dudddeeeee calm down. let me start off by saying your phone is fine so relax. do you have an sdcard reader or something? basically something that will allow you to put a file on the sdcard and then back into the phone? cause all you gotta do is use this "update.zip" thingy. basically you go into recovery, press some buttons and then bam clockworkmod recovery. and then from there u just do a wipe and put on a rom that works (to provide you with more comfort, as im typing this my phone is actually bricked as well lol cause ive been waiting like 10 min for it to start since i put this new rom on. so ill just quickly fix that) let me know if u can get something to read ur sdcard and ill provide you with more info
i'm following this guide..i have problem with connecbot..when i type the commands it says no such file...but in my sd there are the files!!!...
Follow this guide since you're obviously usb bricked:

I resolved with this guide..thanks at all guys!!!
Help please - I tried to upgrade to CM6.1, have done it s few times i the past with great success and no idea what went wrong. believe i accidentally wipe Davik Cache. The Rom loaded, but now I'm unable to mount SD Card. I'm also unable to use ADB on WIN7 Ultimate suddenly. Have read numerous threads and google topics and have tried several solution.
1. modify google usb driver ( R8 SDk pakage)to include legend
2. various versions of HTC Sync to get the drivers.
3. using Deview to remove all HTC devices, etc
Is there anyway to mount the SD Card without ADB, then to recovery and flashing again?
PLEASE HELP

You can Flash any firmware from any region (as long as its for your phone model). Just Flash the Latin modem afterwards (also with Odin).
Also the Kp7 firmware is Latin unbranded (no bloatware from telcel, iusacell or vomistar) and has the Latin modem. Try region southamerica (I know, I know, they just keep putting Mexico on southamerica!)
Hi,
i have ran into trouble with my ACE. The Problem:
1.i started Kies and connected my ACE -> no connection was established...
2.i put the Root.zip file and the CustomRom with MyPhoneexplorer (WLAN) to my ACE
3.now started into CWM, wiped all, rooted the phone, reboot -> everything ok
4.rebooted the phone into CWM -> install from zip -> tried to install the CustomRom -> that failed :crying: "E:cannot mount /cache" and so on
5.now i have a big problem to connect my ACE to Odin... i think this is the same problem as Kies already has. No connection possible in Odin...
What can i do to make my phone run? Everything i see in the moment is the startup Samsung screen an nothing happens.
thanks a lot

Have you got tha right drivers? Also try updating KIES
i think this is the main problem... i have tried to connect ACE to 3 different PCs with Kies reinstalled -> everytime Windows notify about "could not install driver".
When i try it with my SGS2 -> no problem at all.
Ist there a way to flash CWM without to connect USB? I mean put the install File on sd card an install from zip?
Hi,
now i tried everything (i think so). Kies reinstalled, different OSs on my PC, different PCs, Samsung USB drivers but no soultion for ACE... This damn phone
don't recognize at USB
i think the next step is only Samsung Service...
whether somenone have an idea for my problem, please post it!
thanks.
was your sga in download-mod?
if yes
did you installed drivers for the sga ?
because if you didnt installed the driver it is possible that you dont get any connection to your sga
if yes
did you checked usb-debugging ?
But your sga starts normaly? So you use a rooted stockrom?
-ACE was in download mode.
-drivers are installed
-usb-debugging cannot be checked-> ACE does not start anymore...
-no, no start possible, only Samsung Galaxy Ace screen or download mode or
recovery mode.
the issue is not the flashing themselves but the USB connection PC<->ACE
thx.

