[Q] Reassigne Button 3 to Spacebar - XPERIA X1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi folks,
I try to remap my Butto three or two to the spacebar button.
The Spacebar button has the code 0020, but I don't know, how to change it in the registry. There seems to be only the possability to map it to an .exe file.
Anyone an Idea? Thanks in advance.
Cheers
Jens

Remap Left Side Key?

I've been reading a lot of posts on remapping that useless PTT button. But I was wondering if there is a way to remap the OK key that's next to the scroll wheel.
I'm running DCS v1.7 and the key is already remapped to open the Start Menu. Any help would be mostly appreciated.

Keyremapping failes

Hi folks,
with my Magician I used to remap a Hardwarebutton (Camera preferred) for Voice Command. Now on the Diamond ALL entries in the corresponding Menu disappered! The Progamentries in menu #2. are still there, but no buttons in list #1.
Does anybody know why? Hard- and Softresets make no difference.

AFAIK, the Diamond has only one configurable button. The Long Press Send Key (as in, the call key) is the only thing that can be changed... (and that may be disabled on some devices)
Which button do you use for MSVC
Thanks for the answer, but which button do you use for MSVC?
Actually if you are using a button remapping program, for example i'm using spb pocket plus', you can also remap the ok (hold) button too.
so a total of 2 remappable buttons for diamond only

I personally don't... It may be possible to redirect the long press keys to things (long press end goes through a shortcut in \Windows)
you can use ae button plus
With this you can remmap all the buttons + volume bauttons + many more.

How do you get aeb to work while running another program? I can only get it to work on the today screen?
Thanks! now I use AE Button und remapped the long pressed "Volume up" to MSVC. Works perfect!

Mapping buttons on Diamond

I've got an XDA Ignito, and it only shows one button (voice speed dial) in the buttons app.
When looking in the registry there is only the key: 40C6, which is the Voice Speed dial, but no other keys.
Is it possible to add a key, and map it to a hardware button, maybe the ones above the phone keys, without using other software like AE Button +?
I have already tried with the keys 40C1-10 and it doesn't seem to make any difference.
Any ideas?
Thanks for any replies!
bummp bump
Use AE Button Plus and watch button details... perhaps you can find registry that AE Button is using...

AE Button Plus - Windows Key Remapping

Hi there,
The Windows hardware key I find rather useless, as you can easiley just tap on "Start".
Is there any way to remap this key with AE Button Plus? It doesn't seem to work with my Diamond2.
Thanks and regards,
