Hey guys and girls
Just wanted to know what kernel you currently use or have found best for battery life
Thanks
I'm running MIUI 1.9.12 (STOCK) + Glitch V11 ML at 1.2GHz with a 75UV on all.
Thanks for bringing up this question , i was going to ask it now
iam running stock 1.8.26 Miui as well , and i want to know what's the best kernel for battery life and good display
Get Glitch Kernel for OC/UV upto 1.7!! or Semaphore (OC/UV upto 1.2 +VoodooFIX )or Galaxian(OC/UV upto 1.2 ,VoodooFIX) all these are good ones ..!!
i'd recommend Glitch kernel i have already used it and it was pretty good!!

OC to 1.2Ghz
smooth, fast and stable.
very happy with it.
For me, atm. Galaxian V1 is the best. 1400Mhz of pure smoothness

If you are using CM7 you can flash the Glitch kernel. But I am warning you, it won't be stable. 1.4 is the usual upper limit, and even then a lot of games won't run properly.

but its only 1.2 oc i need 1.4 and above and for the other guy i dont have CM ihave stock rom
Tornado kernel Aureus Neutrino runs stable at 1.5, is rooted and proven.
As the title suggests I would like to know what kernel people are using with what Rom and why.
Do you use the same Kernel with every Rom you flash?

Well im on stock 2.2.1 froyo with CF-ROOT kernel. got this phone as present lats week. haven`t flash it yet xD but ,as anyone here, i just love flashing
I am using cm9 nightlies - based on 4.0.4 because of its stability, good battery life and performance, settings + twics - tw launcher, weather widget and some other things from sgs3, atm with devil3 .79 kernel, with stock ram (378mb, if needed, i can increase it up to 403mb), stable oc up to 1400mhz (with semaphore 1140max., 1200 -> bootloop), also gpu is oc-able ... but if u dont want to oc, semaphore kernel is better for u
I'm reinstalling right now the miui speed ics by lucainno, with devil3 kernel. I really love this rom expecially for the layout, which is different from any other rom! The speed is great and battery life as well. And the kernel is simply... awesome! For its customization
Hi, I'm using ics 4.0.4 cna by franzy with the midnight kernel. I had the devil before but i got a bootloop. With the last midnight the phone is smooth, no lags, good battery life, no bugs until now !
Saurom jw5 + semaphore + ext4 works for me.. very smooth ops. Sticking to 2.3.6 for the fm radio

I'm running the CM9 nightlies as well, with a Semaphore kernel. Very stable and good batteri life, although I'm thinking about comparing with a devil3 kernel. Right now, with the battery life I'm having the most important thing for me is the stability, though.

Basically I have the SGSII JB ROM v10.1 installed and it has an oc-kernel.
I just want a good non-oc-kernel that will give me a good battery life and good performance.
Can somebody recommend me a non-oc-kernel?
Ive look at battery extender 1.6, would this be ok?
Thanks
Almost All the kernels from the stock roms has OC..as per as i know..
Try to Extract Kernel From Original Firmware..
There's Battery Extender 1.5.1 for STOCK roms
batteryExtender1.5.1.zip: 04/08/2012
Fsync was activated for some reason so woops. I deactivated... also some other small changes. Battery driver is the same.
This time NONOC and OC.

download link is for non-oc battery extender 1.5.1
There's Firekernel for CM7

That's the latest firekernel as far as I know.
Why are most kernels OC when this is said to damage the phone?

I read somewhere 921mhz OC is stable for ace...
hi everybody.
I've a very deep question: what is the best kernel which I can use on V30B for improve battery life?
thx
I'm not sure what you are asking, titel of your thread don't really fits what you write.
If you ask for a kernel for IceBOOM from rrgrrg as he said in his fist post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=35225392&postcount=1 the kernel from Gawbeakz (V30i Kernel). I don't think there is a other kernel as the one it came with, GB kernels will surly not run with it and ICS kernels probably neather.
ZeroGravity Kernel with governor "Interactive"
Try it... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2082740

Grazie Pado (thx Pado), but I've found some battery drain problems. BTW I flashed ZG rom yesterday evening and it is very fast and smooth. I'm really surprised by the work done from Andoiib, hence I will keep that ROM untill new Zeus (if it will be better than this one)
thx