OK. Didn't know were to put this info, so I'm guessing that this thread is as good as it gets.
Several months ago, cannot remember when exactly, I did a search on freeing up internal memory on my Galaxy Ace S5830L Telcel. Came up on Link2SD and read that the phone needed to be rooted.
Original specs:
Android: 2.3.4 Gingerbread
Firmware: S5830LUBKP7
Provider: Telcel
SD: 8Gb
My previous phone was a Nokia N78 so I was very comfortable "breaking" this relatively new (about 6 mo old) phone. Downloaded KIES and made sure the phone was completely up to date with SAMSUNG. Downloaded CWM 5.0.2.6 for cooper directly from CWM (file called AceGingerRoot.zip). Placed the zip on the card, went into recovery mode and loaded CWM. Rebooted the phone and once more went into recovery mode to check I had CWM. Rebooted the phone, went into PlayStore and loaded up SuperUser, Link2SD and RootExplorer. With these loaded I basically threw away most Telcel apps except the I-mail one and transferred most things to the SD card. I even offloaded Google Maps with Street View, ThinkFree Office and YouTube to load them again a user apps and link them to the SD card.
Oh... by the way I used an external windows program to partition the card with a 750Mb Ext3 partition.
The phone only once hiccuped in that I had to work around the deskclock as everytime I touched into it the phone would lock, then I would unlock and it would open directly into the clock. When I touched into the alarms the same thing happened. Same story when going out. I put up with it since it was really not annoying.
Come this past weekend I read that ICS and Jelly Bean COULD be flashed into the S5830. Not wanting to really go that far I went looking for something a little more "tame"... hence cyanogenmod. Came up with a tutorial at wiki.cyanogenmod.org/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_Ace:_Full_Update_Guide which sounded easy enough. Downloaded the files for S5830 (ccm-7.2.0-cooper.zip), followed the instructions for "Method via Recovery" (including backing up contacts and stock ROM to SD) and voila CyanogenMod-7.2.0-cooper now resides in my phone. The specs are now:
Android: 2.3.7
Firmware: S5830LUMKP3 Build GWK74
Unbranded
SD: 7 Gb user, 750 Mb ext3 for phone
Reading about the issues in this thread I can gladly report that:
a) I have full functionality of GPS together with AGPS
b) My signal reception, both 3G and WiFi has GREATLY improved. I wonder if Telcel is being a ***** and throttling the darn phone with the stock ROM. With 3G I frequently (especially at night) had very bad reception in my calls. This is gone. Also WiFi scanning is better as it now resembles what I can find with my acer 4700 series laptop.
c) Modem functionality is working perfectly. I didn't even need to modify anything, it directly detected the settings for Telcel. I wonder if it "picked them up" from the backup I made in my external SD card of the original stock ROM. This is one of those things I cannot explain why.
Next up... dunno maybe CM9 although dad is sending me his Samsung GT9070 (Galaxy S advance) to play with.
I can't install the ClockWorkMod, when i execute the command "adb push recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.3-galaxyace.img /tmp/"
I get this: failed to copy 'adb push recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.3-galaxyace.img /tmp/' to '/tmp/' : Is a directory
How can i fix this?
G. Flash Custom Recovery:
1) Push recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.6-galaxyace.img to your device using "adb push recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.3-galaxyace.img /tmp/" command
2) Turn off your phone
3) Press POWER+HOME BUTTON
4) Login to your device over "adb shell"
5) Mount /system using "mount /dev/block/stl12 /system" command
6) Flash CWM recovery using "flash_image recoveryonly /tmp/recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.3-galaxyace.img" command
7) Umount /system using "umount /system" command
8) Reboot your device using "reboot recovery" command to test your new CWM recovery

Just out of curiosity... are your file names correct? Are you rooted or rooting within the same process? You post instructions for 5.0.2.6 but are trying to push 5.0.2.3. Do try the instructions I placed in post of nov 07 for flashing cwm via recovery. No glitches on my ace.

