Cannot find the one you mentioned

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1088159
It was posted under HTC Sapphire: myTouch 3G, Magic myTouch 3G, Magic Android Development > SuperAosp 6.4.
But it also works for G1.

Thanks for your reply but I found it a 2.3 based rom.
Actually, I think 2.3 is just to demanding for G1

Yes it is a 2.3.x base and it will keep going up. currently the ROM is at 6.4.2.
It is not demanding as far as I know. I am currently using the base 6.4 and getting ready to upgrade to 6.4.2 (for basic fixes).
But that is up to you.
Even with the 2.1 base I think it's still demanding.

This thread has a rooted version of the stock T-Mobile donut build, and if you install the added expansion pack, it includes apps2sd and other features like tether, you can read all about it or download it here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=538456

That vers. of Fennec requires ARMv7 cpu, it won't work on Tattoo (ARMv6).
Try this one: http://bit.ly/aQ22MP
Tried it on my fyodor Rom and must say its a long way to go. You simply end moving the screen from one end to another as it does not support the tattoo resolution. And browsing takes time. But it carries hope to be better I feel.

[Q] G1 rom with flash player, a2sd?

I am currently running kingklicks sapphiresense 1.4 and loving it, except the Bluetooth is broken and a2sd, if present, is, um. .. strange. Anywho, I want a new Rom. I need a working flash player and a2sd. Sense would be nice, but not a necessity. I just love the looks and speed. Sense wit& working Bluetooth would be a godsend. However, I will gladly take sense over Bluetooth if I must choose. I own a US T-Mo G1 with DEATHSPL and amon_ra 1.7.0 . I believe I'm running the minimum radio for deathspl, but I'm willing to reflash. Also, if there's a kernel that can enhance the Rom you reccomend, please do tell. Thank you!

As far as i know I know theres no way to get flashplayer on G1. The hero has Flash player 10 built in. I'm not sure if the devs take that out of the rom though but it's worth a try. The G1 wasn't really meant for flash.

Try just about any hero sense rom by kingklicks. Flash support is amazing, but apps2sd is busted.

Hey can anyone make stable android 2.3 os on g1?

At least with wifi, gps, bluetooth file sharing working &audio.
Camera & Video recording and google apps as well.
A2sd Integrated.
Anything else beyond that is a plus.
He does this on the HeroC forums too. He still doesn't get how deving works.
Wasn't it announced that 2.3 is too large to fit on the g1's memory? Froyo just barely fits...

if you look in the g1 dev section you will see there are some full 2.3 roms there try them out and see if they fix for what you are looking for
there are about 3 gb roms are being developed in the G1 dev section
- ezGingerbread
- CM7 unofficial
- COS-DS
ezGingerbread works just fine. Use the ADS MagPie build. It can be found in AnDisa or Firerat's sig.

2.3.7 to 2.1?

Alright, so I've been searching around for a few hours now with no luck on this. I'm a bit new to all this and haven't really messed with my Hero in about a year except for updating Cyanogenmod every now and then.
I'm currently running CM7 and was trying to get my HTC Hero (CDMA) back to stock (or at least to a point where I can use HTC Sync). I've tried flashing a few ROMs, but I either get stuck in a boot loop or they fail to install. I'm not sure if I'm right in saying this, but is it because I'm running 2.3.7 and trying to install older ones from 2.1? I've looked for guides on how to downgrade, but I can't seem to find any; almost everything I find is really outdated.
I don't necessarily need to go to 2.1 if I can flash a ROM that allows me to access HTC Sync, but I haven't had much luck finding that either. If someone could point me in the right direction or tell me where I'm going wrong I would greatly appreciate it.
htc sync is just the software that installs all your drivers automatically but if your on an aosp rom you can still install them individually. If you really want to go to stock that badly id just use nfx stock its rooted but still completely stock.
The reason I was trying to get a ROM with HTC Sync was so I could use a method from theunlockr website (it won't allow me to post a link).
Anyway, I finally managed to flash Zero Hero Sense to it, but it runs so slow. I now have HTC Sync on it and I'm pretty sure I know how to unroot it from here, but I was wondering before I do if there is a stable 2.3 ROM that is really quick; I'm only searching for performance.
Kushdeck or jaybob are the fast, But using Aosp's 2.2 version 9.9.2 was the fastest compared to any other rom I've used.

Thanks! Trying them now.
with zero hero it seems to me you need to let it run for a little while, mine smoothed out after about a day of running it and is actually quite snappy for a rom that should max out our devices
or you can try cyanogenmod stable, its quite fast

Yeah, that's what I originally had on there, but I wanted some kind of change. I've got jaybob on there now and I enjoy it; very simple.
Maybe I should try leaving zero hero on there a bit longer, I really liked the look of it.

this rom is superb. no force closes and runs snappy and beautiful
since it's gingerbread i'd suggest installing another keyboard.
froyo's keyboard was so much better

I've been using Kushdeck and loving it so far so it has my vote between deck and jaybob.
Zero Hero Sense gets my vote!
