I can't believe navigation is not available in my country - estonia.
Can i get free navigation somehow ?

There are hacked Maps with Navigation everywhere in xda. Just Google something like "maps navigation xda" and I am sure it will appear.

Same here... but...
IGO My Way (cracked) with Regio Estonian map works fine.
Also you can try CoPilot, Navigon, Sygic... cracked/keygened versions avalible from forum.mobilism.org

I.M.O. Sygic 11.0.1 is the best navigation for Android. It uses 3D acceleration (PowerVR SGX 530 in O.B.) and runs pretty fast.

Sygic is really great. Only bad thing I could say about it is how fast it eats battery.

I love how sygic moves and behaves as well, however, their coverage of my country is beyond terrible. Any clue if there's a way to include older maps (such as Sygic Aura 2) in the new Aura 3 (11.0.2) version?

Works for me, except the default setting is "faded pulse", which seems to be unsupported.

It seems like 4X does not support front key brightness control.

I only modified the LED interface part. Nothing I can do much about battery issue.

I use the app NoLed , it works great and no need to root, you can set the time for how long the notification will stay on.

This app has been working great for me, thanks a lot atipon! However, I encountered a problem that might be caused by this app.
I did an update from V10D to V10F firmware and now the softbutton backlight wont stay on anymore, as set in the system settings. It has been working on V10D flawlessly, but with the new firmware, the lights will go out in a few seconds, no matter if they are set to always on.
Another user has reported, that this setting was working for him on the V10F firmware.

Uninstall app and check that problem still or not.
App does not make any permanent change on phone.

I just did that a second time (uninstall & reboot), but with no effect. Strangely every other setting of light-on durations seem to work, so staying on for 1.5, 3 and 5 seconds, but when set to always on, the light will keep going off after a few seconds.
I noticed, that there is some system file 'br_maintain_on' in the button backlight folder and its content is '0' - could it be related?

EDIT: OMG, changing the content of this file to 1 did fix it instantly! I'm not sure, if this app caused this behavior to happen but if anyone has the same issue, the exact location of the file is:
/sys/devices/platform/button-backlight/leds/button-backlight/br_maintain_on
EDIT 2: the file will be set to '0' on each reboot, even with read-only permissions and when this app is not installed. It looks like this could be a firmware bug?

[Q] Some hidden 'apps' in Framework

I was just messing around a bit with lge-res.apk when I came up with some disabled options around xml files and I enabled them to take a look... Why we have those options there? And why they were disabled?

Because we dont have the hardware like LTE or QuadCore or NFC but we could use this taskmanager thing maybe u can pull the apk from V30I for the KU(dont know the numbers )and activate it

Well QVoice doesn't seem hardware dependant. Strange they let that there if there is no use, I saw some of this stuff in LG 4X HD forum but there, that's quite normal eheh.

I tried copy Taskmanager.apk from v30I and press the "Task Manager" button, but nah, it gives me a SystemUI FC... Maybe it needs something else to be enabled/added to SystemUI.apk...

The QVoice thing won't do anything, just like Miracast... If I longpress the LTE one, it takes me to Mobile Network Settings, and the others show me what we can see on screens..

Known Issues:
If you do not use the full screen mode, the desktop picture will be extrusion unlock the screen, dial pad, because the resolution of the problem will have white edges
Chrome browser flash back (may use other third-party browsers, such as UC, this ROM is not built-in, please download)
Remember is a alpha stage.
Installation: Wipe everything as you do (always) then flash the zip. Thats all
Source Use google translator to english, there is a way how to set up pie.

ROM installs and run fine...its base its 4.2. Navigation keys are missing so its hard to control the ROM. Its pretty solid considering its in Alpha stage. I will totally use it as daily if navigation keys are fixed...thanks for sharing.

edit: aha was able to have it working its using pie pro for navigation I will post some screenshots.
feels solid to me. colors looks vibrant as well

here are what I found out:
there are some alignment issues with the dialer and when setting up a pattern PW
then lock screen is non responsive for about a minute. so u have to try to unlock it numerous times
Franco kernel works
supersu is in chinese
quick reply pop up in txt is mis aligned
torch not working
verdict: if the lockscreen issue and misaligned stuff gets fixed its a daily driver and it cud have been better with its own navigation buttons
going back to miui for now

If you going from android 4.4 then first u need to 4.2.2 boot loader.

Someone's using this ROM? could use the virtual buttons? I downloaded the latest version but I can not switch screens by not having virtual buttons.

Maclaw CM11 compass bug?

Hello, anyone is having problems with compass, it's weird because GPS is working just fine, but compass app's don't point north. Any workarounds?
It's the only bug I have in this amazing room, and I need it for geocaching

Yes I am having the same problem and it seems to be on all cm11 based roms.
The official geocaching app seems to work OK but I don't like that app much. C:geo is a far better app but as you say the compass function doesn't work on cm11. To be fair this is most likely an issue with the app rather than with the rom.
C:geo works fine for me on Maclaw's cm10.2 which is pretty much a flawless rom and one I'm totally happy to stay with.

There is a beta for GPS status & toolbox (atm 4.3.85) which does work with CM11.
