Hello XDA i have a big problem,
my problem is i have rooted my phone and installed xrecovery on my X8. Then i have downloaded the latest FroyoBread. So i installed the FroyoBread.zip with the xRecovery but allways when its finished i press restart phone and it shows me the Sony Ericsson logo then the FroyoBread logo and after 3 sec. it restart and that happens all the time. I have tried some other roms and everywhere it is the same.
What should i do?
If done full wipe it doesnt help too.
use Factory Wipe,it does not work reinstall FroyoBread using xrecovery,
I cant find factory wipe,
I have done "Factory reset (full wipe)" + "Advanced Options -> Wipe Dalvik Cache" + "Advanced Options -> Wipe Battery Stats"
That doesn bring anything.
/EDIT:
When i'm installing the MiniCM7-2.0.5a-X8.zip is says:
"This baseband is not compatible with this ROM Update to baseband: M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-53404015 first
Cannot install"
But i have the "X8_Shakira_E15i_2.1.1.A.0.6_generic" so it should be the M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-53404015 :/
Are you sure that your baseband is the most current?
this reboot is cald brick search it...

Hi, this is my first thread.
I tried to install GingerCruzt 8.4 on my X8 but failed. I am on stock 2.1 ROM which is rooted and xRecovery installed.
I don't understand where I was wrong.
1. Boot into recovery
2. Full wipe
3. Choose install custom zip
4. Again full wipe (also tried without this)
5. Reboot
6. Stuck at boot screen (picture with girl and title GingerCruzt) for looong time (15-20 mins)
Do I need to wait longer?
I also read many threads about this but didn't find solution.
Also tried to install FroyoBread 023b via xRecovery but same thing happend.
CWM Recovery came with FroyoBread and I tried to instal GingerDX 021 but no luck. Same problem.
What is the solution if it is solvable?

I'd rather not unlocked bootloader.
@sidewalk_
Tried full wipe but did not help. Maybe I missed something?
But I think you must!
I also try to install FroyoBread and it stuck at boot screen. It does not need custom kernel. I think that I missed something, but what question is now?

Can be problem a busybox (1.17.2)? When I rooted phone I installed busybox by coping it to /system/bin without installing it via market (this tutorial youtube.com/watch?v=sJIU5qIdC-w). Same i did with chargemon and xrecovery. Now I find that busybox needs to be installed via market.
Is there a diference betwen chargemon in this tutorial above and that one in stock ROM.
Me again
I tried to repair with PCC, again.
Rooted with SuperOneClick folowing this tutorial (forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1046605).
Rebooted.
Than I copied chargemon, busybox and xrecovery to /system/bin/
Rebooted.
Enter xRecovery.
Flashed GingerDX v013 via xRecovery
Rebooted
Enter CWM Recovery
Flashed GingerDX v021
Flashed Addons for stock kernel
Full wipe
Reboote
Stuck at GingerDX logo for 30 mins than I pulled batery out
Baseband xxx015
Kernel 2.6.29
Build 2.1.1.A.0.6
Also I tried to flash this (forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1105745) via xRecovery and tried to install v021.
Btw, I tried to instal Floyo 1.0 but nothing.
I am out of ideas. Please help )
Solved. SD card was problem. Probably bad one.
I flashed 2.3.6 on my i9001 and made a a reset from the android settings,
my phone restarted then,
not booting the system but the fea recovery menu (I installed this before: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1434586 ).
What went wrong and what do I have to do to use my phone again?
Thanks in advance!
( I tried already: wiping all caches and doing another reset from that menu, also used "fix permissions" but do not quite know what it does)
What happens when you select reboot phone ?
kind of a similler thing also happned to me
i suggest u flash a new stock kernel then root it then u can restore from ur recent backup
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
Well I just rooted and here's the deal, every time I try to install an app from the market either the market force closes and i cant get to install it either my phone kind of restarts it shows the boot animation and then its back to the homescreeen.
Another thing is that market does not autoupdate but when I leave the phone in standby with the wifi on it shows the boot animation again and its back to the homescreen again I believe its the same thing that happens when try to install an app also.
I rooted my phone trough the SmartFlash methond by installing a firmware patched with CMWT.
Do you know what I should do in this situation?
Best regards.
Edit: I noticed this happens also when I try to install any kind of apk.
What I have tried until now: - fix permissions trough CWM (didn't work)
- dalvik wipe (didn't work by it's own, haven't tried it after factory reset as factory reset fixed the problem)
Firmware version: V20N - Germany
Solution: - wipe data/factory reset from CWM
Thank you for the help you gave me
What is your rom version btw?
Sent from derp-mobile
Best will be a factory reset + dalvic wipe from CWM. But make a backup before, so you can restore it

You should flash CM7 ROM again with the following steps:
1. bοοt into CWM5 Recovery
2. wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik
3. flash the CM7 ROM
4. wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache
5. reboot
As the title says I have the problem that I'm stuck in a bootloop. (LG Logo coming up over and over again)
May initial plan was to root the phone (for ClockworkMod, I used AIO-Toolkit), then do a factory reset and then make a backup of the Stock Sytem before attempting to flash the Custom Rom. So there is no Custom Rom on my Phone at the moment. The rooting worked fine and I was able to start it up. Then I turned it off again and entered the Recovery Menu (PWR + Vol -) and selected the option "wipe data/factory reset". Expecting that this would do a factory reset. Then I started it back up and it was stuck in the bootloop. I do have still access to the Recovery Menu. The ClockworkMod is on version 6.0.1.5. I already tried taking out the battery for a few seconds and starting up again and I also tried wiping the Cache and the Delvik Cache and apply the factory reset again. No change.
My Android is still on version 2.3.4 GB. So still the old bootleader as far as I know.
I hope the information I provided were helpfull.
Thanks in advance. I hope you guys can help me.
P.s.: I'm from Germany so my english is far from perfect. I hope it wasn't too bad ^^
FIXED IT!
Flashed a new 2.3.4 V20Q with SmartFlash.
Before that I had a V20R. I am not 100% sure what the difference is but it looks fine.
