Real Time, 2 way sync, Push for Gmail

Is there a real time, 2 way sync, push solution for Gmail? Or even better Google Apps?
I've seen Emoze but it's not real time and doesn't do 2 way syncing.
Any other solutions for pushing Gmail to my Tilt?
No there is not. Reason you can't have real time is the delay involved for Gmail to forward your email to a service that can Push it to your device.
So the closest you can get is something like setting your Gmail to forward all your email as it arrives to an Exchange service that supports Push like mail2web.com (or any other of your choice) and the then have your device sync to mail2web.com over the air.
And as you've noticed its only one way. There is no 2 way syncing.
I have set up IMAP settings for GMAIL, two way sync possible and you get almost instant notification with new emails.
Check in google mail under help for IMAP, or use these settings. Works great with Flexmail.
Here is a post from TangerineTractor on the XDA forum how to set up:
Good news for Googlemail/gmail users... IMAP supoport now implemented, so you can schedule checks of your mail account and manage
mails whilst keeping synced up with the gmail servers...
serversettings: imap.gmail.com:993
smtp.gmail.com:587 use SSL
user name is [email protected] or [email protected] etc...
If you set up labels in gmail, these appear as folders in your artemis mailbox, so moving a mail to a folder on your atremis has the effect
of adding a label to it and moving it to 'All Mail' in gmail.
In the advanced mail options, make sure you check to delete mail off server when deleting, otherwise all deleted mail stays in the gmail
all mail folder.

Yup, Gmail works great with Flexmail 2007, using IMAP IDLE for instant notification. (push)
PsyOpWarlord, please don't state your knowledge so absolute. Something like "Not as far as i know" makes things much clearer, now people are just confused.
Just create a hotmail account and use windows live. It's push email although I haven't figured out how to push my calendar to my Pocket Informant Calendar or outlook calendar on my device. If anyone could help. Thanks

[Q] Immediate email notification????

I am using cammster.com as one of my security applications at home. it sends me an email when it detects motion. However, I cannnot seem to find a friendly app that will send am email immediately to my Sprint Hero.
What free email program and app can I use that will send me an email when cammster sends it out, and notify me right away.
I have tried a google account (gmail), but it seems to want to check for emails at predefined intervals when using the main email client (that I also use for a work (exchange) email address).
I tried a yahoo (ymail) app and email addy, but it would conflict with my work email and stop the program from receiving the work or the ymail mail.
I quickly tried K9 app, but couldn't figure out how to use it with the yahoo mail to notify me immediately of the new email
Any suggestions?!?!?
The gmail client does push notifications. You should use the gmail client not the mail client for a google account (gmail).

Are you on a Rom? Or are you on the stock sense rom? I am curious because sense is a bit more friendly with accounts and sync.. in the settings menu, there is actually a section called "Accounts & Sync". In there, you can enable background data and auto-sync. It will probably not be instantaneous, but honestly, your battery would die immediately if your phone was constantly checking your email. I suggest WildHeroc as it is currently the bomb digity. Have a good night.

Email Syncing Problems

So far I love the NOTE. My biggest gripe is "Push" email with my hotmail account. I setup the MICROSOFT EXCHANGE with the push settings but I never get the email notifications unless I "help" it by going to the email folder. Whenever I do this, I get the notification.
On the iPhone, I get almost instant "push" email even if the phone is in standby.
Anybody have a solution for this? I heard bad things about SEVEN" and K9 doesn't actually have "push" mail
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
I am used "Enhanced Email", and better than Galaxy Note's Email, sometimes the Galaxy Note's Email stop to respond/receive Exchange mail coming, don't why, but after change to use "Enhanced Email", never lost any mail.

Searching for an imap client

Heyho,
i'm searching for an email app wich allows me to check my mails i sent from Thunderbird on Win7 when im not at home. Normally on my android device it works properly with K9 and imap on both programs, but on my Win7 device it didn't.
Ja i set everything to imap, maybe interesting it's an gmx adress. And normally they want to be paid for imap, but it works also if u enter smtp... yourself.
Regards Max
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA
hi max
The only thing i've managed to get working is gmail.
I have gmail check my 3 pop email accounts ( all seperate mail servers)
On WP7.5 under gmail account i can find each folder ( i have set up in Gmail to keep the 3 inboxes seperate) and pin the inbox to the home screen.
On the home screen i can see when and how many mails are in each mail box
I like gmail as it means even if i loose my phone or whatever, i can always check all my mail on one webmail account
Works great
gmail, yahoo, hotmail all work perfectly fine in wp7.
I set up an IMAP server we use at work, without any problems.
Do you get an error message?

[Q] Problem with samsung email client - can't turn off

Hello,
My employer gave me a SGSIII mini. I use the phone to work: call, email, calendar and contacts, everything works with Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. Unfortunately samsung email client is unsuitable for MS Exchange - black background, a very large font, when I write an email I need to set the font size every time and is very slowly.
I tested other programs such as TouchDown - work ok but I can't turn off the samsung email client. All time check and receive mail on both programs: TouchDown and samsung email client. In settings options I turned off the email sync for email samsung client but still gets e-mails!
How can I turn off synchronization for email samsung client (sync mail ONLY by TouchDown) and the rest: calendar and contacts will be sync with MS Exchange?
Sorry for my bad english
