While listing to music and a call comes in or is made, does the BT switch between the two profiles(Headset/BT Stereo)? Because after the call ends music resumes but unable to hear without re-establishing stereo connection by double clicking BT stereo play button or otherwise. Are there any work around tweaks for this?
Also PocketPlayer does resume ok after calls, only not able to control with stereo headdset. Puzzling??????????
yes it switches
for me it works fine and music resumes after the call
it may be due to your headset as different ones have given different experiences
which ones are you using?
I have a set of the ht820 headphones. When I paid the Tilt with the ht820 everything works fine but if I turn the headphones off and back on the phone does not seem to be able to find them again. Am I doing something wrong? I never had this problem with my 8125.
If I go into the Bluetooth settings and select the options for the ht820 and select set a stereo wireless then it will work but it there no way to have auto detect that?
I also have a set of HT820. My problems sound worse than yours. My music skips VERY BAD!! I'll get 10 seconds of music then 3 seconds of silence. Do you have this problem?!? As far as connection, yea I also have to go into BT settings to get it to see the headphones again...
Thanks
I've got the same experience. As to establishing the connection, same here as it has to be done from BT settings. But I have to do the same thing to establish a connection between the headphobes (Anycom BSH-100) and my notebook. I'm not saying that this is the best way but then the Tytn is not that different from a normal PC.
I do get occasional/regular skipping when playing music/video. I was thinking that it was a problem with my headphones, but now I'm thinking it's a problem with the BT implementation of the Tytn.
Figured a few things out. For the HT820, if I press the button on the right speaker once every few seconds, it kicks on the BT connection without having to go into BT setting on the Hermes 2. As for the sound skipping, I used the Kaiser tweak and changed the bitpool from 64 to 48 and now it only skips once every few songs!! Getting so close to now having a full fledged music player, too!! Yahoo!!
I just got a pair of Jabra BT8010 for my Tilt and was looking forward to enjoying them but they won't play music for me. The Jabra BT8010 has a regular BT headset that works like any other BT set but it also has a cable you can attach and make it into a stereo headset with another ear bud. You press a mode button to turn on the stereo/music function.
However, the music function of the headset is on and I can control the media player but either the sound plays for about 10 seconds and goes out or no sound comes through the headset at all. Jabra & ATT were no help. HTC claimed that phone doesn't work with this BT set because the device must have a dedicated BT music headset. That sounded shady to me so I decided to check several forums and noticed some people use the same model. I've contacted these people but no reply yet. Anyone have advice on what to do for a fix?
I had the same problem at first. Using the menu on the headset itself, I was able to reset it to the factory settings, repair it with my phone, and it worked just fine after that.
Hope that helps you out.
Hi.
I've a problem with my "old" Diamond^^
When I connect a bluetooth headset to my Diamond and want to listen to my music it works.. but when I use the hardware-keys on my headset (play/pause, skip) it quits the bluetooth connection after 10 to 15 seconds and plays the music loud with the build in speaker. The keys still work but I can't get any music output from the headset. I have to reconnect it to use it again..
When I just use the software buttons (TF3D or WMP) to navigate through my music there is no problem neither.
With my Diamond2 there is no problem. I can listen, and skip and do whatever I want and it stays connected.
Anyone knows how to solve this issue?

tryed different roms! Gen.Y, AZTOR, BsB's...
No one has any idea?
[edit] With my Bluetooth Car radio everything works fine. But it doesn't have any button to interact with the phone but the answer call button.. So why did my Stereo headset work with the Diamond1 for month and now acts like this?
Hi, i have spent some time searching now and since i couldn't find this anywhere i decided to post here, hope someone can help me.
Recently, i bought the official sony playstation 3 bluetooth headset (http://www.us.playstation.com/PS3/Accessories/SCPH-98095) and i have connected it to my xperia x1 through bluetooth (running with itje's touch-it xperience v13.2), the problem is, it only outputs sound for the voice calls, i can't listen to music on it or the normal phone sounds. I know it would be mono sound and not high quality, but i would like to listen to the sound anyway sometimes because its better then leaving it silent.
i have tried in the bluetooth configuration window, clicking in advanced, editing the wireless device profile, thre it was marked hands-free, i clicked refresh and headset appeared, i marked it, then the headset disconnects. when i reconnect it, it auto demarks headset, or it doesnt connect.
I have looked around to see if it was the bluetooth headset problem, but i have not seen anyone else complaining about this or even mentioning it can't play the phone sounds (just some complains about the ps3 sounds not outputing but thats the ps3 fault), and i have also searched to see if it is x1s fault but haven't managed to find an answer as well, so if anyone can plz help i would really appreciate it. Thanks.
thats pretty much because its no BUG.
what u want is a a2dp headset. something tells me that the ps3 headset doesn has this feature. normal headset just route voice calls while a2dp headset route everything.
actually, i didnt use the word bug because i though that might be the case
it has the headset and handsfree profile, not a2dp, but what i wasnt sure if it really needed to have de a2dp profile to output normal sounds, from what i've read it seems it is needed to output stereo high quality sounds, but just sounds with low quality would work for me, thats why im asking, i though the headset profile would be enough for that.
so if i get your message right, unless it has specifically the a2dp profile, there is no other way of making the sound output on the headset, low or high quality?
now i know there might be a way to make it work.
i was listening to some music today using the music player that comes with touchflo 3d, then i pressed the talk button of my bluetooth headset to issue a voice command (with the microsoft voice command program), then the music started playing in my headset while it was waiting for the voice command, once it got the command the music went back to the phone.
Does anyone know any way to make my headset keep playing the sounds, or could at least explain what happens when i press the talk button so i have an idea of where to look to see if find a way?
no one can help me with this? not any tip or a way to select a different output for audio or anything like that?
Also an issue with Audio Gateway
I have tested this issue on two seperate headsets, and so far can get the Xperia to work ONLY as hands free. Seperate phones sperate headsets. The other phone pushed audio thru to the headset whereas the X1 only routes calls.
I also cant find much of this on XDA or anywhere else?
Help?
Regards
i used an ad2p software downloaded from here when i had this issue with my lg ks20. But i havent the gut or im just lazy to try this app on the x1. Maybe u should give that ad2p software a try.
