PS: sorry for the horrible English, I am Brazilian and I'm using google translator
All 3 can't have failed. Are you sure you're not doing something wrong?
I do not know, could someone pass me the step by step procedures?
is there any way to delete the entire contents of the phone memory by a program?

when entering in BL mode the device
USB\VID_0BB4&PID_00CE\5&2EEFBCF&0&3
(Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM) doesn't get a driver from Windows Update and the ruu can't communicate with the device.
Where can I find such driver (the one for windows vista should work)
Thank you.
Install Windows Mobile Device Connect (WMDC) v6.1 first.
obviously I already did it.
The device connects, the ruu gets the rom version, the user hits next, the device enters in bl mode, after that the usb device attached changes to qualcomm.....and for that device the driver doesn't exist.
Mine went through fine using windows 7... Didn't need to install anything different or anything?!
Update using microSD is faster. Just unpack the rom package *exe & rename ruu_signed.nbh > RHODIMG.nbh > Copy to microSD root > Enter bootloader > Push power button > Wait > Soft Reset > Happy! (Just in case u forgot the step )

What did you do?
I simply attached the rhodium.
Windows downloaded automatically the device center 6.1 from windows update and installed it (along with the driver "generic rdnis" or something like that) and the pc recognized the phone. On xp you have to download manually activesync..but with seven everything was automatic...
I also tryed to uninstall wmdc and do it again..same results...
(Win 7 Home Premium RTM 6.1.7600)
Thanks for remembering me the steps for sd flash..but does this reset the phone? I'm actually using custom ruu (I'm just flashing the radio hotfix and I don't want to lose my data)

Your data is safe. Depends on RHODIMG.nbh u r trying to flash. In bootloader, u will see a list of existing images like splash,os, radio, etc.
If u r flashing radio image only, then ur data is safe. I did it a few days ago
Thank you...
I have another problem on Win7 : CustomRUU ask for the root permission then create usual files in its folder and finally theses files disapear, and that's all... I don't get any CustomRUU window
I have already :
-installed WMDC
-activated the .NET framework in the config panel (don't know if it's enough but usual installation files told me to do it...)
-uninstalled my antivirus software
-tried some compatibility modes...
Am I doing smth wrong ?

I just had this exact same problem when I tried to update the latest energy rom. When unzipped to a folder it had % signs and 2050 in the name of the folder. I just renamed the folder to energyrom without the % signs and it loaded the rom normally. With % signs in the name the program could not find its own location and terminated.
Hope this helps

The reason it had issues is because in Windows when you use %foldername% it thinks that it is a system variable. You should really change the settings on the program you use to decompress things. This is a really bad thing to have set.
Hm stupid error isn't it ? Thank you guys

0. Search and research.
1. Choose what version of Android you want.
2. there will be a download link, click and download the .zip/.rar/.7z
3. Once downloaded, extract the contents on your comp.
4. Copy them to your memory card, root folder, meaning no folder, directly on the memory card.
5. Disconnect your phone from the computer. From your File Explorer, run Haret.
6. Wait and enjoy Droid. First boot usually takes a longer while. Once you are into Android completely, restart and go back into Winmo, then again start Android.

How i solved my hangs: (happened to me with all versions i tried)
Go to settings -> wireless & network settings -> mobile networks -> uncheck "Data enabled", reboot.
if it hangs before you can get there, remove the sim card and try again.
I tried android on x1, but its really slow, and i want to try wm 6. 5 but i dont know how to flash it. Can someone write me the instructions? Thanks!
Hi,
here in the ROM section is a great thread with video instruction. -> click here <-
but before you can flash a ROM you must first HARDSPL your phone -> here's how <-
Finaly there are 2 ways to flash, one way is via SD card -> click here <- or via PC with active sync -> click here <-
I think via SD card is the simplest and easy way. But it is your choose
If you still have question ask me but before read the post of the threads I post you because they should answer your questions.
BTW: try to search for your problem, if you dont like the searchform in the forum use google: "<your problem in short words> site:xda-developers.com"
Thanks man

I guess he's still in android..
Can you enter the triple colored screen?(Put the phone off, remove battery for a sec, place back, press volume down, and then press the power button. KEEP IT PRESSED! then wait until you see the 3 colored screen)
If you can, keep it in that 3 colored screen, and then start the hard spl installer on the computer.
Yes i can, thank you!

