i have a stereo bluetooth headset. Installed winamp and miui music player on phone alongside stock one. Connection is fine. But when i use ff or rw buttons on headset winamp opens by itself. It's really annoying when i use another music player.
uninstalling winamp(or using it) is a quick solution but i wonder what is the conflict with them? is it resolvable?

Anyone got it to work? the BT headphones work fine as long as the device is 'switched on', if I switch the screen off it pauses playback, but only with BT headphones, works fine through wired headphones.
Any ideas?
I haven't had that problem at least when listening to music, but I only have headphones at the moment so thats all i use them for.
I am using the Plantronics 590A, and I am able to switch the power on and off from the phone during music playback just fine. The music keeps playing over bluetooth.
Odd then, got some sony BT headphones, and if I turn off the screen, then it stops.
Hmmm, have to have a dig around and see if I can work out what the problem is, what ROM's are you guys running, oh and remember this only effects the BT A2DP headphones, works fine with wired.
What player are you using?
The work around that works for BOTH WMP and AudioManager is to also install Advanced Configuration. Advanced Configuration includes some helpful shortcuts. ONe of these short cuts is callled "Turn off screen." This shortcut will be available in Settings/Buttons, so just assign it to one of your less important buttons (I use PTT Hold). Viola, when you want to shut off the screen, just use the hardware button and both players will continue to play AND over BT.

Just FYI, using a prophet and I have the opposite behaviour, ie it stops if A2DP is disabled.
I have the HTC One complete stock and for some reason my music has just been randomly pausing when I use the music player. It doesn't matter if it's headphones or not. When I use my headphones, it would randomly pause (both Gmusic app and stock music app). Even when I used a Bluetooth speaker it would also pause for no reason. Really strange!! Anyone else have these issues and solved them? I tried downloading headset blocker but it said it wasn't compatible with HTC One. I downloaded WizDroid but it didn't work either. I don't think it's a headset issue.
Reg. Bluetooth Audio -
I am having an issue, likely not related to Malladus, but could be. I use my phone in my car for bluetooth phone AND Audio. Audio being the key here.
Phone is working fine. Audio, will not work with anything except the stock "Music" app. I enjoy using DoubleTwist audio player, but nothing works to get it to play through the stereo. When I bring up the music app, it works fine, when I try to play through DoubleTwist, nothing happens. The stock toyota stereo shows my phone connected, audio enabled, the phone shows a track playing, but no audio is coming through. But if I load up the default music app, it starts working fine.
This has worked fine on AOSP roms before due to the fact that there is no "default" bluetooth stack player. I've read around, and the ROM is prioritizing the stock Music app. So I went and remove the Music app with root, now no audio will play except phone calls.
I am SURE someone has run into this. Is there a fix I am missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can play music fine from the stock KK leak to my Motorola T605 with Google Music and Dsub. Try a different rom and rule out if it's a Malladus problem or not.
I have bought a new bluetooth headset, and having problem with it. There is no audio in bsplayer and in vlc. The headset is paired, and no sound is played through the phone speaker. The song skip functions do work. What prevents me from throwing away the headset is the fact that when I play music in the native Music Player, the headset works.
The old headset works in all the programs.
Both sets are just generic (probably) Chinese made junk. I can't post links, but if you go to ebay and look for "Adjustable Wireless Bluetooth Stereo Headset Headphone Earphone + Mic+ FM Radio", you'll see it. The old one is seven years old and I have no idea what model it is.
The phone runs Android 2.3.7, CyanogenMod-7.2.0-olympus.
I did try to uninstall and reinstall bsplayer.
Any ideas?

Yes, head back to our device forum. You jumped up to the AHD forum instead of the A4G

Hello everyone, I noticed a problem with my car and stock music player.
With previous phones I could easily see the played song on the car display, play, pause, skip. Now with this phone I can't do anything, it plays music when I start it from the phone, but I can't control it from the car.
Is it a problem of the stock sony music player? On Oreo it was the same as now on Pie.
EDIT: Solved. Probably what did the trick was changing the bluetooth streaming mode in dev option, it was 1.6
