Hello
So i saw there was a samsung update voor my galaxy i9100. I did it but it was stuck at 4%, so i pulled out the usb cable and now it won't start up. It start up with a connection error.
Anyone has an idea how to fix it. With odin maybe.
You mean i9000, right? If so check does it go to download mode and if so just flash stock firmware with pit and repartition (google around a bit).

Hi people,
I have just got a Galaxy Tab just for kicks. It's a P1000L brazilian one.
I want to unbrand it (it's Claro branded, the operator took out Gmail and Gtalk, also assigned search to Yahoo instead of Google), so I have talked to a friend which also has a Galaxy Tab, same model, but unbranded, all Google apps inside.
My FW is (or was ) P1000LVJJJ4, and his FW is P1000LVJJM9, so I went to this thread at TheGalaxyTabForum, downloaded the P1000LVJJM9 FW, PIT file and ODIN 1.3.
http://www.thegalaxytabforum.com/index.php?/topic/112-samsung-galaxy-tab-firmware-list/
I have read about the process and started doing it. Here's what happened.
I haven't checked the partition option, just put the PIT file and the FW file in the correct fields, put my Tab in download mode, clicked start... and after some time, almost at the end, ODIN failed. My Tab got stuck in download mode, yellow triangle. I got it disconnected from the USB cable, than put it again. Restarted the process, but ODIN got stuck in setup connection.
I took my Tab off the usb cable again, it was still stuck in download mode, yellow triangle. Pressed the power button for a while, it has turned off completely. Now it's bricked, maybe dead. No life signal, nothing happens when I press any button or button combination, nothing is shown when connected to the charger or USB, not recognized in KIES and ODIN, nothing at all.
Is there any hope for me? What can I do to solve this?
same problem here any help plz ?
Generally its a brick when it can't be recognized in Odin or Heimdall... This is because you can't flash anymore.... Best bet is to try a warranty repair....
Good luck...
so... anyone help me please?
Hello all,
Yesterday i was trying to update my friends SG Ace FW with odin, so i downloaded the right firmware.
The next thing i connected the galaxy ace to odin in download mode, i selected the firmware, and it got stuck at setupconnection in odin.
I tried changing the USB port and reinstall the samsung drivers but no luck at all.
The next thing i realized that i selected a wrong firmware, the samsung galaxy ace 5830(i) firmware which i had in the same oding foler earlier for another device.
So i selected the right firmware for the device, and it got stuck again in setupconnection mode, so i got bored from all of this, then i turned off the phone and turned it on, and the phone now shows a mobile and a pc with a yellow triangle in the middle.
The biggest problem that my friend needs the phone today. :/
So please help me guys.
Thanks.

Make sure you are using the right version of ODIN ...it should be v4.38

I am sorry if this is not the place for this topic and for my english.
I have a samsung galaxy pocket (s5300). Once upon a time I rooted it without using odin and it worked :cyclops:
After I tried some custom roms. But in the end I used my CWM Backup file to restore my original rom. But the damn thing just doesn't wanna connect to kies any more. Now I wan't to reflash it's stock firmware with Odin and I'm using a nokia cable (i know that I should use the real thing but it isn't sold in my country + in the begining I didn't have any troble with the cable and my father flashed an android 4.0.4 on his Samsung Galaxy Nexus using this same cable). So when i put my phone in download mode and connected it gives me unkown usb device. I downloaded the drivers installed them tried again, but the damn thing just doesn't assossiet with them.
Than I showed it the proper drivers manually ( you know device menager-->update driver-->sellect driver; you get the picture) and still nothing. And i really use Kies and wan't to fix the problem. What should I do.
PLS HELP!!!
Yes!
So the phone finaly diceded to connect while in download mode and I was able to reflash it. Sorry again if I posted on the wrong place.

If you can't get into download mode, that tab is hard bricked and will need a JTAG-based restore operation to return it back to operation. If you have a P1000, you could also attempt the Unbrickable Mod by Adam. It's somewhere on the forums. That requires extremely good soldering skills, to the point of removing an 0402? resistor. Services exist to help you with a JTAG restore for a nominal fee of about $50. I can't recommend any, but I'm sure Google can help you out.
did you find a solution to your issue? I flashed a wrong pit too with no where to go now.
