video problem

Hey
I've got a huge problem : i can't play any video on my nexus one (gallery, YouTube,internet ... )
I don't know why
I installed froyo 2.2 and video stopped working then i installed back stock rom ... video don't work
I've unlocked my nexus and i've done all the stuff with the amon-RA recovery images
I got the stock roman from modaco

[Q] Problem on cyanogen mod(i think)

when ever i try to download gameloft games' sd data through wifi it show me an error. i read post that new gameloft games have problem like this. but i tried old gameloft games like asphalt,hawx,ganstar but same result
is this a problem in the mod, phone or wifi?

and i've thought of going back to stock rom. it might fix the prob and to experience gingerbread

I´m running Android Revolution HD 1.0.2 ROM, and it really fast and cool.
But... i have an issue with the videorecorder. It starts recording about 20 - 40 seconds after i hit the start button...
Anyone else having this bug?

Hi, i don't have that issu and i'm with the same Rom. I read somewhere in the original post of Android Revolution HD 1.0.2 ROM that somebody have the same issu. Just read more careful and you will find it .

I have s-off and clockworkmod installed on IS (bell). Android version 2.2.1, baseband version 20.23.30.0802U_38.02.01.17_M, software number 1.37.666.3. Now what I would like to know is what are my next steps for installing ext4 1.0.6 mod, and a radio and Revolution HD. I read that the radio I install should match my version, is this correct? Or do I use Radio_20.2804.30.085AU_3805.04.03.22_M? If not where can I find my version. Also should I stay on froyo or upgrade to gingerbread?
Any help is greatly appreciated....

Mikael have you tried to wipe your data? Also the dalvik cache should be cleaned (advanced in cwm).

Running the same as you and camera works fine, tho video doesnt start instantly for me either. but its not 20-40 secs, mine starts up at about 3-5 seconds after button push.
maybe a bit buggy cause of an upgrade from 1.0.1 to 1.0.2 maybe and it conflicts somewhere, is it the stock camera/camcorder or did u install Android_Revolution_HD_Sense_3.0_Camera_5.1.x_v.0.12. Maybe if its stock install that and see how it performs.

Hmm, I'm running 1.0.1 with no problems. Video recording takes exactly as long as it did with the stock Rom, 2-5 seconds.
Have you tried a different SD card? Sounds to me like the SD card speed isn't fast enough. HTC themselves cites the SD card as the problem for 'photo taking delays' and 'choppy video, video record delays.'
Again, I'm on 1.0.1 with a full wipe beforehand and dalvik wipe so its difficult for me to say.

You are using v1.0.2 ... This a bug reported by other users too ... Please go report in mdj's kernel thread ... This is a kernel issue ...

im using same ROM did full wipe including d cache and installed rom than right away the radio and i dont have any delay maybe half a second

yer mine makes the beep noise then few secs later timer starts no big deal for me all seems to work well

might be better if you posted this question in the actual DEV area for this rom

Yes, you' re right. By the time I posted this question, i was'nt permitted to post in DEV area....
But I am now.
In the meantime I have installed a different ROM, and now my cam is working perfectly.

I'd have to say mine is about the same, no issues with video. But I was getting a delay in messages as far as sending/receiving goes. I would probably assume I should reflash my radio after switching between a few roms lately

To the op, I haven't gotten it to run ok anything but froyo and cm7. The sensation, evo3d and others won't run it

so its my ROM thats causing the problem you think?

I think its either sense 3.0 or android 2.3.4

I had the same problem at first. It worked fine on froyo then when I went to GB is when I think I had problems. So I went back to froyo re-installed the game and downloaded data. Flashed BAMF's RC3 along with all the mods possible for it right now along with Dark Horse theme and it works great now. At first I thought it might be the rom but now after going thru all that I know it's not.
How far does it get before it FC's? does it get to the gameloft boot animation or does it close before that? The version I have installed is 1.0.3. What version are you using?

I haven't had problems i am on bamf sense 3 and have a swap enabled and overclocked to 1.59 ghz using imo kernels

I'm on bamf 3.0 rc 4. It installed fine but FCs while checking license. I installed CM7 and it worked until I flashed the Netflix fix (minimal) so it seems that is what's causing the problem. For now I guess I gotta choose between N.O.V.A and Netflix Btw I can't find N.O.V.A 1 on the market, is it supposed to be there?

WENT HERE, DOWNLOADED THE .APK, INSTALLED, GAME RUNS BEAUTIFUL.

1.0.3 works. I bought it and downloaded it and let it install the download and it works fine.

yeah see i dont know what happened to me. i purchased it, installed and it just kept FC every startup. i checked the version number and it was 1.0.0. everytime. i uninstalled, deleted the folder everything and reinstalled, still got 1.0.0. so i looked for the other online, it installed over it and boom, it works.

Tv out for cyanogenmod 7.1

Is there a zip file for a tv out for cyanogen mod 7.1? Or any rom that supports it?

Why are you in the captivate forums, and anyways no CM7 doesnt support TV out...
And if you are on the Captivate, then use GB or FRoyo ROM.

Man i was hopping there was i tv out all the time.

So could you tell me which good rom cook support out tv

+1 on this its one reason im still on stocks ... wait doesnt darknight have a TV out option ?
