This is thanks to the Gold Card. With this method we can install any of our HTC Rom HD7.
In my case does flash my T-Mobile HD7 and leave it in Spanish, and the last European update (RUU_Schubert_HTC_Europe_1.69.401.01_Radio_5.54.09 _22.33b.50.10_Signed_SCHUBERT_RELEASE .21).
Steps:
1 .- To acquire a less than 2GB MicroSD Card Reader and USB. In my case, use a 2GB Sandisk brand and a USB reader Kingston brand.
2 .- Format the MicroSD card to FAT32.
3 .- Create the Gold Card, the following steps.
3.1 .- Insert Card apadtador using our USB to a PC with Windows 7.
3.2 .- To find the CID of the card on your PC Run "REGEDIT" and then go to Computer \ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ ControlSet001 \ Enu m \ WpdBusEnumRoot \ UMB, inside this folder several folders appear to us, we must expand all to place so what the card is connected. The folder that corresponds to our card is one that contains 4 subfolders, named: Control, Device Parameters, and Properties LOgConf, Let's place when we click the Device Parameters folder and copy the data NodeID that are of type REG_BINARY, this number is 32 characters and it is our CID.
3.3.-then visit the following page http://hexrev.soaa.me and paste our CID, and we send and returns the CID we invested, we have to copy it and then visit the following page http://psas.revskills . of /? q = GoldCard, and paste our CID invested, we completed the data and enter our e-mail, and within seconds receive our Gold Card.
3.4 .- We unloaded our Gold Card to the PC.
3.5 .- download a hex editor like this http://mh-nexus.de/en/hxd and install it.
3.6 .- We opened our MicroSD Card and Gold Card to receive Hexadeciaml anteriormete using the Editor, and pocedemos to copy all information from our Gold Card, and paste it into the first characters of our MicroSD, ie replace the first characters of our card MicroSD for the Gold Card. Then keep it, and we have our card list.
4 .- Now visit http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=984902 and download the latest European Rom, which includes our Spanish. (With this method may wish to install the Rom, not necessarily this one).
5 .- Now we extract the downloaded ROM, in my case I use Winrar. tamamos then the file and rename it to RUU_signed.nbh SCHUIMG.nbh and copy it to our MicroSD card.
6 .- Remove the card from your PC.
7 .- Now we must buy a USB Cable "Y", such as using portable hard drives and must be adapted by installing a female USB connector on the end, to connect our cable that comes with the phone, as we do with the connector that is located where it meets the "Y", here you can use a female-female adapter that will connect our USB Card Reader MicroSD.
8.-Now with armored cable and insert the card into the adapter and cable, connect the cable free end to our Phone Charger (It is as follows: At one end of USB cable is our of MicroUSB USB that comes with the phone in the middle part of the "Y" is connected via the MicroSD card reader and other end and be connected to the energy of 5Vdc). Now we can only put our HD7 and start "Enter USB Host Mode" precionado Holding the Volume Down button + Camera button and connect cable to phone. Phone automatically starts and begins loading the Rom we have on the Card. Phone reboots and continues cargarndo parts of the Rom, until screen displays a message that all parties "nb"'re OK and complete. Then disconnect the cable, remove battery, replace, and turn on our phone with the new Rom.
9 .- Later, if you want with this method, can also change the radius of the Ultima, which is Radio_5.64.09.27a_22.43.50.15 elmomento. For this we must rename the file to SCHUIMG.nbh SPL_signed.nbh contained in the ROM and copy it 22.43.50.15_Signed_SCHUBERT_RELEASE RUU_Schubert_TIM_IT_1.70.901.02_Radio_5.64.09.27a_ in our card and then repeat the procedure in step 8.
With this hope I can help friends who have and want to quit HD7 Spanish.

