Perhaps this can have someone build a custom Rome.
Looking for a possibility to be informed via an LED.

BLN support in kernel is impossible because the driver at question is proprietary.
Missed Message Flasher (application in market) doesn't work?

Here is the Discussion thread for SM T110 Kernel Port, suspended temporally as few files need to be written from scratch.
Will start after my exams

Seems like we will have to port only Display driver, camera driver and the Shared memory driver

Hello!
How about this program?
We haven't got a Cm Rom yet.
Stock Rom is too boring.
This one makes no sense anymore we have a working T110 port
[OTH] OTG support will be available ?
Waiting your return. I need a custom kernel in my tab. Thanks

You could include OTG support?
If you could include whether the driver of the usb modem zte whether type of orange?
Would be great if possible as we could have in our tablet 3g usb modem connecting an application using pppwiget

Root your tab and install the trickster Mode.app. With this app you can change the Governore to conservative and Scheduler to cfg or noop.
Take a look to this post

dead
this project is presumed dead.
it is not even tagged "T110". Also the OP did not state from where towards where he intended to port.
R.I.P. , kernel !
Hi there,
i want to use my old Samsung Galaxy Note as Tablet for my little daugters. To protect the Phone (and also my daughters), i want use the multi user feature to be able to install Apps with my accounts and let her start only less alowed apps.
I always try some Custom ROMS with Android 4.2 or higher. But all of them without the Multiuser feature.
Could anybody provide me the name of a Custom ROM that provide the multi user function ? I found a old thred, that Revolt should support that. But the Version of the Revolt ROM that i found, was without this feature.

There are device related problems with multiuser support (Small /data partition and no emulated internal storage).
This could be changed in an rom but this would make all other roms incompatible without manual repartitioning.
This is also the reason why I have removed it some time ago from my lollipop rom
Hi Bauner,
thank you for that Information. Now i understand why i could not found a ROM with this feature.

Is this possible? Can i add Xposed framework into stock marshmallow source and build it? I know it is possible to incorporate apps into the source via packages/apps, but i assume Xposed is an entirely different animal. I am somewhat new to Android development, i did search for this question beforehand but was unable to find an answer or a thread pertaining to it.
On my rooted "samsung galaxy S4 active" (GT-i9295) ... I have been happy with the cm-12.1-20160822-NIGHTLY-jactivelte.zip ... until I used it for telephoning now
The microphone level is really really low. The person on the other end can hardly understand me. And the soundrecorder also has very very low volume.
There are workarounds. I have googled a lot, and found instructions how to root-edit files in /system/ - which all did not help, because one file from the workaround wasn't even existing in my device.
There seems to be another way, using STweaks, but for the above mentioned cm-12.1-... it says "Sorry, no kernel support".
So I am looking for alternatives, please help. Some ideas:
a completely different ROM than the cm-12.1-20160822-NIGHTLY-jactivelte.zip - any chance for an Android 6.0.1 anytime soon?
a different kernel which is compatible with i9295 and my (seems to be newest?) CM12.1, with which I can use STweaks or something similar
another app which allows to change the mic boost level
an instructions manual for cm12.1 which tells me which system files to edit how
your way - what else could I do?
Thanks a lot!
Try CM13.1 https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/mobile/folders/0B7vmsLnZghSUZ0o0aEtLNUdYR1E
Hi,
I have a feature request for all ROM & kernel developers to add kernel level support into Android in order to successfully emulate a USB Keyboard & Mouse.
Once the kernel has the patches you can use this app to make your phone act as a USB keyboard and mouse:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=remote.hid.keyboard.client
In order to apply the patches this Github link explains everything you have to:
https://github.com/pelya/android-keyboard-gadget#compiling-kernel
Also, due to SELinux restrictions, the kernel has to be set to permissive however the guide also explains how to edit the kernel to get it working when the kernel is enforcing.
Please can any developers add this as it would be a nice addition to have in Android.
Thanks for reading

Android already supports keyboards and mice so how would adding kernel level support improve things?
