Is there any recording app working for IncS? I'm now using Android Revolution HD 1.1.2.
I tried some apps in Market, but most didnot work. Thanks!
I'd be interested in this too... The one feature I miss from my Touch Pro 2...
Did you try Google or the android market?

I did. Finding one that actually works correctly however......
I don't want to record by using 'speakerphone' and recording it from the microphone... The Touch Pro 2 has an audio path that doesn't use the microphone and makes perfect recordings...
how about this?

I'm using this on virtuous unity 1.31 without problem.

Hi.
Is it possible to do native video calling on the Samsung Galaxy S (I9000) using only the Wi-Fi connection?
I'm running 2.2.1 at the moment and everytime I try to use the video call function, it's telling me that it requires a 3G connection.
Is it possible to modify this native video calling app in order for it to work with Wi-Fi?
Thanks for answers
Fring app can do this, but its not available now. If I dont remember wrong, in 08.2010, Fring has Skype video calls over 3g and wifi
Check out Tango
install skype it works great.

Not yet but soon.
Anyway there is some third party alternatives (not native i agree but working):
yahoo messenger
Tango
oovoo
yahoo messenger can do it.
Thanks for the suggestions.
So what plethora of unnecessary and suspicious permissions do these suggested 3rd-party apps require?
Works only if you have Android 2.3.4, for Optimus 2x you need Cyanogen Mod 7.
I have packaged as an update.zip, install with cwm download here
Whats a shame, was hoping for 2.2 to work aswell
It installs but it does not work. I am unable to initiate either a video call or audio call. Unable to receive video / audio calls.

if somebody can fix it we might able to get skype on lg thrill
Have you tried downloading the regular one from the market yet?? Cause looking at the app for download it supports SGSII and the Evo 3D so it Might support our devices (hopes) I personally havent tried it yet so I don't know for certain.
regular version on market doesn't support skype video only voice
I use the Skype from the market with video calls. Aside from the video from the other person being half screen it seems to work fine.

You will probably need to have Gingerbread to use Skype video calls..

does skype work on Cyanogen roms?
Rooted my phone and installed Cyanogenmod (the latest version) a few days ago. I fell in love with the theme and don't want to switch back to stock.
However I really miss the Sense TV app, not only for the IR blaster, but the whole TV guide thing where it shows a recommended list and touch on shows/movies So such apps like universal remotes won't cut it.
Does anyone have the apk for the sense tv app, or an alternate with the same experience?

Sorry the TV app is for sense based roms only. Cyanogenmod doesn't support IR blaster (yet).
That's what makes it a [REQUEST], right?

That's what makes it a [REQUEST], right? This is a pretty big hardware feature to just not support....or is this being looked at differently by others?
I've been using Smart IR Blaster, but regretfully it doesn't record any more. :crying:
Consider this a second request.
Hi everybody,
yesterday I have the Paranoid Android Rom installed. As I sat down today in front of my TV and my HTC One wanted to use as a remote control, I noticed that the TV app is gone. It is logical that it is up to the Rome.
Can I install the HTC Sense TV app?
If it is possible could someone send me the apk?

This is normal as PA is built off of AOSP and not Sense so you will lose all Sense apps and apks. Find a different app to use

To add to what z said - the HTC Sense TV app relies heavily on Sense Framework, so just taking the APK and trying to install it won't work. There are other IR apps available (SmartRemote, One Remote to Rule them All, etc), but unfortunately there are not currently any apps that include a guide feature as well, just remote.
I'd suggest smart remote and get the tvguide app. Smart remote will work on roms that don't use the ir patch it will ask for root permission but it has been the most reliable for me
