are you using Gingerbread bootloader ?
I suggest you to use Insanity CM032 (it's based on CM).
My battery life is crazy good with this rom and GB Bootloader.

You cannot install Bootloaders from Recovery. You need to install them via Odin.
Check the guide at http://sgscm7nightlies.pbworks.com/w/page/43987996/Flashing Bootloaders
Also all modern GB bootloaders are the same, only the names are different depending on which version the got ripped out of.

tnx i install bootlaoder i will see how its works..

After flashing, no battery readings are accurate. Give it a charging cycle or two before you pass any judgments on it.

u mean calibration?

Calibration is a myth. Just charge the phone a couple times, it will calibrate itself just fine.

Then you must not have a recent Nightly installed.
Download the newest build from http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=galaxysmtd and flash it via recovery.

it is the newest version nightly Send to ROMManager cm_galaxysmtd_full-83.zip
and i using 82 ver. it is meter?
its nightly

If you need to know, whats added, check the changelog,
http://cm-nightlies.appspot.com/?device=galaxysmtd
It just 1 thing, if you need it, flash it

its will resolve the sd card problem?

If you have 82, you shouldn't be having an sd problem.
You do know to look in /emmc for your external SD card, yes?

[Q] upgrading android in GB.XXJVU

below are the current android details in my I9000,
Firmware Version: 2.3.6
Baseband Version: I900XXJVU
Build Number : GINGERBREAD.XXJVU
Tried upgrading to Remics-JB 3.0.1 and failed. Reverted to the 2.3.6 XXJUV. Can someone point me the steps or specific forum following which i can upgrade to either ICS or JB ?
Can you describe why it failed? You need to tell more, so we know what went wrong.

1. rooted the XXJVU
2. tried installing the Remic-JB which i had earlier copied to internal SD card
3. successfully installed, rebooted and got stuck in boot screen. waited for 5-10 minutes no change.
4. removed the battery and rebooted manually, the same status.
5. reverted back to XXJVU.
guess this helps
Wipe everything and flash it two times.

Coming from GB it is wise to flash a ICS rom first before going to jellybean,
after this then you should be fine.

[Q] Samsung S Advance I9070 Overheat & Battery drain

I bought my friends phone in an attempt to fix it but it kind of worked, the problem it first had was that it didnt load after boot screen so i installed a rom from live samsung updates, it worked but then the phone over heats and im guessing thats the cause of the battery drain i tried install different 4.1.2 pda versions like I9070XXLQL, I9070DXAMD1 and I9070XXLQE but they all still over heat my phone, current i have the ITV version installed which is I9070XXLQL.
the battery temperature is 46 degrees according to the phone tester app
i have Watchdog lite, battery doctor, task killer and clean master app installed to keep the ram low
Is it cause my phone can't handle 4.1.2 JB version, should i install a 2.3 GB rom?

No it´s not a problem with your stock rom ( JB or Gingerbread)
Either the device is corrupt or you should try to flash another stock rom again.
by some stock roms the device over heats for me too.
Try another one...I´m using xxlpe
(-flash via odin-)

Root, istall CoCore E kernel, use PegasusQ governor, SIO scheduler. You can find all that in I9070 Original Development thread.

Governor change the way CPU is scaling. When it uses what frequency. And that kernel is way better optimized than stock one.
P.S. How long does that heating lasts? I remember it was couple of hours when I was on stock, maybe during media scan (on first boot).

the heat last till battery is dead, it doesnt cool down
I have rooted it, download kernel and installed universal kernel flasher but when i click on select a kernel image, it says "Unable to find application to perform this action, i have extracted the kernel.bin.md5 file from zips and placed it into extsdcard and also moved it to sdcard but both still come up with the same thing
Nvm found out i also needed to download file manager
The phone is still overheating after installing kernel, i installed kernel by using recovery mode and installed zip from there, cause doing it the DD way was too complicated since i didnt know how to get into superuser mode and type in [dd if=/sdcard/kernel.bin.md5 of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p15]

Yes. And when you tap on screen time, how much hours do you get?
Average for me is that battery drains in about 12-15 (it can get more if I use it less) hours with 2-3 hours of onscreen on JB with autosync and wifi or 3g on.

CM10.1 or stock.
I've got the (NFC vesion i9070P).
My reason for you is to search for another stock rom or flash (Harshjelly for stock) .A custom rom like 10.1 which shutdown said or the new kitkat 4.4.2 by maclaw. If you want more information about it ask.
The battery drain is either a corrupt by your devive or a wrong (stock/custom rom) whatever....

Try flashing the official rom with odin. You don't lose any data using odin. You just have to go search for your rom and the tool (odin). I'm not sure that you dont lose any data but I already done that and my data was intact! But it's better to someone with more experience advise you.

You should not be trying to put any of these roms on your phone since it's 64 bit and all of these roms on here are 32 bit... I think there is a stock rom somewhere on here that you can download to fix the phone but you need to make sure you have philz touch recovery installed first.

All phones that have a rom or kernel that's not 100% stock is going to say modified... Go into recovery clear your caches which are the dalvic and cache and try to charge your phone while it's powered off... Don't try to do updates because you cannot ever get it to work since you installed philz touch recovery... That rom is the ONLY one available for your Vodafone there is no stock RUU to fix it I can't find one and neither could you so I would try your best make the rom I gave you work.