Ok,i did and nothing.how can i fix it?
looks like your your phone isn't recognized by activesync (xp) or device center (vista & win7) on pc.
that's what "your phone needs to be synced!" in the instructions means. you don't have to set up a sync-partnership (contacts etc), it's enough if you can browse the phone from explorer.
if you can't get that to work, use sd-method:
download xperia078_2.zip from hardspl-thread, extract the ruu_signed.nbh, rename it to kovsimg.nbh and copy it to root of your sd-card. now enter bootloader and follow the instructions.
make sure that the file is named "kovsimg.nbh" only, not "kovsimg.nbh.nbh"!!!

You can find it "SDcard>xrecovery>backup" folder.
You can recover if you brick your phone. xRecovery must be working there.

If I'm not wrong, it should be stored in your SD card, in a directory called xrecovery (inside there should be another one called backup). If you did your backup with CWM, then the directory will be called clockworkmod.
You won't be able to extract or see its files unless you use a program called unyaffs.
If your phone is not "very bricked" you can access xRecovery or ClockWorkMod as you did the time you make your backup (pressing back button while booting) and restoring it. It's quite easy. Sometimes, it's also possible to repair it with Sony Ericsson's PC Suite.
If it is "very bricked" you should follow one of these guides:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=12442257#post12442257
You can find it "SDcard>xrecovery>backup" folder.

As I said, they are in your SD Card, so you can get them connecting your SD Card to your PC, or connecting your mobile phone to your PC so you can explore your SD Card files.
With your phone, you will only be able to see that they are there (with a file explorer), which is a bit useless.
Good luck
First post here, i hope it is the correct place.
Problem: i can't find how to get the files from my phone to make an .ftf file (no db folder in sony pc companion). Any help would be appreciated.
Phone: sony xperia t (lt30p)
Build number: 9.2.A.1.205
Easiest way is with the app XperiaFirm( find it in Sony Cross General forum)
The files from pc companion are hidden but i don't remember the correct folksy right now.

I've already used XperiaFirm, but every one that i've tried had outdated apps(probably from 2014) so it takes ages to update after flashing, and a lot of stuff i don't want. Takes me about two hours to flash and uninstall all the annoying xperia stuff, and i flash it about once a week since i have it because of my experiments with it. So i wanted to use the files from my phone to make my own updated .ftf without all those annoying xperia plugins etc(and share it somewhere here). My only problem is that i don't know how to get those files from my phone to my computer.
I've already installed latest sony pc companion and latest androxyde flashtool.
So:
1. Find a cleaner ftf(not from a operator) to have less bloatware. You can also root your phone( for me is a must in this phones) to remove some more apps you dont like.
2. Of course the apps will be outdated the last firmware by Sony is from 2014 so you can't expect updated apps. I dont think that's a problem.
3. If you want to make a ftf from pc companion with your firmware it will not include the apps you installed. It will be the same like downloading it with XperiaFirm
4. To keep your apps i think you need to make a custom rom and include the apps. So if you want to use it just flash the zip. But I dont know how to do that.
When twrp is flashed the phone will only enter recovery. But i foud that the system partition and data were still intact. I made a backup (make sure to store it on an micro-sd, so you can move the backup to computer) and once i had the backup on the computer, i only needed to change the extensions to .tar before unpacking them. Then i needed to archive them in order to make it a flashable zip(i used winrar). And add meta-inf folder before converting to zip.
Thanks krasimiretov for the idea to flash custom rom. Although it didn't work out, it made me find a way to do what i originally wanted.
