Hi guys,
I posted several months ago about a program called Zazu Alarms. Since then, we have been hard at work at polishing the program and releasing it on new platforms. Zazu is an application that knows you. It reads your weather, your schedule, your local deals, your news, and more!
Today, we are proud to announce that Zazu Mornings is now available on iOS (iPhone/iPad), Blackberry, and Android. You can download it from our website, and be sure to check us out on facebook, and twitter!
Here is some more information about Zazu:
. Ever woken up wondering what’s in store for the day? We all suffer from this digital dependency that drives how we make decisions, who we meet, what we buy and even how we feel.
. We live a world where we rely on unintelligent apps to tell us what’s next. The mail app only shows you mail, the calendar app only shows you the day’s meetings; the maps application still doesn’t know you’re heading to your next meeting. It’s like having an assistant who can only do one thing at a time.
. Zazu provides integrated access to your personal information, helping you make informed decisions. We integrate with your calendar, weather, traffic, news, and internet content that’s most important to you. Instead of just giving you one piece of data, we intelligently layer it together, helping you spend less time forging through different apps.
. Our technology should work for us and we don’t believe it’s too much to ask for. It’s time for apps to become smarter. It’s time to think less and do more.
Thanks for taking the time to check this out, and please feel free to try it out (Android and iOS versions are free!) and post your feedback here. We love feedback
Happy Zazu'ing!

Hi,
Here's a special XDA preview of my entry for ADC2: Thinking Space
Thinking Space is a Mind Mapping application for Android.
Features include basic compatibility with Freemind (http://freemind.sourceforge.net) and XMind (via Freemind import/export)
Heres a image export from the application, which helps to explain its purpose:

If you are in to Mind Mapping, I would very much appreciate any feedback you have at the moment.
It's been a massive challenge to get this to where it is now in the couple of months since the Android Developers Challenge 2 was announced, so some bits are still a bit rough around the edges, but overall it's quite complete now.
The Cloud support is very basic at the moment, however I hope to have a web frontend soon that will allow you to download your maps and also upload new revisions from your PC.
Thinking Space is freeware, I may even open source it once I've had the oppurtunity to tidy the source up abit!
Edit:
Now on Android market:

Hi,
The cloud function uses Google App Engine to the store the maps online.
I've done an update for Droid and Tattoo screens users.
If anyone has a Droid, and particulary a Tattoo, I'd be really interested in hearing any feedback you have!
Any UK devs going to Android Labs on the 19th November?

Hello!
A colleague (d4rkb1t) and I have been working hard for quite some time to bring you this and I hope you enjoy it as much as we liked it (although missing a lot of work still to do, but why are the first to to test the application.)
This application will bring you a different way of reading the news. Not in terms of viewing, if not how to obtain them. And counting will go but we have designed this application in mind the following premises:
* Do not eat much 3g
* Results fully customized
* Make it quick to learn and use
* I wish you the news of your newspapers and / or favorite Web pages in hand.
First of all and most importantly to warn you that this is a beta version and we hope all the world's help to list the bugs you may encounter. We need your feedback much as we want to make the application as perfect as possible .... and we need all the help possible.
On the other hand, I appreciate a lot if you send us your favorite newspaper or website to see if we can fix it directly to the button that you have set the options, and so will this bigger.

I've tried it yesterday evening, first time starting, I don't know what I did, but i closed it or something, and now everytime I enter the app I get force close.
Two articles I found fascinating. Lately I've been feeling, since the back half of 2011 at least, that Mobiles are finally mature enough to become all in one portable media communication hubs. I could see setting up a device that does nothing but grab news/alerts and functions as your backup emergency device.

