Did I get an original Mugen Battery??

After reading on this forum I decided to bought this 1300 mah Mugen battery a week ago. I got my battery this morning. Problem is, after looking the package, somehow it looks...cheap...and I realized it was shipped from hongkong...I bought it for 37 USD. I got the pics.

Yeah my battery came just like that too. It's holding charge a bit better than the original but what's most impressive is how quickly it charges compared to the original.

[Q] Will the 2150 fit using the stock back?

Will it work? I just got a white cover and want to keep using it.
If not, what is the largest battery I can pop in there

No, I am pretty sure the 2150 requires a new back. I think a 1500 or the 1750 from Seido uses the standard back.

Seidio sells a 1750 mAh battery, which is the largest that will fit with a stock cover.
the 2150 does not fit the stock battery door. I bought the 2150 and never used it. It makes the phone so bulky and not to mention really ugly. Im using the Inc/Evo 1800mah ($20) it works great and fits the stock battery door.

Lies! You can get OEM HTC branded 1800mah batteries that fit inside the stock back cover. I've got two of them.
EDIT: TokedUp beat me to it.
I'm sorry for asking this, but can someone link me to the 1800?
Check out the seller chichtec on ebay. I got 2 htc 1800 batteries plus a charger for like 30 bucks. I highly recommend them

Batteries on Ebay

Hi,
Just saw a 1530mah LENMAR battery and an Extended 2400mah for the Dell Streak5. Has anyone purchased them yet and give their opinions?
The 2400mah battery and back look interesting, it will make your steak thicker but it doesn't say by how much. The built in stand would be useful though.

[All HD2] Rugged Phone Case (Extended Battery Fit)

For those of you who have the HD2 with the extended battery, I know how important it is to find a case that will fit with the extended battery attached. For the fact that the HD2 is a very unique powerful phone along with the vast amount of operating systems that this phone can support, a protected case is priority! After much research, I have finally found the case that will fit with the extended battery without any modifications whatsoever! It is the Seidio Convert Combo Case for the HTC Evo 4G!! Here's the link:
http://www.seidioonline.com/htc-evo-4g-convert-case-holster-black-p/bd3-hkr4hev4.htm
Not only that this case does an excellent job at protecting the phone, but thanks to the excellent pre-cutouts, you still have access to the camera, speaker, light, USB port and headphone jack! The only disadvantage is that you don't access to the kickstand. If you can deal with that, this case is for you! Here are some pictures I've taken with my phone and new case.
Complete Assembly
My phone with extended battery
Ditching the slim hard case
Putting the phone in the silicone skin
Phone with silicone skin
Phone with silicone skin and skeleton
Pre-cutouts
This case should fit all HD2's without any problems. If you have the HD2 with the extended battery, I highly recommend that you get this case to protect your investment!! It will be the best $50.00 you will spend! I hope this helps!
http://www.jr.com/powerskin/pe/PSK_AP1502HD7/
What about the powerskin? It claims to fit the hd2
I did the research on this case. It may fit, but it will cover up the camera, speaker, light, USB port and headphone jack. For me, I wanted an extended battery as well as a protective case that gives the ability to access all the ports and jacks on the phone. That's why I chose the case I have now.
Another thing to consider: That power skin has a battery with 1500mAh. The extended battery has 2300mAh. To me, that's more juice that I get to have with the extended battery.
awesome, can you tell me exactly which battery to buy. And I will also buy that case. Do I have to apply a screen protector my self, or is it like the otterbox defender case that comes with one already installed?
Yes, you will have to apply a screen protector yourself. Here are my recommendations:
Extended battery: http://gorillagadgets.com/htc-hd2-e...k-plate.html?gclid=CNC7kdHAgKwCFQNthwodoldVlA
Screen protector: http://www.zagg.com/invisibleshield...es-screen-protectors-covers-skins-shields.php
You may be able to find the screen protector cheaper on eBay or Amazon.

you have no idea how long I've been looking for this: AMAZING!!! so just out of curiosity do you have the problem with the extender battery that it doesn't show the full capacity and you have to pull the battery and put it back in? (i'm running android)

Yes, that is the correct case. It's good to see that Amazon has the case for cheaper. I'm currently running Coredroid v1.7 on my HD2. I don't have any problems with the extended battery not showing full capacity.
very nice , i like it
so are you not using the hard case part of it just the loose fitting rubber with the outer shell? just curious if you are using the hard part of the case as well.
I bought this official HTC Battery and gel case from eBay.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-H..._MobilePhonesCasesPouches&hash=item4158991c90
What absolute crap!
The battery is fine but that gel case has a pointless bulky stylus attachment on the side which adds a whole cm to the width. The phone now looks like something the Fedex guy carries!
I just ended up taking the extended back cover off and stretching a standard gel case over the battery.

Nope. I'm not using the hard case. It won't fit if you have the extended battery attached. I tossed my hard case and used only the rubber and the outer shell.

What ROM are you using? I ask because most of the custom ROMs here don't have extended battery support. The ROM listed in my signature for the HD2 is one of a very few that does. Here's the thread where I got the ROM from.

According to the Tytung_R14 kernel list of features, the only extended battery that is supported by this kernel is the official HTC extended battery (2300mAh). This is what the battery looks like.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-2300mAh...595309?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item2311ce68ed
Scroll down so that you can see actual pictures of the battery. If you do not have this official extended battery, then your ROM won't support it.

Official Extended Battery for HD2
I'm getting requests to provide links to the official extended battery for the HD2. This battery is getting very difficult to find. It's recommended to use Amazon or Ebay to find this battery. Here is a link from both vendors. Keep in mind that these vendors can change their links at anytime, making the ones listed here outdated.

Battery replacement for Mi 8

This thread is dedicated to discuss options for battery replacement of our Mi 8, which is BM3E model, 3300/3400mAh.
You can get a original copy, a Nohon or Lehehe on Aliexpress. The most popular seems to be the Nohon, though the Lehehe is reported to have more capacity (4.000mAh, though in practice somewhat less). The original battery is sometimes found.
Original battery for 8.79$ on Witrigs
Lehehe 4.000MAh on Aliexpress for 14,50€
Lehehe 3.400mAh on Aliexpress for 13,32€
Nohon 3.400mAh on Aliexpress for 15,84€
Nohon 3.400mAh on Aliexpress for 21€
That looks pretty interesting
Does it fit inside the MI8?

They should, sice they're listed as Mi 8 compatible, and according to the pictures they appear the same size.
According to a video to change the battery, the connector of the 4000 battery is shorter, I do not know if it will work

True, unless you flipped it over, but still it doesn't seem to fit or be the same connector.
Curious, because all four different links must be wrong then.
This is very interesting... Nobody tried yet?
the battery size are not the same
and also dont trust any battery with same size but claim have higher capacity, energy density is a constant, 3400 maybe possible, 4000mah is not.
mi8 77.58 x 62.56 x 3.75mm

Did actually anyone changed it's battery and re glued the original back cover with success? I am searching for a new battery and i'm looking for the best way to glue the back cover yet, idk if it is going to glue well if i just use another adhesive or if i just have to buy another back cover with adhesive on it. I want my genuine back cover not a cheap one.
I am looking for the best method, preferably using european shop, but china is okay. Anyone can help me?

It's not a Li-polymer.
wrote as Li-ion battery.
Maybe you don't know that: POLYMER-based batteries last longer, while ION-based batteries are shorter in life.

erm.... that's not how I understand it. Can you explain how that works to me?
as far as I knew, it just relates to the polymer bag the parts are in. It's a Li-on in a polymer bag.
