As it says in the title i'm needing the 606 ril, I have tried the LG Getril but didn't work.
Also I think there should be a post with all RILS on, the same as the BB, instead of looking everywhere for individual ones
606 works fine will Lg getril, did you gave it root rights?

Sorry to hijack this thread.
I just updated the BB to 622 and then installed FR19.
Only just found about LG Get Ril and it says I have 614.
If I update the RIL with your flashable zip will it go back to stock? Tried downloading 622 europe open RIL through the app but it doesnt seem to have been updated
Dont fancy sorting backups etc so soon after all is done but know its important to have a matching RIL and BB

The RIL we all talking about is a file called "lge-ril.so". It is in /system/lib
Hence it is safe to replace and will not wipe anything. Feel free to grab the file from my mediafire folder and flash it from cwm.

Hi guys,
I just recently flashed the 1035.21_20110405 baseband...
My phone came with the 20110218 baseband.
However, after flashing the baseband, i seem to have data connectivity and GPS problems.
GPS cannot lock me on even after 5 minutes. (i stopped trying after that)
Data also occassionally disconnects itself, and seems to reset the sim as though the phone just booted [but it doesn't] request the sim pin])
I've seldom had this when i was with the 20110218 baseband.
Does anyone have the 20110218 baseband or know how to check the phone's supl setting???
Did you also flash the new RIL? I think [email protected] has made an update.zip for stock, if that's what you're running.

Hm. I'm on fr12 as well, and though I don't use gps much, I've never had problems getting a fix.
I do use the EternityProject 1.3 kernel, but I'm not sure if that would make a difference...

Just flashed the new baseband and RIL and saw your post. Started Sygic Aura inside by my window and fix within 5 sec. And don't seem that I have problems with datacomms either... sorry
I have a problem with GPS, too. I am in VietNam, Rom Fr12

Hey guys!
I can't post in development forums so I'll ask here. I've just updated my 2x to Euro open V10d 0725 version with smartflash. Everything went smoothly but now I have bb 1035.21_20110725 and LGE LGP990-V10c.
How come it is C instead of supposed D?
I've used paul's smartflash method and I've choosen fls file. Should I do it again with bin file? What have I done wrong?

you can flash the bb independant from the system and thats why you have c and not d. if you want to flash the system you need the bin file.

Would I gain anything significant if I flash the bin file as well? Is the proccess the same? Under same select box in the program?

In 1box put bin file in 2 put the other file. For me it works great

What i meant was i had faulty stock rom with 0622 bb and then flashed only bb to 0725 and it didn't fix anything because i still had faulty vol.c. but when i flashed open europe vol d and 0725bb from then on every thing works great

Yes it has 4g, its the same phone. I installed the 21b on mine though and dont know how im gonna install the rogers update when its released tomorrow. Hope someone can get the kdz file.

Just flash a froyo kdz.. It will detect it's not up to date and automatically flash rogers firmware... well I think lg made it this way...

And rogers isn't know to be giving roms that arent fullpatchhypersuperblocked so I wouldn't say it's going to be that easy.. welll if rogers is on eastern time it's only 15min away to know it

Hi guys! can anyone tell me where I can find stock LG 2X 2.3 mms.apk? I searched all over the forum but I found only the Froyo version.
Could this be achieved by downloading a Gingerbread ROM from the Dev section and simply opening the .zip folder and removing the .apk from the ROM package?
Iv looked in this location before for other apps but never taken any files out so not sure if this will work this easily??

No, I dont know if this method works as I have never attempted this before.
I also havent seen it mentioned anyone on here that, that method is possible. To be honest though, as long as youve made a backup through CWM then if anything goes wrong just restore the backup. Also if its only an .apk file and he fails to installed the phone will stop the process so nothing will happen.
What i have just said are only thoughts which havent been tried or tested.

My lg optimus 2x freezes when i use 2G network? It's freezes or rebooting, sometimes i need reflash rom or use backup, this problem broke my system, when it's running on orginal rom or some of v20 rom edition's.
And the 2nd problem is that what i cant use last 15-20% battery power its freezes. This isue is on all rom's...
It's device h/w problem or software problem?

Tried to change the Baseband and RIL combination....it is one of the major reasons...
CM 7 is best in BB218 and RIL combo...(some have good results in BB823 too)RIL should be only Froyo versions and not GB.
Go to android market, install the application called GetRIL.
Select the most suitable ril and flash. It should help with the signal!

No, no, what you need to do is to select RIL corresponding to your Base Band so the bst course of action is to install "recommended" one or one of equivalents. Please note that sometimes even equivalents may make problems - I had to install a few of them until I matched the one that worked the best.

Never had any problems and just used recommended RILS.
just press VOL up with power button
Ok, maybe its works, but i have been change everything, no change, its freezes on call on 2G internet and when the battery had 15-20% its freezes, i think its hardware problem