Claudio

hello all ! i have a problem with my xperia x1 . when i try to update my xperia to wm 6.5 , it shows No image file ! any help please,
Happens to me if i try flash from MicroSD.
If i try flash with an 8GB Samsung (Class 6) card, i get that error.
If i use my 1GB MicroSD card with the .IMG file, it flashes fine.
I always use the USB method though, flashes perfectly all the time
try formatting your microsd card as a FAT or FAT32 file system.
before placing the img onto your card.
I've this problem to!
I tryed usb method! When all done, my MS 8GB died!
=/
i format my micro sd in fat 32 , it's work , but it's shows "loading" and he stop there ! what i must to do ?? please ? excuse 4 my bad english
Maybe is problem with .nbh file. Some error during download. Try to download it again and than flash new file.
Try to do with Rom Update Utility!
I had the same problem too!! :O
SO I used the software one.... via USB... it worked... but I would like if all I need is the SD card... So that it can work on it's own...
I feel like a serious problem might happen and brick the phone... lol
rename (ruu_signed.nbh) to (Kovsimg.nbh)
So, here is how to flash new ROM with SD card :
0. Make HardSPL on device
1. Download ROM you want
2. Format SD card in PC with FAT32
3. Copy .nbh file on root of your EMPTY SD card
4. Rename .nbh file on card. It MUST be Kovsimg.nbh
5. Turn off your device and put SD card in. (it woud be good if battery is >50% full)
6. Press and hold Vol down and Power key until you see 3 color screen. Than release keys
7. Follow on screen instructions
8. After flashing is over, HARD RESET device.
9. After hard reset, SOFT RESET
Voila, enjoy your new ROM!
(steps 7 and 8 are here to be sure that every thing is in it's place)
(Take NO responsibility for bricked device )
U just use Check Disk Local in PC scaning micro sd whit connect USB (remember tick: Automaticcally fix file....) > OK
reformat ur card with fat32 and choose the largest available file allocation unit size when you format (it should be 32k....)

So I'm a NewB and managed to get DeeperBlue's v4.0 on a 16gb class 2 uSD card and IT WORKS!!! Even beyond that - I got Android market installed and now with Amazon's market (launched today), I've downloaded and installed swiftkey, and a number of other apps not avail in the android market. THis is a perfect device. Now ... I want to make sure I have a backup of my SD card in case something happens, i can quickly stick a new card in and go. (NOTE: - I bricked my laptop/XP in the process which I have since recovered - - - i said I'm newb...). So I dont care to go back through installing Java, Android SDK, etc.. if I can simply image one card onto another. Particuarly since I have several apps with all my configurations and after taking hours to get this all setup - i simply want to create a duplicate uSD. any help would be GREATLY appreciated... THanks in advance. PS... with everyone creating bootable uSDs my guess is there will likely be others interested in doing the same.
1 - Go to Softpedia.org or equivalent and download FREE Win 32 Disk Imager application (for Windows).
2 - Insert MicroSD card into a USB card reader and insert that into PC USB slot.
3 - Start Win32DiskImager, and make sure that the Disk Letter is the one of your MicroSD card (this step is IMPORTANT!)
4 - Type a name and add .img in the field of the program for an image file name. You can also select a folder on your hard disk using the Browse button.
5 - Click ON READ (not write) and your microSD card will be backed up as an .img file.
6 - Exit
7 - Click on "Safely Remove Hardware" and select the disk letter of your USB reader.
8 - Do it all again, except that:
a - use a blank MicroSD card
b - use the Browse button to select the same .img you created earlier
c - use "WRITE" this time (not read) to burn the .img file to the new MicroSD card.
So, nothing else is needed except a PC with a USB slot, a USB MicroSD card reader (often included free with the card), and Windows (you could even use the stock IE to go to softpedia.org).
Thanks for your quick reply! My hope is my newer higher class card will result in faster performance.

The best way to format an SD card in Windows is a program called "SDFormatter" which is a free product of the SD card manufacturers association, which is at:
sdcard.org
You can download the latest version, 3.0 there.
how can I change SD card and keep all as it was with old one?
I tried to copy everything from one card to another using 2 card readers but it always says, for just some files, that it can't read source destination.
Thank you!

Insert old SD card in adapter. Copy all your data on PC. Insert your new SD card and copy data from PC to SD card. This should do it.

I did try that. I tried to copy directly from one card to another using 2 card adapters and I tried to copy from old card to PC.
some files and folders can be copied but some can't.
Error massage is:
"Cannot copy file: Cannot read from the source file or disk"
I used 2 different card adapters and I tried to mount card from phone.

