In this ROM works TV? thanks for all.

No. The thread title says that is a froyo kernel, and your tab is gingerbread.

so i can't change to froyo? srry again... like i said i m noob...thanks

You can go down to froyo to get the tv app, but there is a gingerbread kernel for your tab too. Just look a little farther for it. It is posted by the same friend, Humberos, I think.

[Q] wanna try custom roms.. help please D:

hi,
i am still pretty n00b when it comes to android, but i really wanna try and put a custom ROM on my I9000. i recently updated to the official 2.2 firmware via kies.
i've been snooping around and really like the look of Darky's v7 gingerbread edition 2.2.1 custom ROM, i was reading the instructions, and it said you need a kernel with recovery 2e by chainfire. i went on that forum and was looking, and i don't think there's one for my firmware.
my baseband is dtjp3 and build is dtjp5
when i was looking through CF-ROOT files, i couldnt find one that was like mine?
CF-Root-JPH-v1.0
CF-Root-JPH-v1.1
CF-Root-JPK-v1.1
CF-Root-JPM-v1.2-Busybox-1.15.3
CF-Root-JPM-v1.2-Busybox-1.17.1
CF-Root-JP6-v1.2-Busybox-1.15.3
CF-Root-JP6-v1.2-Busybox-1.17.1
CF-Root-JPJPA-v1.2-Busybox-1.15.3
CF-Root-JPJPA-v1.2-Busybox-1.17.1
CF-Root-XX_XEU_JPO-v1.2-Busybox-1.15.3
CF-Root-XX_XEU_JPO-v1.2-Busybox-1.17.1
CF-Root-XW_XEE_JPA-v1.2-Busybox-1.15.3
CF-Root-XW_XEE_JPA-v1.2-Busybox-1.17.1
CF-Root-XX_OXA_JPU-v1.3-BusyBox-1.15.3
CF-Root-XX_OXA_JPU-v1.3-BusyBox-1.17.1
sorry for the n00b question guys, would appreciate if someone could clear this up!
Do you have 3br? If so just flash different rom jpy for example is supported by cf then go to darkys rom this is the route i took.

[Q] New to all of this...

Hi I just got my Samsung Captivate and have already rooted it. I want to add a ROM to it (Most likely Phoenix 2.2.1)
I was wondering, do I need Froyo 2.2 to use this ROM, or will the ROM install that for me? Sorry if this is a dumb question but I'm honestly confused by the whole thing
Thanks for your help
The rom gives you 2.2.1. Make sure you read, read, read
I did read but its a very confusing thread ^_^
Thank you for your help though!
I talking about everything in general. Read. God luck

Put your phone in Download Mode by pressing vol. down + Home when powering up. Download Odin, put the 512 pit, pda, phone and csc files from JVQ, check re-part and hit start.

You have boutloader with jvq 2.3.4.sbl. But before, install samsung sgs driver itself or kies. Read some guides in developement and q&a sections of forum, Or try androidguys webpage. Exist wide explanation there.
All you need is this -- http://www.theandroidsoul.com/new-a...-for-galaxy-s-i9000-xxjvq-installation-guide/
If you had searched your OWN words -- STEP BY STEP GUIDE on how to flash the XXJVQ -- you would have got the same results on Google !!! Always use Google search and never put this in Android development section of any phone you ever use.
Thank u everyone!!!!! I nw hav gingerbread hehe and rooted and i searched on xda forums only thats why perhaps i had no results but m really sorry and thankfull....thanks everyone

[Q] Iam New here pls help

hello every one iam just got my S I9000 ( not plus ) i want links for tutorials about how to root my phone and get the newest baseband and i want link for the best kernel and rom ( best rom in graphics/speed/games )
thanks in advance
First of all, there's no such thing as the best rom - it's like trying to compare apple and oranges and saying one's better than the other. I usually recommend people to start with stock-based roms (so no AOKP or cyanogen mods) simply because it's closer to the stock rom and usually to flash.
As for rooting your phone, if you are already planning to flash a new rom, there's not much point in rooting it now. All custom roms are rooted. If still want to learn to root (which might actually be a good starting point), you need to tell us what firmware you are currently on.
thx for replay and my firmware 2.2.1
and my baseband t959uvka7

thats not an i9000 thats a tmobile vibrant...
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm goood
Trying to flash a I9000 rom on a Vibrant will most likely brick the thing. Better to start looking in the Vibrant section instead. Good thing Paul spotted it.
his mob is tegra ?? he have the same mob like mine and i dunno where's my section !!! should i just search for any vibrant t-mobile section ??
