[Q] Scroll Speed

I noticed that iPhone have a way better scroll on browser than most of andriod phones.. Than i google a little about it and found that the iPhone uses hardware aceleration (CPU) to do a better scrolling.
Now i wonder if our developers community could get some sort of code on the browser to use more hardware on it, especially to scrolling..
There is any way of that happen?
I have access to a iPhone (my friend's iphone) and i really think that scroll on it is way more comfortable to my eyes, don't know really why.
Sorry for bad english (again), and no notion on programing skills.

I think it depends on hardware capability. Like a computer, the vga must have internal vsync feature to minimalise screen flickering and cpu do the frame tearing and method. If we do it just by software I don't think can 100% perfect.

Use SGS Touchscreen Booster. Worked for My P970 and Atrix. Not iPhone smooth but smooth enough.

[Q] Some hidden 'apps' in Framework

I was just messing around a bit with lge-res.apk when I came up with some disabled options around xml files and I enabled them to take a look... Why we have those options there? And why they were disabled?

Because we dont have the hardware like LTE or QuadCore or NFC but we could use this taskmanager thing maybe u can pull the apk from V30I for the KU(dont know the numbers )and activate it

Well QVoice doesn't seem hardware dependant. Strange they let that there if there is no use, I saw some of this stuff in LG 4X HD forum but there, that's quite normal eheh.

I tried copy Taskmanager.apk from v30I and press the "Task Manager" button, but nah, it gives me a SystemUI FC... Maybe it needs something else to be enabled/added to SystemUI.apk...

The QVoice thing won't do anything, just like Miracast... If I longpress the LTE one, it takes me to Mobile Network Settings, and the others show me what we can see on screens..

TR2 is free...
Anyway, downloading from Play store works fine on CM7.

I downloaded it from play store and play it with max graphics

temple run 2 works for me. it is better than the first one

playstore download also works on CM10 for me

i had no problems at all, evrthng running/installing good CM 10 PA

It is far away better than tr1. But i have bugs with achivments... anyone?

Anybody using latest google map on o4x CM10.1

Did you experience any problem during navigation? On my phone, the map area sometimes become black and flickers.

I havent tried the navigation feature, But my screen does flicker black. Its an issue, google will be sorting it because it is a completely new app!

I have the same problem too.

Problem solved. "Tittanium backup" or "Disable Service" freeze google maps and install the TMN Drive. Just 5 *

latest maps update fixed the flickering

Can someone please post a link of the .apk for the latest google maps cuz when i try to install them throw playstore it says "not available in my country" . im on CyanogenMod 10.1.2 with Gapps installed (Maps app is not included )

Maclaw CM11 compass bug?

Hello, anyone is having problems with compass, it's weird because GPS is working just fine, but compass app's don't point north. Any workarounds?
It's the only bug I have in this amazing room, and I need it for geocaching

Yes I am having the same problem and it seems to be on all cm11 based roms.
The official geocaching app seems to work OK but I don't like that app much. C:geo is a far better app but as you say the compass function doesn't work on cm11. To be fair this is most likely an issue with the app rather than with the rom.
C:geo works fine for me on Maclaw's cm10.2 which is pretty much a flawless rom and one I'm totally happy to stay with.

There is a beta for GPS status & toolbox (atm 4.3.85) which does work with CM11.