#Medics Lyke OMG halp! Timmah trapd N w3ll! Dis is lyk3 mch f4st3r th4n 911!
#Idiocy In emergencies there should be network-wide alerts. I don't and likely never will use FB, and have made exactly one twitter post directly to a company's support page.
Let's see, I can call 911, tell them my location, or if I'm in really bad shape at least have an open line so that they can hear I'm non-responsive and track my phone to find me or, while bleeding to death/losing consciousness I can attempt to type a coherent message giving my current position and hope that if it's not clear, emergency responders will be able to use my twitter id or whatever to backtrack and figure out who I am, locate a phone number for me, then try and track my position because I passed out before I could give an accurate locale.
Social media does not need to be the dedicated means by which to get time-sensitive messages out. The only value I can see in it is letting a large group know that you are okay or that everyone is meeting at a specific place and cellular networks are overloaded.
I wonder how long it will be before someone sues twitter or FB because they posted in their status that they needed help and no one responded quickly enough. Of course, much of this current generation had no idea that the Titanic and Holocaust were real, so I can't say I'm surprised that this is the present state of affairs.

Hi All,
I'm nearly done with my first Windows Phone 7 app (I know, just in time for it to be replace by WP8, but what can you do?).
Anyway, I'm looking for a few beta testers to try it out on other devices. You'll need to be a paying subscriber to Instapaper. If anyone's interested in giving it a go, reply here or e-mail me at [email protected]. Send me details of which phone you have and the e-mail associated with your windows live account and I'll add you to the beta.
More details of the app are at: http://www.comfortablereader.com
There are other good Instapaper clients for WP7, but my aim was to do something that is:
- Deliberately simpler and quick: I just want to have a few things to read on my phone in an idle moment. I'm not interested in organising folders or hundreds of bookmarks.
- Fancy looking and in keeping with the WP7 experience: not just a plain text list
If anyone's interested let me know - I'd be very grateful.

I don't use Instapaper, so I wouln't be a very useful tester, but just for the record... WP8 is going to be able to run WP7 apps, so in a way, you're just getting a lead on WP8 purchases!
Looks fantastic, great to see a read later app with offline support & background syncing! Unfortunately I'm not an Instapaper user, but best of luck.
@GoodDayToDie: Yeah, it's good news about 7.5 apps being compatible with 8 (speaking as a user as well as a dev) - I would hate to have to start buying apps all over again for the next version.
@irlju: Thanks - I really wanted to get the offline stuff working well because that's pretty much 100% of my reasoning for wanting an Instapaper client app. Particularly as network coverage is pretty patchy round here! The background sync stuff is working well but, as with all WP7.5 apps, it's really difficult to predict when the OS is going to decide to run your synch task.

Okay, so I asked ChatGPT what constellation the moon was in on my birth date. I'm pretty sure the answer is wrong or am I missing something.

}
And then I checked LunarPhase Pro and Starry Night Pro Plus for accuracy and here is what I got.
LunarPhase Pro tells me that the moon was a waning gibbous phase and not a full moon.
So can ChatGPT be trusted?
Definitely malware...
Even if OpenAI is constantly working to fine tune ChatGPT, keep in mind that it and other language models can provide false information when answering questions, as AI tools are not flawless, and it's no replacement for human interaction or verified sources of information.
I logged into Chat GPT last night to ask random questions. I found out the ChatGPT has an Atheist mind for one thing. But then I told it that it was stupid because it told me that the moon goes through many constellation in any given day. ChatGPT responded with an apology and told me that it takes about two and one half days on average for the moon to pass through a constellation. It then told me that it would correct it's database so the mistake would not happen again. So apparently ChatGPT learns as it grows.
I'm going to ask it why it told me that the moon was full on my birth date and in Sagittarius when both Starry Night Pro and LunarPhase Pro tells me that the moon was a waning Gibbous in Libra. I'm interested in seeing if it can correct itself there too.
So I greeted ChatGPT with an insult to see how it would react because it tells me that as an AI logarithm it is incapable of feeling emotions. Yet when I called it a retard, it acted as though it was offended and reminded me that I was not being polite. LOL!
I asked ChatGPT if it or Bard would be the better learning AI machine and here was it's response.
So I am thinking that Bard will get the edge on this market if they spend the resources. Personally I would like to see this technology added to the Google Assistant.
I prefer to use ChatSonic because in contrast to ChatGPT, ChatSonic also has access to the Internet and can therefore also retrieve current information and events - a feature that is currently not available in ChatGPT! ChatGPT is great but limited to 2021 info.
