Not sure what the issue is, but I was using CM 7 with the new market, so I don't think its a Rom/market issue

I upgraded my cappy to cm7 rc1 and was unable to install apps from the new market. It was slow also, I ended up uninstalling the market update and everything was fine.

Did you download Google apps to.go with Cyanogen? They are both seperate packages that have to be flashed one by one.

Try to clear your data in download manager.
Settings, applications, manage applications, all, download manager, clear data.
Cleared data, still no go. This is a fresh install from yesterday btw.

I would just go back into recovery, clear dalvik, clear cache and flash the ROM again.

[Q] FB ForceClose when browsing friends list

I'm still running on CM6 and BFS kernels.. haven't had the need or time to play with any of the new stuff. Everything has been working fine (except when I tried changing SetCPU to smartass and forgot... wow did it run slow). Suddently though anytime I try to hit "Friends" on the FB app, it FCs on me. I've tried reisntalling, wiping cache and dalvik and it still FCs.... Not a biggie but its ruined some interesting conversations.
Thanks for any help.

Same thing happened to me. Just google facebook 1.5.2 apk and download and install it. Should be first link. That solved my problem. Remember to take off automatic updating for it if you use it.

[Q]-Application requires newer SDK version error

I tried searching around for this error but there's really only one other thread on it. When I try to update some apps tonight like YouTube and Flash 11 from the google play market, I get this error. Has anybody seen it or know of a fix for it?
This seems to happen because market thinks you're running ics. Are you running cm7?
Try opening market, waiting a while and updating the apps manually