Hello
So my phone is completely dead. I manage to restore the lg logo and go in the CWM revovery(with Optimus Toolkit 6 in 1 v1.1.1) ,but when I try to mount mass storage my PC say that I need to Format my disk. I tryed and it didn't help. CWM recovery is by far I got, before that I used smartflash, nvlfash(10a) and Full Brick Repair (Clean & Easy)(TOOL).
This Full Brick Repair (Clean & Easy) helped me 2 days ago when my phone stuck in lg logo, but now i just stop and say bootloader(bad data).
So what should I do if nothing works for me? Is there any why or my phone is completely bricked?
I'm sorry for bad english or if I wrote something stupid. And yes I looked on forum, google, and other forums and coludn't find anything
I hope this thread won't be deleted
Thanks in advance for help

mate,
I am not sure if the tool kit you are mentioning about. But try to use this one which works perfectly for the O2X P990.maybe it is an issue of the CWM or bootloader if you dont have the correct ROM based on your bootloader.if you have a white LG logo then you are on the old bootloader....if you have the pink LG logo, then you are on the new boot loader.you have to choose the ROM according to the boot loader you have.the other one will not work.
ALL IN ONE TOOL KIT by Spyrosk the excellent developer
Hope this helps
Well with this tool I manage to Flash New Unlocked Bootloader with cwm recovery.
I managed to get in cwm,bet when i want the mass storage it PC say it the disk must be formated. So I tryed that couple of times and it didn't help.
So what should I do? Now I'm stuck in cwm recovery :S

did you install the nvflash driver?
GUYS!!!! read again, he is stuck IN cwm, he wants to connect to USB mass storage... now I assume he wants to copy a rom into the external SD card, but he can't do it (obviously) because PC can't recognize the phone (but he is a noob, he doesnt know that).
Now to continue your quest you CANT connect you phone to your windows PC until you install a rom, to install a rom you need to have a file compressed in .zip in your microSD card, you need to remove your microSD card from your phone and use an USB adapter and plug it to your PC and copy a rom to your microSD card and insert it to your phone and now in CMW flash the rom (flash means intalling) and you're done , if you can't do it then download a stock rom in KDZ or FLS format, to flash your rom, but I seriously suggest you do the first recommendation, flash the rom with nvflash.
If you get stuck again don't forget to ask, some will want to help and reply :good:

remove battery and plug in the phone to the pc while pressing the volume - (down) button. Open AIO Toolkit and press I to install APX drivers. If you are on windows 8 than disable signature verification otherwise you won't be able to install APX drivers. After you installed APX drivers chose repartition with preferred layout (do this to wipe everything from your device) Choose new bootloader. After you've done install TWRP recovery via AIO Toolkit. Boot in recovery mode and flash the rom. If you do like so it is IMPOSSIBLE to fail. I do it as I said and I never got error.
Hey Guys,
you are my last resort of hope as i have given up to fix this problem by myself.
I have an HTC One M7 that i have done a bigger repair on (=new camera, battery, display, backcover). Phone had worked fine so no hardware issues.
After that i decided to set up a new rom to also have a 'clean' system, but after i wiped via TWRP as usual (only data and sdcard...) i accidentally flash an M8 ROM which i had stored on the internal SD card after the wipe.
Of course the installation failed and i was not able to mount my USB-OTG or connect the device by fastboot-USB or ADB. Windows only lists my phone as "Unknown Device".
I am still able to acces TWRP and bootloader, but i cant connect anything to the device to set up a new rom.
Drivers are not the problem in this case, as the HTC One of my friend will enter fastboot-USB and will be found by fastboot just fine. Mine will always show just "Fastboot" and wont be recognized.
After that i have tried several 'fixes' found in other threads, but i think i messed up even harder, as now windows wont recognize anything at all. Also have no luck with linux.
Herei is my data:
*HTC One m7 Unlocked + S-OFF
*CID-02__102
*HBOOT-1.44.0000
*RADIO-4A.14.3250.13 *OpenDSP-v26.120.274.0202
*TWRP 2.8.5.0
*Rom was the lastest Venom Rom
Any idea on how to solve this problem? I run out of ideas and think i am stuck with a bricked phone...
Would be so easy if TWRP would just let me boot my USB
Thanks in advance to everyone willing to give me a hint!
Greetings to you all!
Dont you have a nandroid backup?
