Have anyone New Official HTC WM6.5 Test Version for Rhodium???

i had see many new roms in change log says including new stuff from new wm6.5 test rom
have anyone new wm6.5?

HTC official Roms
WM 6.5 oficial Roms are due out this week, maybe now we will get a decent one which works in all areas, i have yet to seeone

If you look at itje's ROM, my ROM and Ark's ROM we have everything working on all areas or we are just putting the finishing touches on it. All based on official 6.5 ROM

Can anyone confirm if the HTC official WM6.5 ROM for TP2 comes with TellMe software installed as standard?, also do any of the cooks have in in .cab form for WM6.1?
It looks absolutely brilliant but it's probably the only thing I can see that makes upgrading worthwile for me... if there is a .cab file it will save me hell of a lot of hassle ;-)

3.46.25.18 in official HTC 6.5 ROM? when there is already 3.46.25.30 update fr 6.1 from their web?

That's the old 6.5 test rom that has been floating around since mid-august. It's a nice and stable rom but with TF2.1 only.

I think HTC won't give us TF2.5 :-(

I think the offical wm 6.5 is releasing tomorrow right

I just checked the offical windows mobile website
It says for the HTC Touch Pro 2 : Release Date yet not available
Since today was the BIG day as per the offical announcements they should have released the offical windows mobile 6.5
But till now no news on the windows website ...

The new official HTC's ROM is available right now for TP2 here : http://www.htc.com/fr/SupportViewNews.aspx?dl_id=689&news_id=272 but still needed a serial of non-branded phone. Can anyone download the ROM and put it here, on XDA ? thx !

This ROM was released on 2009-10-01, so this can't be the 'new' ROM with WinMo 6.5 right?

@lancelot54: its not 6.5 - its still 6.1 I guess. Look at the date.

I have got the non-branded one but it does not accept neither my SN or IMEI.

People are right. This rom is out of date. The latest french official rom on the site is 1.19.406.1, whereas this is 1.19.73.5 and seems to be older !!!

stock rom from htc site my friend, it should be manila 2.5.
very stable rom and very fast.

this may be a silly question but i i take it there will be new roms cooked from this and if so i think ill wait then re flash

It is fast and stable. I try most of the cooked and beta 6.5 rom here. Got a lot of drop calls or sometime the screen froze. I had to do soft reset to have it rom running again.

ahhh good stuff just what i'm looking for, fast and stable! be great to see the chefs cook up some roms based on these official releases and make them even faster!

no its not manila 2.5 its manila 2.1 with weather clock...
but very stable and everything working fine including video call, landscape mode, update mylocation thru 3G/HSDPA. all working fine and stable.
this is official ROM for each region. if your region rom not out yet, u need to use Hardspl to use other official region rom. if not u will meet the 'invalid vendor id problem'.

Can't download
I was going to download official 6.5 rom from HTC norwegian pages, entering serial number tell me that the download is not for my unit. I have a generic version, not a version with operator software.

This new official ROM took out so much memory. 73-81% used. Not cool!
Using Unlocked UK ROM.

upgrade
i tried to upgrade my touch pro 2.. for the HTC site and i was told 'Sorry, this software download is not suitable for your device'.. i got mine from canada unlocked its a telus branded fone.. plz can someone show me how to upgrade...

Manila 2.1. That is great as I don't like the Manila 2.5 Home screen. Too crowded and visually not pleasing to me.
However, I do like the HTC Twitter tab at Manila 2.5. Any chance where we can have the HTC Twiiter tab as a cab file to be used on Manila 2.1?

Is this a WWE upgrade? Not sure what RUU means.

Hello,
Can anyone please suggest me a rom which is based on the official windows 6.5?
I looked at the couple of rom;s , but am not sure, if it is based on test packages or the official 6.5 package.

There is no official 6.5 rom for the HD, just pick one of the many available cooked ones and try, if you don't like it you can always go back to the stock one
I would suggest Miri's V29. (His test rom is labeled "test")

Manila in plain terms is a skin over the top of windows mobile to make everything more pleasant smoother and easier to run (this is also known as TF3D and Sense in the earlier ROMs)

The radio controls all your wireless running gprs etc this comes with the ROM . Never tried updating the radio alone so may or may not be possible

All the ROMs in the forum are made from original (stock) ROMs which have then been tweaked to remove items that are not needed or wanted .. Add items in that are needed or wanted or to change the look and functionality of the original.

WM6.5.X is a term to say will work on WM6.5.1 WM6.5.2 WM6.5.3 without having to list each one individually

I bought an used Diamond 2. If I am not mistaken, it has custom ROM installed. ''OS version: 5.2.21887 (21887.5.0.86)
Manilla version: 2.5.20113030.0
ROM version: 2.53.479.3 (76952) WWE
ROM date 02/01/10
Radio version: 4.49.25.91
Protocol version: 61.44etc.25.35U''
I dont know what any of these numbers mean, but i want to get back to original ROM.
So my question is - can I flash my device back to original ROM? If I can, how do I do it?
