Thanks to XAviierG for the instructions on how to apply
Go to system < app and copy systemui to any file on your SD card. Then rename it to systemui.zip and extract it. Find a picture you want to use and name it carrier_logo.png and drop it into drawable-hdpi and overwrite the old one. Then zip back up the folder and drop it back in system app and when you overwrite it you will get continuous fc. Just reboot. When you reboot you'll have no status bar just go back into system<app and change the properties and reboot and it should be all good! If its all blurry and big its either two reasons. The picture is too big or go to settings < system < date and time settings < carrier name settings < and make sure custom carrier text is check and in the box its blank.

like how i did it with miui 1.8.12 and will work on newer miui if u have extended settings
if u have a theme just put the carrier_logo.png in com.android.systemui\res\drawable-hdpi
and apply it in theme manager
and if u have a custom name on your carrier erase name and leave it in blank
post screen shot to see if it work

dont worry about converting cuz theme manager will do it automatically for u

ok..this is a small patch for those using Zeus v3 with 5thEchelon theme.

THIS THEME IS OF GABWERKZ. i have just modded some VERY small tweaks to get this look. IF YOU ARE USING THIS TWEAK/PATCH; please don't forget thank the actual person behind this theme (if you have not thanked him already lol
if you want to apply any kernel/mod/etc, be sure to flash the unpatch before & reboot. then boot into recovery and do whatever you want.
I am not responsibe if this bricks your phone.

It has statusbar_background2. When receiving a notification, it will show on that background completely shutting off statusbar. Then will go back to regular status bar background.
Only problem are notification icons, if you have too much, it will overlay on the centered time.

1.In zeus V3 I cant change back(blue to green) phone icons.I replace original phone.apk with 3b phone.apk but its same blue.I make wipe data and factory reset its same blue.Which file contains phone and call record icons?
2.My second question is in applications menu tab menu background.I want to change colur of this I marge it on attachment file.Which file is background?

Don't know if this the proper thread about it but...
1. Try Contacts.apk.
2. tab_focus, tab_press, tab_selected. They are .9.PNG, you won't see them in full form cause they expand. In that case, that SQUARE image. Inside framework-res.apk.
They look like this.. see attachment..
And oh, they are just one image. That blue background is with the tab. See attachment to understand.

Recently I installed MIUI ROM for Galaxy Mini, but some icons are not original size. How can I set the original icons? I do not want to replace the png file ... Any idea ?!?!?!?

It happens when theme doesn't cover all icons, you can simply drag small icons to last screen

don't be so c0cky, you ain't going to die because of those icons, are you? go to /data/system/customized_icons_1/ and copy whole folder to sd card, then resize all icons to 90x90, and then copy whole folder back. or you can just edit mtz with icons, google it. happy now, princess?

i just read that you don't want background on them, you'll have to edit mtz...
or just use a theme that covers more icons, like vexillium project, or glasklart hd
oh, and btw. you should request to move this thread to q&a section... ;d

don't write in red, if you wanna write in red, become a teacher... dude, i told you how to fix those icons, and there's no other way to fix it than by resizing and replacing png's... what more can i say, accept it and get your hands dirty with resizing, or just stop whining about such a little thing...

Permission is GENERALLY needed for using something to build another thing, not for same ROM according to me. If permission was to be asked for even contribution, there would have been no themes for several ROMs

Just use any file explorer like root explorer, es file manager etc
Copy the systemui.apk in system /app,change permission to rw,r,r and reboot!
If u still can't understand click "working inside root directory" in my signature!

You must use root explorer full version. Then do it step by step carefully. I did it. U can see the screen shot on previous page on my post.

Alright, its time for some additional theming ! First i would like to share my custom Xtended dotview case theme (wallpaper). Download the wallpaper here and set it as the theme (crap the whole wallpaper when setting it).
Let me also give you the hint on which programs i use to edit the basic zip files and png (icon) files that i will be using in these small tutorials :
- 7zip to edit the .zip archives
- Paint.net 3.5.11 to edit the icons
First small tutorial on the agenda is the softkey mod
Download this softkeys example zip archive and open it up by :
- right clicking the .zip file and choose 7Zip
- open archive
you will see now the files inside the .zip in a new window :
I usually drag the files out to a custom folder and start editing them in Paint.net, once you opened the files you can edit them to your liking. Scout the internet for icons and images of your liking and edit the several icons to show as softkeys :
The preview.png is there to show how it looks like so edit the main icons (back/home/recent apps at least) into the preview.png. Edit the bar to full black and copy the edited png files into the bar. Once done and all the files are edited you save them and drag them back into the softkeys example archive :
After that you can close the 7Zip window and rename the softkeys example.zip to your own custom filename. And as a final step you can upload them to the Xtended online server !
Place the modified zip file to your phone's sdcard or internal storage and go to the Xtended online section on your phone.
select :
- Xtended online
- uploads
- softkeys theme
now select your zip file and upload it. When its processed we all can use and enjoy the new custom softkey set !
Next on the menu :
- Statusbar mods
- Animated backgrounds
