Hey guys.. I start this thread to see where do you know all what you know about phone developing... Maybe that's your passion? Maybe you learn all from school? Or by internet? I'm young (15 years old) and i like all rom for our ace, I'm really surprised for what some dev are doing (like Maclaw, but not only) and i like mobile world in general .. I'd like to become a dev... For now what i can do is modify some Rom managing on their zip and add or remove app.. Odin, how to root and install recovery and Rom is easy for me..

I've running my own rom, and hi got some mods of my own, some theming from other members, my own tweaks, and its been a great adventure and i only own an android since November and i am no genius or great developer, but i am really curious, and I'm only five year older than u!
All u have to do is search, ask, and LEARN

1.Install my hells fusion kernel
2.Remove boot.img from the package
3.Boot into cwm recovery

sgy has a cm7 built from source still it has bugs..

You can install whitexp's CM7 for the Galaxy Y on our phone and boot it fine with Rafael's kernel. I believe it has the same bugs as reported in your kernel's thread (e.g. telephony doesn't work).
I'm quoting RubenStauttener (I sent him a PM after I read he installed CM asking him if he modified it first or not, this was his reply; I hope he doesn't mind):

Yes but he uploaded a kernel which supports cm7, now he needs a team for building cm7. So it's a new thread.
If I understand you correctly here .. We may use CM7 .. but whether we can use white-xp kernel?

First of all i would like to thank hell lock for his contribution to our device.i would have really helped in porting cm7 but my phone got bricked doing some random work so its not with me right now.
Secondly whats wrong with all of you
At one instant you make numerous amount of thread begging for cm7 ports and when we have got someone willing to do this and had even made a kernel for our device without even owning this phone,you all starts acting in starange manner and starts giving order like you want cm7 with whitexp's kernel and ask him to build from source.
I mean will you all help him port whitexp's kernel and will you first help him make it from sources and then sovle the bugs.
The answer is no.most of you will sit in home install the rom and tell about bugs and starts eating their heads to fix those.
So just let this guy port cm7 with his own kernel,with his own way and if anyone here who doesnt want to help and doesnt agree with him,just get lost.
I would help, but I'm a noob devolper and have to do my custom rom first so sorry

I love cyano from my first Android device (zte blade), but lately the link samsung-sky has become so strong that it makes me not make root on my note to avoid the failure of skygo, so I came up with an idea, some time ago I read that for s2 (my ex devices first of note) it was possible to have a dual boot and it possible to have 2 rom together and choose which to launch, now I wonder: can have the dual boot for my notes? so I keep as the main cyano and when I would use skygo i start the second rom (stock no root) in which only install skygo.

For the Users:
If the ported ROM is SVHD 1.7.5 or Smaller , you got Full Sense
If it is 2.0.0 or 2.1.0 you got Lite Sense
Nevertheless, SVHD is one of the best (if not the best) and most stable ROMs currently out there for the HTC DHD.
If the dev can port it well, you should have a lot of fun.
Maybe i will try it soon with my GF's Arc S and compare it to my DHD ^^

Commmon dude , help the dev with logs and stuff, make this thing boot or atlest encourage them rather than commenting like this.. No offense bro, buti hope you understood what i meant.. there are something called "Rom" this is like you have stock Samsung Rom "android" 2.3.4
there are some companys for other ROMs like : CyanogenMod (cm)
parandroid android(PA)
and more....
you can search for this "roms" but to be for galaxy mini
for example :
CyanogenMod Rom for galaxy mini
then there are themes for these ROMs on Google play

First thing of all, before you ask something, you should search at your favorite search engine. If you want more detailed help you can ask in Q&A section. This section, is only for finished work of Themes or Apps. So first fault you did is not searching before posting and you didn't read completely the section description.
So, you're asking "Themes" right ? No wonder, you have to either flash a custom ROM (detailed guide by Googling) that supports T-Mobile Theme Engine / Theme Engine, or you have to decompile system APKs one-by-one to get preferred style. Oh, before you get started, you should Google :
1. How to upgrade your phone to 2.3.x (if you haven't)
2. How to root your phone
3. How to install CWM to your phone
4. How to flash a custom ROM
Do what does the tutorial tells you. You have to risk yourself and your phone by doing those tutorials. Also, by doing those tutorials, you've removed your warranty.
