If I put my HD7s in diagnostic mode (presumably by holding vol down + camera button when turning on?) will it only stay in that mode until I turn it off...
The only threads I can see on diagnostic mode are from people who are now permanently stuck in this mode and I dont want to join that club!
Thanks in advance guys!
Mark

I tried to install one the OTP i think v7.7 to my phone and it accidently disconnected. Is said repair so i did all that but now everytime i turn my phone on it say Open touch project and then it freezes. Is there anyway I can fix this??
anyone??????
It also allows me to do the Hard Reset but it still goes back to the open touch project and freezes
Does the phone connects to ActiveSync via USB before freezing and/or does it remains connected after freezing?
you can put your phone into bootloader mode (hold camera button first then power on the phone while keeping the camera button pressed) once you are in bootloader mode, you can start the RUU again
please help i have flashing my htc diamond and after the screan was black , he not sycro, and i want to updte i have error 260, hard reset dont work, help
Try putting it into bootloader and flash another ROM.
Just press volume down + reset.
i have testing volum down and reset but he not work no syncro
dead is dead i tink the motherboard is hs , i don't say any other solution
any bady have a same problem , final solution jtag i tink
i'm in the same situation.... what do you did??
eny thing my htc is dead
So it won't even turn on? Can you see a black light?
Try removing the battery, put it in, hold down VOLUMEDOWN key (don't let go), and turn it on. Do you see a three-color screen?
What do you mean by "no syncro"? ActiveSync won't work with your device. But your computer maybe can still recognize it?

same situation here, also after error code 260
doesn't react to anything, can't hard reset anymore...

or should i send it in for repair?
Kind regards

I got from bro "cortez.i"
"(you get to bootloader mode by powering off the phone, then press-and-hold the down volume button and quickly tap your power button (do not press and hold the power button)"
good luck
after replacing a dead digitizer LCD screen, now the power button is gone...
is there an alternative way to turn the diamond on?
I have tried hitting the reset button or connecting it to the computer, but nothing worked...
the guy who fixed my phone somehow got it to run yesterday, and he told me that he did it by putting it into flash mode
did he mean bootloader mode? but without the power button, how do I access the bootloader mode?
I need your help!! THANKS!!
I have same problem. please help....!!!!!
Pull out the stylus. It should turn on automatically
Nope
That won't work if the diamond is turned off-off.
i've tested : connect your diamond on the pc, and pull off the batterie and reconnect her (2 or 3 x) and at a moment the mobile turn on.
Hi
Have a friends I9000 on Orange UK running Froyo (I believe?)
Have an issue where the device boots past the splach screen and then to a blank screen and occasionally vibrates, also the device has no access to download mode!!
Have done quite a bit of searching and attempted a few fixes....mainly the 3 button combo fix, which i cannot get to work as the guides ask you to put the device into USB debug mode before using ADB to reboot to download to allow flashing of new bootloader. Because I dont have access to the phones menu's DOH!
Now have tested the laptop and drivers etc are all ok with SGS running ICS from teamhacksung and ADB works fine can reboot device etc...etc.
My question is can anyone advise or point me to the place that will shed any light on the best way to sort it!?
Or is it best going back to Orange/Samsung then once back fixed then fixing 3 button and getting rid of another awful stock network provided ROM??
Also top marks to the people who decided to disable recovery/download mode on the devices....Kudos to you!! Probably not going to read this but hey that was my rant!!!
Thanks in advance and festive wishes to all!!!
A lot of people seem to say that a USB jig is what you need in this situation.
Almost every tutorial starts with "first try if your 3 button combo works and you can get in downloa mode".
You are sure you can not get in download mode? Power off the phone and you can pull out the battery out to be sure you power off the phone completely. Put the battery back and push Vol Down+Home+Power Button. After 3-5 seconds you can release them. Here you have white screen and vibrations? If here is the problem you have to acquire the USB Jigg for Samsung. It will get your phone in Download Mode.
Thanks
Thanks for both your replies!
Yeah definitely no 3 button combo in this SGS! Apparently some of the later models were shipped with it disabled to prevent users from inadvertently wrecking their phone!!! Hence the 3 button fixes, which are fine while you have a working device!! If you cant enable USB debugging you cant get ADB access!! So looks like a jig is going to be the way forward, or back to Orange!!
Hi!
I have problem with power button its not working anymore its like button is stuck not going up or down anyomore.
Camera button works and volume buttons ...i stuck on recovery mode ..
Does anyone know how to boot phone up with windows (USB) Program adb?
Before i get phone to repair shop?
Thanks!
Let me guess - Lumia 720 (buttons in this model are... picky).
Just plug in your phone to power and it will turn on.