Maybe your SD card adapter is damaged, or the card itself?
I have done that by phone (not have card reader )
This msg can occur in 2 situations:
- when destination card is not formatted
- when you want to copy file that have over 2GB onto FAT partition
It it prompting that msg when you READ try scan (chkdsk) it. It may have some UTF8 file names too - windows cant read them correctly on FAT.
I guess it had something to do with win XP not being able to read some android files. I used Linux Mint, did exactly the same, and I had no problem.
thank you all for help
Hello everybody,
I'm trying to get a new microSD card (8 GB class 10 microSD HC from Kingston) to work with my GT-I9000 (Custom ROM Mackay CM9 2014 1.7; freshly installed from stock GB). The card doesn't seem to get recognized and is not usable.
In storage settings there's an option to mount an SD card. When I press it, it says 'preparing SD card', after which nothing happens. In WRTP the card is also not recognized. Another SD card (2GB class 4), however, works flawlessly with the current setup.
When connected with my PC via a USB adapter, the 8GB card is recognized and usable without any problems.
I already repartitioned and formatted (FAT32) the card multiple times using Minitool Partition Wizard and Windows 7's formatting tool, as well as SDFormatter.
Does anybody know what might cause this problem? What else can I try to get this card to work??
Thanks in advance.
Simple Fix for this. Keep in mind that smart phones are
computers and the SD cards are physical memmory and
like hard drives, they require regular maintenance.
First take the SD cad out of the phone.
You will then need to insert it into a PC of some sort. I
had to go out and buy an adapter to insert it in the SD
slot on my laptop. You can usually find a cheap adapter
in any store that sells digital camera supplies. I found
one at Walgreens for $8 with a 2MB micro SD.
Third step (Optional). Copy all the data from the card
into a folder on the PC in order to back up your data.
Fourth Step run a scandisck on the card. In windows
Right click the drive then choose "Properties". Click the
"Tools" Tab and you will find an Error correction section.
Run the error correct and make sure you choose the
"Automatically fix file system errors". This should take
just a couple momments to run. DO NOT CHOOSE THE
BAD SECTOR OPTIONS AS THIS WILL TAKE FOREVER TO
RUN.
Once this is complete. Remove the card from your PC
insert back into the phone and boot up. You should be
all fixed.

Thank you for your reply.
I did what you told (plugged the card into my pc with an adapter and ran scandisk, which ran successfully without finding any errors), but the card is still not used by my phone.
Any other suggestions?

Thanks for the suggestion. I deleted fsck_msdos, rebooted and tried to mount the card a couple of times, but sadly the problem persists.
So.... I always backup my things, but my friend not so much and well all the sudden he was asking me why there where hardly any pictures in his gallery. Well the micro sd card was not being detected so I put another in and it reads it fine.
Also put the Micro SD Card into my PC nothing at all even under storage devices, it detects the adapter is plugged in but as if there was no card in the SD to micro sd adapter. Also placed it in several other phones nothing like its dead.
I`m not getting the error like people have where the card is detected but corrupted, This card reads not at all! If it was "courpted" I have data recovery software for that ive used for people in the past, but this card seems dead.
Anything I can do? It has a ton of family pics etc on it which cannot be got back. I know the data is most likely there as there has been no physical damage to the card or even the phone.
I have also tried cleaning the cards contacts.
Any suggestions? Its a 8GB Samsung Micro SD card.
Hello. I suggest Recuva ( https://www.piriform.com/recuva ). Run it with your PC and use Admin rights. Deep scan your sdcard. You maybe able to recover files then, if the files themselves are readable and not corrupted. I have had these file corruption problems with cheap ebay sdcards wich at the end appeared to be fake/counterfeits.
I also suggest to format sdcard exFAT and run h2testw ( http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Miscellaneous/H2testw.shtml ) to sdcard with PC to see is your card faulty.

You will need some specialist recovery software. We were recommended a program called ZAR. Other similar programs are available, but ZAR worked well for us and is free for this purpose.
Install ZAR, then insert the damaged SD card into your PC's card reader. Launch ZAR. (You may have to disable your PC's security software, in which case we recommend you also disable the internet connection).
When prompted, click the Image Recovery (Free) option. This will help you to recover photos from an SD card.
ZAR will now look for devices that are installed, and you need to point it to the offending SD card. Select the correct disk and click Next. ZAR will now analyze your SD card. This will take a few minutes.
Once this is complete you'll see a list of the recovered files. On most SD cards the chances are that clicking the 'Root' checkbox will select all the images. Click Next and you can then select the folder into which recovered files will be placed. By default, this will be the same as the folder you chose to save (so 'Root', in all likelihood).
One important point: you will be asked to select a destination folder for the recovered files. Make sure you choose one on your PC's hard disk and not back on to the corrupt SD card. The latter option will help you not one jot!
It will take a few minutes for the files to copy across. Once this is complete browse to the destination folder you selected. You should find most if not all of the files you wanted to rescue.
