Anyone else having this problem? While I'm texting, there's a slight lag now between when I press a button and when it shows up on my screen. Using Handcent SMS, but it's also occurring in the stock texting app. Here's a list of the apps I have frozen through Titanium Backup...
Blockbuster
Books
Citrix Receiver
City ID
GoToMeeting
Guided Tours
Help Center
IM
IM Presence
MOTOPRINT
News
Picasa Authenticator
Skype Mobile
Slacker
Social Location
Social Messaging
Social Messaging Service
Social Networking
Social Sharing
Social Status
VCAST Media Manager
VCAST Music
VCAST Tones
VCAST Videos
VZ Navigator
ZumoCast
Any ideas?
Found the cause. Having SetCPU on any profile besides moto_hotplug was causing it to lag when texting.

Do you still have facebook/twitter stuff by removing the above? Or is it standard in android not verizon stuff
I changed my setcpu to ondemand with 800mhz as the max and have experienced no lag.

(San Francisco, CA) May 20th, 2009-TuneWiki, the next generation social media music player, today announced its new app for Google's Android 1.5, Cupcake. This new version of the app features Blip technology for increased social connectivity, offering to post the user's current song on their Twitter or Facebook profile. The new social media capabilities come in addition to earlier TuneWiki versions, promoting a social network that allows users to add, edit and subtitle lyrics for audio and video files in all languages. This new version of TuneWiki is the most advanced and comprehensive social media music player compatible with Cupcake available today. Features found only in the Cupcake version include a home screen widget, allowing users to control TuneWiki without having to launch the full player, and the ability to organize and access different parts of their music collection directly from the home screen through live folders. TuneWiki for Cupcake is Bluetooth compatible and can be upgraded to an ad-free version for $4.99.

I don't use facebook or twitter, but tunewiki became my favorite music player yesterday when I found out they made it more than a youtube search. I don't remember if you could play your own music before, but I know you couldn't play shoutcast and last.fm on it. It's already better than any of the other streaming players I've tried. It's like a much nicer version of Flycast
smartshare doesn't work for some reason...it says "error while browsing!"
anyone know of the "best" app for wireless syncing music, documents, movies, etc from a desktop? i dont exactly want a music player...just something to sync files and folders (i actually like the stock music player)
the apps can be paid too, but prefer free

This is a free pro app, works incredibly.
I own a macbook and have a lot of bookmarks on my safari browser, lots of them contained within folders. I used my mybookmarks app to transfer them to my htc one but they are just in one massive list, no folders, i was able to also import them on my google chrome browser, but same thing, they are still in a huge list.
Is there anyway around this?
I also have a spotify account, how to I transfer songs to the stock music player app on the one....?
Anybody know...........
Dont know about the bookmarks but with Spotify you dont own the music, you stream it with the ability to download tracks on the premium version. Download the Spotify app from the Play Store and log in using your account and youll find all your playlists are synced. It integrates very nicely with Sense and the lockscreen so acts pretty much like the HTC Music App.

I have the premium version and yes I can download to listen offline but would just be nice r to transfer them to my music
I presume if I cancel Spotify my downloads are still there

No, you lose them. Spotify is a rental service.
I've been having this issue with my Note 5 for the past few days where whatever I'm streaming gets paused when a notification comes in. I'm not talking about an interruption in the stream. It completely pauses and doesn't restart after the notification. I would have to manually restart it.
This happens with Google Play Music, TuneIn Pro, YouTube and even MX Player playing a local audio file. In the case of TuneIn Pro, the incoming notification actually kills the app! I'd have to launch it again.
Not every notification pauses streams though. Hangouts, Skype, Telegram and FB messenger do but some others like Gmail or Yahoo Weather don't. I blocked Telegram's notifications and it still pauses streaming as if not blocked (i.e. pauses streams when it would have thrown a notification).
Lastly, and I'm not sure if this is related, the issue started happening after I used the Samsung headset that came with the device for a call.
Any thoughts?
I live in the UK and have 3 Google Home speakers on my network.
I really like Pandora for streaming music but it's only available in the US. I have a premium account which I use on my phone (with a VPN) without issue and I would like to set it as the default music streaming provider on my speakers too.
I've set up split tunnelling on my router so Pandora isn't geo-blocked and can access it on my laptop and any other device on my network so I'm fairly confident that its working.
However, I don't know how (or even if it is possible) to set it up on Google Home? When I go to the Music section in the Google Home app Pandora isn't listed as an option so I don't know where to go from there!
Any suggestions?
