I have a T-mobile HD2 and looking to buy the Vikuiti screen protector. Its not specified if the screen protector was for the T-mobile, international or Telstra version. Can anyone confirm if the screen size/dimensions/button arrangement are the same or different between the different HD2 models? Do I need to look specifically for the T-Mobile version?
Hi... can anyone confirm? I would really hate to buy one online and find that it doesn't fit my HD2. Can't seem to find this info through the search feature
THAnks
No, the US T-Mobile version and the UK (or other country not US) version are different sizes.
Check out the dimensions on GSMArena pages:
http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_hd2-2957.php UK or not0US version
http://www.gsmarena.com/t_mobile_hd2-3228.php - US version
The UK version is 120.5mm tall, the US is 122mm.
Make sure you get one that's specifically for the T-Mobile (or US) version of the Hd2 - and DON'T buy from Zagg - they're the worst - they sent the UK version to me then refused to refund or accept any return because they claimed the devices were the same size and I was mistaken - they're complete idiots, have horrible customer service, and sell the same stuff for higher prices.
Bodyguardz.com used to have separate items for the US and Uk versions - but now have only the one. Maybe ask them if they have a single version that fits both models before buying.

Where to buy?
I want to know also.... where can I buy a Diamond Touch in the USA?
Well Texasaggie1, you have 5 places that cells this phone and many others.
I bought mine off ebay. I stay in mississippi. Im using tmobile which uses 1900 gsm. I havent had any issues with calls. It picks up better than my tilt was in some places.
TD in USA
I got mine from California, but cant recall just after they came out. I did some whats called....googling... and found two places that will sell USA 850 gsm phones in July and August if you want to wait for a 850 TD. Personally i will buy a USA 850 TDA when they come out and will probably sell my triband. I guess I got one of the GREY so called phones. However it works like a charm with just the usual issues that everyone has, however I really like it. I have two places that will be selling the USA 850 phones so far.

Try that !
Just curious as to why some Diamonds are referred to as 'grey'?
`cause they are "illegal" = grey imports

WRONG!!!!! they are not illegal. When they talk about grey imports...it just means that the product was destined for another part of the world but somehow some retailers managed to get it for their region ie alot fo the grey units in the UK were for the Asian market. Only problem is that having a grey unit means you wont get any support from HTC uk...you would need to register it on the Asian site of HTC and also for any warranty repairs you would need to send it back to them in Asia. Although places like Expansys have said they would look after warranty repairs etc themselves.
Oh ok cool Haha. I thought they meant grey as in the colour of the actual diamond. 'Cause mine is imported and the area around the LCD and the hardware keys look slightly grey and I thought there was actual 'black' versions. I would love to have a complete black looking version. Is the O2 version completely black or does it have that grey kind of look as well around the LCD and the hardware buttons? I wonder if I'd be able to switch the housing later on.
I live in the UK and am about to buy an HTC One online, but I want to be sure when it arrives that the guy hasn't got some cheaper US handsets or something and is selling them here, hence the phone would be running on the wrong LTE bands. Is there a way to verify exactly which version of the handset I have once it arrives? I'm assuming, as I'm in the UK, I want the GSM one, m7ul....? But what about the other international versions? Thanks
I have the D802 international model. I want to buy a good case for it. when i search the web there are few cases that fits T-mobile/AT&T/Verizon. I know that verizon are not compatible for my device. what about T-mobile/AT&T? which one is suits best for the international D802 model?

I am guessing if a case doesnt fit verizon and the one youre looking at does, but also tmobile and AT&T then all cases for AT&T and Tmobile also wont fit. Verizon model is wider I think.
All the big case company like incipio and ballistic make cases for this model and not for the international. I think I will have to wait alot of time till there will be high qualety case for the international model. I realy want to try the incipio dualpro case but i dont want to wast my money on a case that wont fit.
This really sucks. I never understood this fixation from the US companies to alter the phones and make it incompatible with tons of stuff.. Sure, they can sell their own accessories in a larger quantity, but how many customers do they lose instead?
It's frustrating when you live in Europe.. It's as if many companies even forget that there is something like a country that's not the USA, and in many cases that there are phones besides iphone. More accessories to the people!
I bought this case: www dot ebay dot nl/itm/Flip-case-for-LG-G2-D802-D802TA-with-S-view-Auto-wake-sleep-function-sensor-/200969510257 (sorry for that URL, I'm a new member so apperantly I can't post URLs....
It looks really interesting, especially because it has that QuickWindow thingy, which I haven't seen before on these kind of third party cases.

I just searched yesterday in Indonesia, and there were two cases. I got one that is from Korea (voia.co.kr) and is a QuickWindow case. It is exactly like the official LG G2 case, except cheaper!
The only other one I saw that was interesting was on Amazon. It is a QuickWindow case, but instead of hard plastic for backing, it is completely leather and can be used as a stand. But I prefer the hard casing because I would just be afraid of dropping the leather version. It is also not compatible with Verizon.

Am i missing something here? How is it even possible that the same phone now has different dimensions depending on regions/carriers? I thought only the branding and stock software were manipulated for the US carriers. Has this been done before for previous phones? I buy only international unlocked models, so i'm not aware what goes on with the US carriers.
So, LG apparently designed two (maybe there's more?) different sizes of their flagship phone? What is actually different? Is it just the physical size? Is there any difference in hardware that would justify the different sizes? Can someone please provide more details about all the different LG G2 models and compare their differences?
Back on topic: IF you have the international model, this should fit http://www.otterbox.com/Commuter-Se...?dwvar_lgx4-g2_color =20&start=1&cgid=lgx4-g2 although it clearly states "NOT compatible with the LG G2 (Verizon)".
I'm on MetroPCS coming from a Nexus 6. I love the ROMs and customization available on the Nexus but the Note's screen is so much better and since my Nexus has a black strip at the bottom for navigation buttons the Note's usable screen size is actually bigger. I don't want the 6P, I want wireless charging and the stylus. I'm buying the phone outright and not on a contract. Is there a different T-Mobile compatible version than the n920t that would be better in terms of ROMs/customizations available? Anyone using the N920I on T-Mobile? Any recommendations where to find a 64gb T-Mobile compatible phone that's actually in a sealed box? Is there going to be a 128gb model? I've struck out on Amazon, eBay's offerings are "opened to check contents" so directly from T-Mobile.com for $780 is actually the cheapest I've found so far.
You should probably just stock to the T model. The rom customization is the same as you can flash all international roms on the T model.

Hi,
Does anyone know whether the Nokia 8 john Lewis sells supports dual sim, or know anywhere else that sells a dual sim supporting model in the UK?
Thanks
For anyone else looking for a UK Dual Sim model, they're almost impossible to find. The BT Shop lists them at £521 (yes £220 more than most places currently list the single sim ) but I couldn't find them elsewhere. Plenty of grey imports on Amazon, and ebay has the usual sellers importing the Asian market version from China but trying to pretend they're based elsewhere, with the usual warranty risks. I went with purchasing an EU model from Clove - they're slightly dearer than the UK single sim versions, but not too bad. I'm guessing pressure from UK network providers is why we largely get single sim versions. Probably not a big issue for folks who live and work in one place, but I've yet to find a network provider who offers consistently good data coverage across Kent.
I looked at the 7 plus as an alternative (surprisingly hard to choose between the two) but I think the Nokia 8 still has the edge and Dual Sim versions of the 7 Plus aren't any easier to find in the UK.
