If you want to make it into an update.zip, I think more people would be able to try it. For some reason, the new SU doesn't play nice with metamorph on our phones

installed nice and quick, but upon start up launcher pro fc'd. No custom icons either. Same with the system font. Only thing thats really different is the notifications bar. Used the update.zip method.
EDIT: Also the MediaProvider.apk is installed but won't launch and the system theme has not changed
any help would be appreciated because this theme looks awesome!

I tested this on mine and worked fine and about custom icons and custom fonts those aren't included on the metamorph theme he posted is just the notification bar, notifications icons and pulldown bar btw mediaprovider.apk is just an icon that scan media is not a launchable app so don't know what you mean.

Is not my theme i just ported the metamorph because someone asked for a flashable version if dena994 post the whole theme maybe i can port it for you guys.

OP, I just flashed this. Looks really nice. Only thing I've noticed so far is the pop up messages haven't changed, they are still white/grey on blue.

You should include MediaProvider.apk for the media scanner icon to match, is on the flashable zip i made.

Version 0.5
Download: View attachment HTCFroyoAscend.zip (metamorph)
Make clock white after install:
After you reboot, open Root Explorer.
With root explorer, browse to /system/build.prop.
Long tap on build.prop and select Open in Text Editor.
Scroll down and find hw_customizetype=01 and change it to hw_customizetype=02.
Save your changes and reboot.
Or simply download and replace the build.prop with the one that is attached to this thread.

Yes, it runs the same its just a theme. It's not like a theme in windows. This just replaces stock images that is on the phone. Any launcher works.

Resore the Nand backup that you made right before installing this theme If you use ZipThemer to install themes instead of MetaMorph, it has a much less painful "undo" feature.
OP, I've attached an updated version of the theme that also installs build.prop into /system/. Note that in this updated version, everything is in the root of the zip file instead of inside the HTCFroyoAscend directory (required for compatibility with ZipThemer).
And that comment in the <useless> tag looks awfully familiar, just like the one I put in my HtcBlackStatusBar theme for the Eris

I accidently activated the theme using metamorph without making a back up. What can i do if i want to revert back?

Well I used metamorph to install the theme and it looks good...but my notification bar didn't change to black. Only black boxes around my 3G, signal, and battery. Did I do something wrong?

If the notifican bar has black around the icons on it the bar has changed to black,its not showing up because the buildprop file needs to be edited. Use root explorer and long press the buildprop file and open it in text editor,find hw_customizetype=01 and change it to hw_customizetype=02 save changes exit and reboot.

It has statusbar_background2. When receiving a notification, it will show on that background completely shutting off statusbar. Then will go back to regular status bar background.
Only problem are notification icons, if you have too much, it will overlay on the centered time.

2.My second question is in applications menu tab menu background.I want to change colur of this I marge it on attachment file.Which file is background?

Don't know if this the proper thread about it but...
1. Try Contacts.apk.
2. tab_focus, tab_press, tab_selected. They are .9.PNG, you won't see them in full form cause they expand. In that case, that SQUARE image. Inside framework-res.apk.
They look like this.. see attachment..
And oh, they are just one image. That blue background is with the tab. See attachment to understand.

Instruction:
1) Copy and replace LGSystemUI.apk and LGSystemUI.odex to system/app (please before you copy in to system/app make sure you set the write permission on both apk's which is rw-r--r--)
2) Restart device.

It is transparent, but when you go to settings or messages/etc you will see "black" color instead ugly grey.
Pleade do a back up first.

Here you buddy. This is not flashable. Just extract abs drop in/system/app. By the way i think if you just replaced the odex file you would keep the mod, but fix the fc.

I guess only Titanium can get my device set up in a usable state...
Edit: Titanium made very worse things well. I dont know whats wrong with your files but you should add an BIG RED WARNING to backup data first, if you dont want to make people angry with your stuff...

A couple things. First, what model are you using. Second, since I'm the only one who posted a fix I assume that part about it not working was to me.... So the file I uploaded was for the guy using the T-Mobile device, if yours isn't it won't work for you. Finally, and pay attention please. there is no need for him to put a red backup your data warning. That is ALWAYS the first step when you're modding your phone. That is one that doesn't need to be stated and you feel it does I highly suggest you hold off with further mods until we have a recovery.

FIRSt of all backup your rom data & battery for sure and open the battery icon file.zip that you download ' because sometime they add stat_sys_battery_THENAMEOFTHEBATTERY.png when you paste it and the name is there , its not working at all ..
YOU SHOULD DELETE IT FIRST
- open ninjamorph
- tap new project
- go to /system /framework and tap framework-res.apk wait untill done extracting ...
- if already extracted, goto FILE MANAGER open the one you download just now. COPY All & PASTE it in /androidthemes /workspace /framework-res.apk /res /drawable.land-mdpi and paste
(Androidthemes is inside of the file manager )
- if already paste
- open again the NINJAMORPH
and tap FINISH PROJECT after CREATING PACKAGE .. tap YES NO YES wait untill done and reboot !!

1: Open first the one that you download because sometimes they add name ' eg: stat_sys_battery_THEY ADD NAME HERE .PNG if you see name there you should delete it ' coz its not working when the name is there .
2: If you use ACE-I paste it in drawable-mdpi ' if SGY paste it in drawable-ldpi ...

Hi i already downloaded the icon files above. but just a quick question. i found 2 types of bat icons on my phone (gt-i9300 4.3) and i dont know which of those 2 icons will i replace. should i replace the one with "ic" or "tw" with starting initials on the file name?

i sucessfully changed the battery icon once but when i tried to change it again nothing happen..i wonder whats wrong

the battery icon aeon dont show the percentage by 1..it only shows by 10 ..how can i fix this?
