Cannot connect to pc - LG Optimus 2x

Hey guys,
I have a problem with my Optimus 2x. Recently it couln't read anything from my sd card, every file got corrupted suddenly. I had to format the card again. Now I cant connect phone to any pc, it says that windows wasn't able to install drivers. I've tried it on 3 computers, I even wiped and changed rom from CM7 to MIUI to try. Nothing.
No difference whether I have sdcard in the phone or not.
Any help please?

Okay, after installing drivers from LG it works... and I though usb mass storage should work anyways...

Phone doesnt recognize usb connection

Hello! I have a big problem. I'm trying to install a new baseband on my o2x but I just can't connect it to my computer. The phone starts charging when i plug the usb to the computer but I just can't enable usb mass storage (the menu never pops up, it only charges). The computer of course does not recognize the phone either. I tried plugging in my old HTC legend and the usb mount worked flawlessly. I'm currently running the MiUI pre release (celebration 2.0) on my o2x but I tried the latest cm nightly aswell as Slick2g-v4 and the problem remained. I installed the LG united drivers, rebooted both phone and computer but still no luck.. Any ideas?
I'm greatful for any help (already seriously considering throwing my phone in a nearby lake and getting a SII -.-)

if youd read the miui thread at development, there is a problem with mass usb connection, usually if your coming from cm, your ext sd is not linked correctly, _extsd something folder from internal, thats why your phone does not recognize your sd card, hence it cant mount
@droweed: Hey Even i'm facing the same problem on Optimus 2x CM7
I understand that the SD is not linked directly dats y its not getting detected..
So can u tell me what can be done or atleast point me in the right direction
Alright : / but shouldn't the phone be able to mount the internal sd at least?

Dude i had this same issue..N it turns out its a common issue in Customs ROMS.
A little bug wich needs to b solved....
Well Re-installation of another ROM worked for me..
Or Search for this app "Dual Mount SD" or sumthing from da market..install it..
Had the same problem until today, I turned on USB Debugging and it started to work again.
USB only charging
I have completely the same problem. USB on pc still isn't making any sound, only charges the device. Tried to turn on and off usb debugging but nothing.
Had everything ok on nightly 91 but I've switched to 99. Tried to flash back to 91 but the problem persists now.
Anybody with solution for this?
I also have the same problem. My computer only detect the phone as connected but the drive doesn't show. I'm currently using CM7 Nightly 99.. Is there already a fix for this??
in the setting choose unmount sd and quick again check back mount sd. it call typical USB connected screen. there you can choose mass storage like you know from stock rom. this worked for me.
i wasnt able to solve how to connect phone with cm7 to lg pc suite and transfer my contacts to phone. that was reason, because i returned to original rom

[Q] LG 2x won`t recover / Won`t boot

Hi guys
Rooted my GF`s LG X2 (NVFlash), and flashed CM7. Was working fine, until i rebooted the phone several hours later.
Now it`s stock on the Blueish LG logo.
Tried to run recovery, no help
Tried wipeing everything (Darvik, cashe, factory), no help
Tried fixing permissions, no help
Don`t got a external SD card, so cant even get any files on to the phone!
Anyway to flash a new ROM, from the computer?
Thanks
You can push a zip file to internal sdcard from computer using Adb, see howtos like this one:
http://www.addictivetips.com/mobile/what-is-adb-and-how-to-install-it-android/
The USB drivers are those used for smartflash, pick it up there:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1008070
Once all this installed, in console ('cmd' on windows) you type 'adb push /path/to/your/file /mnt/sdcard.
.....
Thank you, for replying.
Tried ADB, but now the problem is, that you need to put the device in "USB Debugging", and as i said, i can`t get into the phone. Hmm, lost again
Weeeee! Finally fixed it with SmartFlash, and stock ROM!
Thx anyways

[Solved] Help! CWM Recovery won't mount USB

Hello!
I'm having troubles with getting my O2X to mount within CWM recovery v.6.0.1.2)
To be precise, i think that the problem is on the PC side, cause it won't install driver when i connect it with cable.
I wiped out everything from the phone (also did format /cache/data/sdcard/emmc/system within cwm) because i wanted to install new cm10 nightly, so i wanted completely 'fresh' phone..
the problem is that windows wont install MPT drivers when i connect phone on usb..i tried drivers from LG mobile support tool, and also from PdaNet, the result is always the same...i have Windows 7 if it helps..
also tried rebooting phone and pc several times too, and tried 4 different usb ports, 2 different cables and always there is 'installing device drivers MPT USB device' for about a minute, then it says 'failed'..
on the other side, SmartFlash recognizes it normally, even tried to flash same baseband, and it works fine..
now im stuck because i don't have a system to boot into, and no SD card reader to transfer CM10 for flashing via zip..
what to do?
EDIT:
flashing stock GB via SmartFlash, haha, just to get to my SD card to transfer CM10 zip maybe there was another solution, but didn't have the time to wait

[Q] Bricked phone help

Hello,
After I've failed to find solution, I've decided to make a new thread. My phone is bricked, meaning that I'm stuck on Avatar ROM. When I try to use CWM manager, it requires me to install recovery mode, which was somehow deleted. Problem is, neither mobile connection nor wifi are working.
And I can't access recovery mode by holding buttons neither.
When I got in trouble before, I used Smartflash tool to flash the original rom. This time my laptop doest recognize phone connected through USB any time. After trying to find a solution for 2 weeks I gave up and asked you guys for help.
I have tried everything: Drivers, N/W upgrade, etc... my laptop just doesnt react when I plug in USB at all.
I almost went crazy after trying every possible driver and still nothing. Once after installing drivers and connecting phone withouth battery in N/W mode, it looked like windows recognized phone but then it said "device unpluged", and since then I cant even get this message again.
Please help! Thanks!
did you try All-In-One Toolkit ...( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2020737 ) first go on step 4 ( but you must have some rom on your ext sd card ) and of courese apx drivers installed on your pc
the O2X cannot be bricked! Try AIO Toolkit

I've heard about this, I treid it as well. But my main problem is USB connection between PC and phone. I have win7 64bit. Are there any other drivers I should install besides the oficiall LG driver ?
You need apx driver to nvflash, but aio leaves full instructions along the process of both nvflash and smartflash. Ohh, USB 2 are preferable so maybe you need another computer and never use hubs....
