hi i have whatsApp and if i want to make a video, i only can choose vga or qvga
and not 1080 or 720 ,but galaxy s 2 can .
and second problem is, i i shoot a video white the galaxy x 2 i have the whole screen and whit the optimus 2x i have a big frame
You can't via WhatsApp because that would cost them too much data. You can't on the LG but also not on the SII. Go to the camera app on your phone and you can film in HD. Same as Galaxy SII.
Yes it can i try a view seconden ago

I was just wondering, if a snapdragon processor which has only 1/3 the gpu of galaxy s and if both can play HD videos, is it possible to make galaxy s play Full HD videos by performing some tweaks?.. Just a thought..

Hi my friends, I'll be thankful if u can help to find a such app.
I'm interested in filming slow motion videos, so I wonder if their an app helps me to film 100fps even if the resolution is rubbish , I guess there was a Lg phone can shot 120fps in low resolution and it was named LG Renoir, thx.

In all of my photos there is a RED halation (halo) in the center of the photos !
any one having the same problem ?
besides I'm not really satisfied with the photos , specially the ones in low light
I think the camera does not work perfect !!!
Any Idea ???
It's a hardware fault. I'm pretty sure it's in the lens , every Optimus 4x has a purplish reddish circle in the center. Its in the Samsung galaxies too

R U sure ? I mean when I use "camera 360" App there's not any halo !!
if it's a hardware fault it must be seen in every app , yes ???
I taught update could fix the problem, but u say NO , Right ?
Hi.. i'm new here (in optimus 4x thread)..
I just bought optimus 4x HD a few weeks ago.. I realized that the camera has a pink spot in the image and also the video.. I try search in the internet and the problem also occurs at other phone such as galaxy s2, HTC HD2, and several more..
Some of the phone has an update that fix the problem.. I there any update for Optimus 4X that can fix it?
Hi all.
I have been trying to enable 1080p recording on our s3 mini and would like some help. I downloaded cm11 from the xperia P (same cpu, records 1080p, different camera) and changed our build.prop and media_profiles.xml to try enable it. Now in the stock camera and other camera apps I get the option to record 1080p but its always gives me an error. But when I change from 720 to 1080 in the camera app I can cleary see a change in the field of view, i.e, it gets wider.
Someone on here said a while back that the hardware is capable of it but it just needs to be enabled. Has anyone any experience is anything like this? I have seen it been done before on the Moto Atrix 4g and Galaxy Nexus.
I thought the camera wasn't capable of recording in 1080p.
