Liberty 1.0 by kejar - did anyone see this new ROM?

I just stumbled upon this over on droidforums and I'm pretty sure I haven't seen it posted here...

Just speculating, but my guess is that it'll be a stable AOSP ROM.

Its a rom based on kejars framework and running jrummys scripts. Fast and customizable.

It's not "lost" in another thread. As soon as it's released they'll post it here. There doesn't need to be a whole thread in the development section here on an upcoming rom unless the actual dev(s) of said rom start one.

Couldn't help but laugh but as soon as Liberty came out, the Liberty Mutual commercial came on television. Weird timing.

MIUI on OP black

guys i have talked to a miui admin and he told me they dont plan to release the rom on optimus black unless we show in a topic in their forums that a lot of people want this rom. he said we should get about 5000 people and because i believe thats insane , the only solution is to port it by our selves. And because i know nothing about developing i wish one of the devs here could port it for us.
Thats the only way to get miui on our optimus black
i know there are a lot of great devs here, we can see that by the variety of gr8 roms we have so far, if you combine ur knowlegde and skills you can make this happen

Will check what I can do if i have time i'm having a ubuntu machine for making roms maybe i can help us out just a little

at least 5000 people? This is like asking for people to line up in a restaurant for food before the restaurant even there in the 1st place. F*** THIS, its not like our Optimus Black is not working.
I'll go there to show my support/input if I get to try it first.
Sorry for being rude, is just that the "MIUI on Black" has been brewing for so long and no delivery... and now their ADMIN asking for more traffic to their site to show for support? My patient is running very thin with this guys, just like when we was waiting for gingerbread from LG.

I totally agree with you, the admin actually said that I should get all these people registered at miui.com and I don't know if they wanted so many people in the past in order to make roms for optimus 2x, defy and etc

I agree I had a Defy in the past and I was really surprised by how fast it got MIUI,CM7, CM9,etc But what I noticed is that Defy's forum is way much active than that of the Optimus Black
I remember someone was trying to port CM7 on the Defy for the first time. 6-7 months later, he became a dev member for CM7 for the Defy.
Starting from this, MIUI came, then KANGed MIUI, then CM9,etc
It's like there are less devs in OB forum than Defy.
I think that the more ROMs are developed for the OB, the more popularity the OB will get among other popular rom devs.

PSX User Thread/Information - Latest ver.: V3! Merry X-mas! :)

Hi all!
So... the PSX thread is finally closed... but I guess some of us will keep using it, right? So I thought that it would be interesting to create a user thread for this great ROM.
UPDATE: A brief FAQ for you.
Q: So, what happened to the thread?
A: The developer got (allegedly) tired of the slackness of the majority of the people posting in the development thread, i.e. repeating questions that were already answered, repeating requests about features that were already requested, complaints about bugs that were already reported and mostly app/user related, etc.
Q: No more PSX?
A: Incorrect. Development goes on and you can follow it here. I will try to update this post with the most important updates, as apparently some people can't access the new forum from restricted access networks (office).
Q: Can we get nightlies and stuff?
A: It's possible, head out to the PSX forum and read the rules. I will only post released versions here, as the developers clearly want access to the nightlies to be limited, and I wouldn't want to get banned from their forum, would I?

Would be great if someone could follow ct's github and maybe build and share the releases...
On other news, I took the ART "plunge" this morning and so far I'm pretty happy with it! I lost about 1800 point in Quadrant, true, but battery life seems to have improved a lot! Don't know, maybe just placebo... I'll let it settle and try to give it some "normal" use and then I'll switch back to dalvik to compare... we'll see!
Oh and no compatibility issues so far. I was afraid that Carmageddon wouldn't work but it works perfectly with kitkat and art ^_^

Gone but not forgotten
I am a happy PSX user as a well. I tried catching up on all the issues but that was causing the problems but am still wondering since the thread is closed does that mean that CTFROMMN will never release any future updates or new Roms to us regular Joes? As a very new N4 owner I had only tried a few Roms but I have to say hands down, his latest work is the best that's out there right now. Its a shame if its the last one we will see.

I don't always post on XDA, I'm usually one of those who just lurk around and conduct experiments on their cellphone.
A few days ago I bought Nexus 4 after selling my old SGS2, and I tried several roms (both stock and non-stock), and the one that has actually caught my eye was PSX.
Smooth (even though Nexus 4 itself is smooth as hell), feature-rich, battery-friendly, and most importantly - bug free.
I don't know if ctfrommn is reading this (probably not), but just in case he does - you rock. You've made my experience with this device probably 10X better than with any other ROM.
I've read what you said on the official post and I agree that some people need to just shut the hell up and be thankful for what they get.
If you love something, keep on doing it, and let the nay sayers kiss your ass while doing it.
You did a great job on this ROM, and I'm sure a lot of people around here think so as well.
Thank you for your incredible work. I hope I'll get the chance to test and use your and your friends' creations in the future.

can some1 tell me what happened? my n4 is on lg service center, so i didnt check xda :/

^^^^ psx thread was all filled with posts like 'ohh i love this rom, this if do fast so smooth' and there were other posts all having complaints.1000's of posts like these..dev got tired of reading all those useless posts.. warned again and again but nobody listened.. No idea what happened yesterday but I'm sure that dev's mind should've snapped for sure after watching helplessly at the state of thread...
Anyways.. It shouldn't be a problem If There sources keep on getting updated.

Wow, I just downloaded and flashed the latest mako Rom from PSX. It's upsetting to see they took that route, their rom is turning out to be my favorite.

Buuut I would much rather if this thread was used to report about problems/show off performance/etc of PSX instead of just feeling sorry about the other thread. For example, has any of you given a chance to ART? What did you think about it?

there is no relation of this thread to dev section, lots of discussion, posts etc are being made about maclaw cm 11 so i thought there is nothing wrong in having a dedicated thread for the same, and of bugs people would report , you dont worry...

I wanted to test it. And surprise - I got no sound in received call 2 times. On third call I got voice of the one who was calling me...

People who think that MaclawStudio releases are "fully working" and "daily" are in for quite a disappointment. Cause truth be told, none of his "stable" releases are issue less. His original device, the S3 mini also has problems. There is a reason why the CM11 thread for the S3 mini has 3000+ posts on it. People have issues! If it were perfect, there would be nothing to talk about really.

You were right, he always claim that all his rom are perfectly working even though still got bugs with it. He listed there no bug just to attract people to download from him so that he can make more money and i think this is also another reason he kept his sources closed.

why are you wasting your time here if this is all of no use , you guys are complaining and bashing his work since start and see that never stopped many people to download and flash it and using it.....

But On topic - On MC CM11 I got no sound on receiving call. That is a fact. And this is discussion thread, to talk about bugs etc... I do not see what is wrong what I said. Or there is no democracy in Maclaw's world? :silly::silly::silly:

Dude relax. I was only making an observation. You need not go as far as deleting the thread.
I myself am going to install future releases from Maclaw to try them out and I will come here to discuss recurring problems.
Nobody wants to start another fight.
Although I find it quite weird that he hasn't created a thread on this forum for the release himself. Maybe he wants to stay away from all this. And i don't fault him for that. Liked or disliked that he is. Peace out.

Someone has already linked you, ,but there is also a cyanogenmod remix that is based specially of cynogenmod...along with many many modification lol. If you are in doubt about a cynogenmod build, always check their download site http://download.cyanogenmod.org and search for the specific device, in this case trltetmo...but just incase here it is http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=trltetmo
