Youtube app equivalent to desktop?

Hey guys, If I'm in the wrong area, I apologize.
I was wondering if there was a better youtube app for the HTC Fuze. The native youtube app, and the google youtube app are nice, but they do not play the full range of videos available on youtube, (ex. try looking up the music videos for "What you got" by Colby O'donis, or "Dangerous" by Kardinal Offishall, forgive my taste in music). You will not be able to find the music videos for these songs like you would on a desktop computer.
I've tried Coreplayer, and WVD player, but they either take a really long time searching or there is great difficulty finding videos.
I know this sounds funny but I'm quite surprised that there is difficulty for flash videos on winmo. I have a psp, and the youtube app is amazing (you also have the ability to go to other video hosting websites). Is there a youtube app that is equivalent to a desktop computer or the psp?
Thank you for your time.
ive been a bit dissapionted also in the phone because i tell everyone how much better the touch pro is than the iphone and then it cant do high quality youtube videos. please someone prove me wrong
if you go to the settings icon at the top and hit high quality instead of fast speed they look pretty damn good....
Yeah but if you're running a stock ROM the video skips because it can't process or keep the video and audio in sync..don't know what causes the problem. Not sure if that happens on cooked ROMs though
Have you tried coreplayer 1.3.2 youtube section after pressing views. It has settings out the a**! Hi,Lo,3g,FLV,H264 720p. Beautiful!! Try that if you havent!
But coreplayer is a commercial app, it is not free
btw I tried this software but was unable to make it work for youtube, it never finds anything...

[q] youtube app?

okay is there a way to just use youtube but not having the screen on sometimes i just want to listen not view and the only way this is possible it to have the screen on is there a app or such to do this???
Not that I have seen. As it is, it is not part of AOSP so it is difficult to modify. Youtube is for video's so it's not really meant for what you want it to do.
why not just go to the desktop youtube site?
I've never tried but I don't think the video will stop playing if you lock the screen.
maybe even the new mobile youtube site, just give it a shot.

[Q] Screen issue with FLASHplayer (only flashplayer)

Hi,
I have a problem with flashplayer on gnote.
When i look movies, (only witj flash player) on browser, 50% of the movie's display have à problem with brightness or something like this. There is a kind of blink, wave blink.
Sorry for my bad english.
I try some ROMs and Browser, try to delete flashplayer update, and i have always the same issue.
How ti fix it?
Thanks
Yes, I have exactly the same problem. When watching flash videos in browser it's like the top half of the video flickers constantly.
This happens when playing the video in both full screen and normally, it also happens in all browsers.
The problem doesn't exist when playing the same video streams in other players such as Dice or MX.
it's very annoying, I would really fix the problem, help me plz
Yet another software related problem... it is a rendering problem... most likely 16/24 bit problem.
It's possbile to change OpenGL setting for FlashPlayer with chainfire3D? flashplayer is a "sys" app, and not listed in chainfire3d's app list.
It's possible to set flashplayer at user app?
k, i convert flashplayer to userapp with Titanium BackUP PRO, and change app's settting with Chainfire3D, and try to change the ption "Depth Buffer". With any value, nothing change.
Anyone found a solution ?
I am having the same problem.. can anybody help?
Try iPlayer in Market.

[Q] Modded Youtube apk?

Hello. I was wondering if theres a modded Youtube.apk (for ICS) that allows you to turn-off the screen while watching a video, without stopping the playback. I remember that you could do that at earlier builds of youtube, but they changed their policy, because youtube was meant for 'videos'... Also, I thought of another thing that could be cool-playing youtube videos at backround (for example, starting a music video playback on youtube, and pressing the home button without it stopping it).
Sorry if I posted it in the wrong forum.
Thanks!
I also can't seem to find one. Only thing I know is that the youtube apk 2.1.6 works like that, but it won't work with ICS...

[FIX] [Android 5.0 Preview LPX13D] Green/purple video in browser (chrome)

I just thought i would share with you guys a fix i have been looking in to since installing the new LPX13D preview a few days ago.
Quit a lot of videos that are viewed inside of browsers try to use the vp9 codec, and by the look of things it is not yet fully supported (both in chrome and the android /framework itself).
I have spent hours of my time trying to figure this out, simply because it was just bugging me. I could have easily just watched the video in the YouTube app itself which seems to work just fine.
This fix is assuming that you use the chrome browser on your device.
Open up the browser and type in to the address bar chrome://flags
Next, find the option "Disable media source API" and press enable so it now says disable.
Now find the option for "Enable GPU rasterization" and set it to "Force-enabled for all layers"
That's it, now you can watch and enjoy your videos without the green/purple tint overlaying them.
Thanks! It worked like a charm
Awesome. Worked like a charm. Thanks.
permanent fix
Is there anyway that there is a more permanent fix for this. I am on CyanogenMod 12 nightlies and I still have that problem...
Thank you so much for this fix! Too bad this does not work inside feedly where I still get the pink tint in embedded videos
