Hey guys.. I start this thread to see where do you know all what you know about phone developing... Maybe that's your passion? Maybe you learn all from school? Or by internet? I'm young (15 years old) and i like all rom for our ace, I'm really surprised for what some dev are doing (like Maclaw, but not only) and i like mobile world in general .. I'd like to become a dev... For now what i can do is modify some Rom managing on their zip and add or remove app.. Odin, how to root and install recovery and Rom is easy for me..

how to root, how to flash, know how to compile and decompile, some adb ...

I've running my own rom, and hi got some mods of my own, some theming from other members, my own tweaks, and its been a great adventure and i only own an android since November and i am no genius or great developer, but i am really curious, and I'm only five year older than u!
All u have to do is search, ask, and LEARN
go for it!

There are wont be any big new roms for stock kernel.
Ics for stock kernel is possible but as i tried it requires soo much work to write all the code.

I love all the developers hard work but still I feel the need for future update.. in regards to future releases.
omg, dude, you have to be patient, if there isnt a rom without bugs its probably because they are still working on them, you cant just post whatever you want and demand a new rom, everyone has a life, it is this kind of attitude that pisses off developers, first of all READ and learn, again READ, be patient...
i cant unlock my bootloader too, buy i dont go around demanding people to make a rom for me, if you want it make it yourself, if you dont know how to, learn, but if you are waiting for someone to build a rom for you, well... you have to wait then...

In a way i get wat he's sayin. There's no ics for stock that's good for daily use. The only open project here on xda is devstaff's and he can't do it alone. Too much work for 1 person, i guess. So mybe he just wants to request a "working" ics for stock.
But still, all our devs work hard for their roms and whatnot. It's good he apologized but if there's no ics or whatever rom for stock kernel, then all we can do is enjoy the roms working on our phones.

Then ask for help on specific things. Search the forums, there are millions of tutorials. Your rom won't get anywhere if you don't start before you have a team.

The Galaxy s2 have working multi window port from note2, its possible to port this to s plus or it needs samsung framework ? It would be very great if our phone becomes this mod

well, I will bring out two versions, one TWframeworks using and one without TWframeworks (will be released soon, alpha is already made. maybe this weekend, probably next cuz of exams... this build will NOT be named ProjectStock...)

But you should be, if you flashed CM7 without problems
It's made by R3D X and it's a very colorful theme, you might want to try it.
Also try various Jelly Bean and ICS themes that give you the ISC/JB look and feel, like this, this, this and this.
Also Mixer, Sesify(Xperia style) and BackwardSpiral's themes are a good choice if you want a single-color theme. BackwardSpiral has a lot of colors to choose from.

If you really must ask that question im afraight youll lack the expertise to succesfully compile, build and package a rom.
If you feel lucky try searching around the forum and or google on how to compile amd build cyanogenmod for your device, also on their website is a quide/wiki.
