Sound problem during the call

Hi!
I've got a Dimond recently and a problem with it. After few days of working fine it stoped to reproduce the sound during the call. If I call to somebody he can hear me, but I can't hear anything (incoming calls also). If I switch on speaker - it works, if I plug in the handset - it works also. I've bought it in Germany, original ROM was - 1.37.407.2. I don't speka German, so I changed it to Elite 2.0 and it worked fine during few days... The main problem is that I'm in Ukraine, so I can't use official service to repair it. Please, help if you know what is wrong...

Did anybody face such trouble?

Few questions:
1. When you put it on loud speaker and it works, what happens when you switch it BACK to internal speaker - does it still work?
2. Have you reset the phone yet?
3. Maybe a hard reset is due?
4. What ROM/Radio versions do you have (start>settings>System>device information)

3. i do a hard reset but the problem not solve.

i have the same problem, on call there is no sound from both speakers (earpiece and loud speaker) all,
done the hard reset and update rom, still no good

Unfortunately I'm experiencing the same problem with my Diamond. No sound through the earpiece, people can hear me perfectly, no problems when using (bluetooth) headset or speaker. I've been looking around for a while but I can't find any proven solutions. Ultimately, people send their phone in for repair. It seems to be a hardware problem with the headset/no headset switch in the USB connector.
Anybody who had this problem and fixed it themselves?

My Diamond was having the same problem. Nobody in the forum achieved a solution until now. It seems to be a physical problem, not software. I changed the ROM several times without success. I can only replace the equipment. Now let's see what the next problem. This is the second time I return the unit.

Bell HTC touch and Bluetooth issues

Does anyone else have a problem with their BT and HTC touch? I have a motorola H700 and no one can hear me, but I can hear them. I tried pairing and repairing. I deleted it and added it as a new device. I have even tried the BT with another phone and it works with that phone with no problems, so I know it's my phone. Does anyone have a solutoin to this problem? I have the latest ROM update from HTC's website for a Bell HTC touch. Thanks.

I would suggest you take it back to the Bell store and get them to try a different headset and if it still doesn't work then they will have to exchange it for you.

I have tried another headset, LG and the same problem. I know have tried 2 motorola headsets and one LG. I still cannot get the mike working on the headset. I have tried a soft reset, hard reset, deleting and pairing my phone. I made sure mute was off and tried turning it on and off. I believe it has to do with a ROM update from HTC's website, but noone else seems to have this problem. I am using Bell. Can anyone else suggest anything for me to try?

I used it with an audiovox headset and my car receiver and it never fail me. Sometime I pressed on the phone answer button instead of the car answering button so people still hear me but I can't hear them.

Bell HTCH Touch and bluetooth issues
I have just encountered that same problem, hard reset, soft reset, did it all... I've tried 4 different bluetooth brands and everytime I can hear with them but noone can here me... this is very frusturating, has anyone found a fix for this? Definately has to be the phone here.

I have used a plantronics, and the BT in my car (Mitsu Lancer) without any problems.... are you using any ROM or just the default Bell??

I have both a Motorola H800 and a Plantronics headset. Both work with my touch and I have bell as well. I am using VIN'a last ROM. Maybe your phone

[Android] Wired Headset Mic Not Working On Calls

I know this was an known issue on the cupcake build, but I was hoping that it would be fixed in eclair. I've just installed 1.6 on my vogue. The microphone on my HTC OEM wired headset seems to work for voice activated calling and searching, but not when I'm in a phone call. the person on the other end can't hear a thing unless I unplug the headset. Is this still a known issue? I can't find an official list anywhere. Can anyone suggest a fix? Could another build work? Or is there some kind of patch? Thanks in advance for any help. I'll be one step closer to being WM free!

I face the same problem with my LG phone the wired headset doesn't work with my LG phone. but the same works with Motorola rocker. It could be the technical fault. You got contact the manufacturing company

The problem is that when making or receiving phone calls, no audio can be heard (audio is sent fine) - unless the speakerphone is enabled.
This problem appeared randomly at some point after it had been running a custom WM6.5 build for some time.
The exact same problem is now persisting under ANDROID.
Is this most likely a broken speaker or a software fixable issue?
I'm using the latest available radio and HARD SPL.
Anyone know a way to enable the speakerphone mode by default under ANDROID?

I've read in some threads that certain HTC phones have a problem where the USB port thinks that a USB headphone is plugged in and then disables the regular audio, seems the only remedy is jiggling the port which hasn't helped for me..
Is this the problem with my Kaiser?
Any fix or workaround, or at least software hack in Android to make the speakerphone default then

Have you hard reset or reflash?

I have hard reset and flashed different OS -
The problem 'appeared' after it was running fine for a long period of time though (with no configuration changes) - so I think that perhaps the problem lies with the mini usb jack as noted in post #2 - but i may be wrong?

The same problem with HTC Desire HD on a stock Android ROM 2.3.5 (no custom ROMS tried on this phone yet). Any idea? Any help?

Bluetooth help!

ok my problem is tryin to connect to a mercedes built in bluetooth system.
it'll recognize it sometimes but it wont really be in use.
when i try a call it'll still go through my friends phone instead of the car.
hes running the OTA 2.1 update
anybody have a solution or fix for it?
