Ok so I'm just wondering what the latest release is ? As I'm runnin rc5.1 and was wondering if there's an update or if its still being developed????

According to this thread , u are running the latest developed version.
So just sit tight and wait for any new version like everyone else
And contribute logcat if u found any bugs

i tried froyobylaszlo but i couldnt use the home button so i tried ginger yoshi and well that wouldnt download from mediafire and rom manager fc aswell as the browser lol

No home button on froyobylaszlo? that is weird, because on my magic everything is working except the search button, which didn't properly assigned to google search.
Can't really be helping you coz mine is working flawlessly

oh well lol...im kinda running 2.3 perfectly

good for u, I've tried some of the GB roms out there ( but I forgot bout the ginger yoshi ) and most of the are still not really stable for me, that is why I go back to froyo..maybe I'll try ginger yoshi after they release a new version

regarding honeycomb i think hes working on that and atm its just a preview

they had seen something in g1 development, it seems very interesting !!!!!

[Q] Camera problem

Im using GingerUltimate rom on my w8... download from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJmdGs3fmY8&feature=related.. so everythings work just fine but.. there is one thing is camera.. always force close if i want camera to restore default.. how to fix this problem?? please anyone help me.. if this problem solve, I will have a working 2.3 rom with no bugs..(my opinion.)

are you sure its ginger Ultimate and not something like ginger dx? it should say what it is under setting about phone

if you look the video you will see that rom is gingerxperia v21!
@BohArie try other ROMS, this is not the best you can get!

My frnd has galaxy ace froyo version..he needs to update it to gingerbread...can anyone post link to download stock gingerbread firmware for india....?..and also pls suggest best custom rom without any bugs...

Update it via kies or download firmware from sammobile.

I am not being lazy..my phone is galaxy SL...i am just helping my frnd in upgrading as he is not aware of it....i am not doing it for my sake...if u just cant help, pls dnt post words like that i am being lazy to search....i just asked which rom would be better? Thats it......

Last I checked, having a different phone doesn't inhibit your ability to search the forums... But to 'help' you,I like ICS/JB, I would recommend Wayland's CM ROMs

as currently it looks like you didn't which is why no replies were posted to begin with

He probably search root 4.1.2 AMC1 and hes probably new to android rooting and worry if the other thread without AMC1 listed would brick his device

This or the toolkit works on all fw.
If you feel like you still want ota or kies to work for updates... don't even try it if you can't even find root on your own
There's a lot more to know than just how to root it.

should have searched for "how to root"
method should still be the same regardless of AMC or AMD or AMB ROM variant
