how to compile cm10 for the vivid in the cm10 development thread in the general section...back when you could still compile it, feel free to follow it bit I won't be able to provide much support...like I said I'm busy)

I'm working on a cm10 build right now, so far been able to fix the couple errors that have been thrown at me...only one that required assistance from more skilled people...but its going
Update...still working on this...stuck on an error...asking some experts for suggestions...but the build is almost finished...just gotta fix this error and hopefully that's it...

Just got home and ate dinner (9pm!)
Anyway a...if you want I can get you a link in a little..its very buggy...not sure if flashing gapps will help
As of now its completely missing the camera app...strange? Texting works, but calling doesn't...at least for att..can't say for other carriers...and the home button isn't working
So what's working?

...still testing only ad like 2 minutes even though I said I had ten minutes earlier...had to flash it too in that ten minutes

there you go, i will make a thread for it as soon as i feel it is stable enough...there are way too many bugs right now...feel free to report any, just dont keep repeating the same ones, and dont ask for etas, im doing this in my free time, im in highschool so school comes first, im also supporting a rom for the samsung infuse so that comes after school then this comes after that rom
so i work on this when i have free time...if you find any info you may think is helpfull please feel free to share it...im open for any and all help

Sorry, still new with this. Didn't realize CM builds didn't have an option to add stock launchers. Not that I want sense (no pin intended)

Yeah, basically its aosp with cool features and mods added...so everything stock is removed
BTW, tomorrow my plan is to do some major debugging...see if I can pin point some problems like data and home button and calls but for now I go to bed...gotta wake up in 6 hours for school :/

Alright...trying some new things...let's see if they help the vivid, OK basically I'm using the msm common file (basically similar HTC devices all use this...) any ways I noticed they had there own modified version and I noticed they had done some edits to fix camera for them...so I'm gonna use there msm common tree...another thing I'm using the qcom audio, they did some edits to get audio working...(both the trees mentioned are from the sensations working cm10 build)
If anything improves then I'll keep them, if things improve and break other stuff I'll go back, and then manually change the files I think need to be changed

since i got the vivid I have not even bother to download any roms.. . but CM9 / CM10 ... i would definitely go for
had cm7 on my mt4g loved it...
get it done mg2195 and i would sell a kidney ( not mine of course)

Anytime. I have been on the xda boards since the first android phones came out. Have been a rooter/flasher forever. Gotta get some more posts in so I can finally post in the Development sections lol. I have had everything evo that sprint has pushed out and I have to say by far this is my favorite one. I am going to learn to use the kitchen just because of this phone!

It is a modified version of it... not as good as the stock version IMHO

While surfing through the net I found something really interesting for our Nexus 5. It's titled as Maru OS by the original developers. It was the first time I heard about it, so I thought I'll paste it here so that people get to know more about it and if someone has used it, they might share the experience. We all are waiting eagerly, my friend. He said he'll give links to people in batches as to when they subscribed. I hope I'm not too far down the list.
I only signed up 10 days ago so I should be in the last batch but hopefully the batches are large and the site is capable of handling the traffic when the links are live
BTW
I been using Debian for the last 3 years on my PC so I'm really looking forward to having it instead of android for carrying round
Also i wonder if the Debian screen could be output via Chromecast/miracast think I will have to email and ask

I just got my beta links but will need to download files read the documentation and flash it then I can come back with some first impressions but I'm still waiting for my slimport cable to arrive so can't test the Debian side for a few more days

First impressions are good not laggy ships with google play but no other google apps has a nice boot animation
Will upload that in a bit need to root it first
Now some screenshots
And no it does not output via chromecast
Also Chromecast app eBay and play music I had to install from play store

I flashed it yesterday and it looks promising... today I will try the dashboard mode as the cable I have it was not working with the Nexus.
