max is 16gb for x8 i think. Check full spec online.
but the more items you save and install on your x8 the slower it will get.
it will also take longer to boot as android runs a full media scan on boot.
hope i helped

What would be better in terms of speed and convenience?
the 16GB costs only slightly more than a combo of 8GB + 1 micro sd 8GB class 10.
so which would be better?
is writing to the internal storage faster than to the micro-sd card?
will it be easier to move files to and from the micro-sd? (from windows/linux with a usb cable)
what would you recommend?
Thanks.
My 16Gb version came with the Recovery menu disabled. I do not know whether the 8Gb were affected, but the 8Gb users I know where I live can use the Recovery Menu. This is only a problem if you want to root the 'phone, or install other ROMs.
16 GB is better, you will find it is not even enough
3 button disabled is no longer a problem, we already got a fix
just download and flash it to fix it
Installing 3rd party ROMs works the same for the 16GB and 8GB?

yes no difference there, because the ROM gets installed else where not part of the 16GB or 8GB
hi my question is does our phone work with 32 gb microsdhc card and if so is it still fast after i will get like over 25 gb of data on card and also if someone uses that big card please show pictures i dont want to buy this card for nothing
On my suggest, just give it a try. Dont bought it yet, ask your friend who have an 32 gb and try to plug in your phone. If it work, then buy it if you are sure it support untill 32 gb.
Mine is 8 gb, and it work. Somehow it shown sd card damage on status bar, but I dont worry I just need to reboot and its back to normal.
Sd card is depend on product manufacturer... Some famous manufacturer not guaranted for perfomance reability. So choose wisely.

You should partition your sdcard through CWM. After that, you have to move apps to sdcard.
Also, make sure you have higher class sd card, otherwise it may lag.
U can also use link 2 SD app to link apps to SD
Yo can also create partition using mini tool partition wizard...
Or u can also use s2e on custom rom..

WOW. So Galaxy mini supports 32GB sd cards?
I went to a store and asked for a 8GB sd card but they said that the phone doesnt support it and it will not work. Maximum was 4GB they said.
Damn, I should go and buy a 8GB sd card. But why would you need a 32GB SDCard for Galaxy Mini. It will make your phone so laggy and it will take years to 'Media Scan" to complete.
Cheers anyways.

hey guys, i have an xperia sp LB unroted on stock 4.3 i updated from sony bridge for mac. Is the sp compatible with cards over 32gb? i would like to know as i am about to get a case and sd card as i plan on taking many pictures during my upcoming vacation and i dont know if the 64gb card will work. Thanks in advance
For many people 64gb cards work a treat on others the phone wont detect the card.
It depends on your current Rom and on the brand of your Micro SD card (For example i heard that Sandisk 64 Micro SD card work with XSP )

From what i've seen so far i would trust a Sandisk 64GB card to do the job.
so if i put a 64gb card in then go to settings>storage>sd card and it says 64gb available then it works but if it doesnt say theres a card it wont work?

If it recognizes your card there it should be no problem but after one point its just a game of chances. But i think if you partition the card to 32 and 32 gb partitions it should recongize it even if it does not when its not partitioned. (I just thought that never tried it )
