The LG OTA updates app and remote assistance services got their debut in Korea and now LG is making it clear it will offer the same services widely to Europe, the Asia Pacific region and South and Central America throughout the second half of the year to its premium line of Optimus smartphones - the Black, 2X and 3D.

Are you sure of that?
expansys France set the availability to begin of april....
Finland and Norway
From my sources:
Poland will come this week, or beginning of the next one!
Uk has it already ? 0_o
I think it would be a good Idea to indicate a network/company/website that offers the handset and provide a link to them. For the UK I think eXpansys (£449.99) is one of the options and mobiles.co.uk also take preorders and offer quite a few deals on different networks.

Hi guys, I'm just wondering if O2X can be used with any provider around the world or not. Because I will study in Korea and I need to make sure that O2X compatible with local provider there. Thankies.
Ooh, yeah. FYI, I live in Indonesia. But soon I'll go to South Korea. Can anybody here enlighten me?
Quarter million of LG Optimus 2x units was sold in South Korea in the first month of sales there. So I think your phone should be compatible there.
Thank you. You've been a delight.

South Korea has a different version of the optimus 2x called the P660(it's a little different, it has a DVB-T tuner and a different set of keys).
Better look up the bands supporter by the P990/P660 to make sure they're the one your carrier (or the one's you're thinking if using it with) uses.

I think you meant the SU660. South Korea appears to only have 3G 2100. I checked the SU660 internal manual and it appears to only have 2100.
they both (p990&su660) has same band
so i think u can use ur 2x there
Yes. You can Use.
if you have trouble with 3g, you should setting apn.
Hello everyone I'm new to android and was wondering what are the (title) except the extra app and bookmarks. I heard GB has been released for 2 weeks now but I didn't get it yet. I bought a subsidized phone on Vodafone (Romania). I saw on a site that subsidized phones have different product codes or w/e they are called, so they can only receive updates from the operator . If so is there any way to change that so that i receive updates from LG and not the operator? I'm sorry if anything similar has been posted but I didn't find anything.
Just flash it?
Sent from my Optimus 2X using XDA App
You can flash the Euro /Romania Open ROM or you can wait until 21 nov when LG claims they will release the VDF RO update.
If you decide to force the update, here are some hints
Thanks for the useful info, but I was wondering what exactly dosen't let me do the normal update?
Hello,
I spoke with someone from LG Romania and he said that Vodafone (for P990) and Orange (for Black) have to approve the update. There is no difference between Branded and Unbranded O2x.
You can see the discussion here: http://www.facebook.com/lgnews (see the wall post that announces Gingerbread)
Ah great, I got it thanks for info.
EDIT: I thought VF will modify the software somehow
Hi, do you know or something leak about the pre-order in Europe ? In Germany and Belgium it's still showing that "this device isn't available in this country" ..

699 Euro on Amazon Italy:
http://www.amazon.it/Motorola-Google-Nexus-Smartphone-Italia/dp/B00OLSTJR2/
Same in France, however one of the three big operators, Bouygues, has posted on its Facebook page a few days ago that it will carry the phone. When asked by the press about the dates, they said from "around" mid November while the other two operators said that they won't be carrying the phone.
If I'm to speculate, I'd say that the uncertainty regarding either the release or the price is due to negotiations Google possibly started late with each European country's operators. It seems to me and it's mostly a wish, that the price supposedly leaked earlier this month from the inventory of a German store is more plausible; that honest €569. If so, then that's great and much better than the other speculated €649.
Anyone got any news about availability on the UK
Just this at the moment.

Hey guys,
I'm really intested to get the galaxy watch 3 but sadly in Germany they don't offer the ecg/BP yet. If I buy a watch from a US store, let it ship overseas and activate it in Germany will I be able to use those functions?
There is no BP yet but you do get ECG. If you want everything SPay, BP, ECG and such use the Brazil ZTO firmware.

I don't know the answer to this. The issue is also to check if you have LTE support for watch bought in USA as well if you choose this version.
I know for example where I live on GW3 they will not get ECG and BP in the future so buying in a different market or changing csc is relevant for me as well.
It seems sideloading ECG/BP with the latest firmware is now not so easy.
You can buy the watch in Germany. When you setup the watch you can choose a different region, e. g. Spain. Spain supports BP, ECG, spO2, and Samsung Pay.
I bought my watch in Holland (same problem, no functions released yet, except spO2) and got everything working by choosing Spain as region.
Please do make sure the watch is intended for the German Market. Some retailers import watches from abroad. If the country they imported the watch from is not part of the group of countries Germany and Spain are part of, you get stuck. In Holland, e. g. Coolblue only sells products intended for the Dutch market and are quite reliable. BOL and Amazon work with 3rd party retailers who import from abroad and are not reliable in this aspect. Coolblue is also active in Germany.
You can also buy directly from Samsung.de,which shouldn't give you a problem either.

Some had complained they couldnt see one or the other. Wasn't aware all functions work with Spain CSC as Brazil ZTO had official BP confirmation and other functions.
